Chilly during the night, chillier tonight! Day temps around 75.......

Beautiful day yesterday, cool night, good for sleeping.

Happy summer, everyone! Temp should hit 80 today with low humidity.....good day to be in the gardens!

rain late yesterday, 68 and hazy today

High was only 73 for the first day of summer.....did get many things done in the garden, must continue today although the temp will be closer to 80......

74° breeze off the ocean is keeping it cool.

Sunny & 80 today.....tomorrow FL heat & humidity move in.....going to the farm to babysit today, at least I won't freeze!

Sunny, hotter, more humid today....should be in the garden, but my poison ivy is a real pain!

Sorry you have PI. DH got it out of the Siberian iris which did not bloom. Ivy bother it?

Cloudy & cool right now, although temps should get into the 80s....we need the rain...never thought I'd be saying that! Surprised the sibs didn't bloom.....maybe the ivy was choking the clump.....

Probably there were plenty of fans. I'm sorry, while it is an old fashioned flower, it is lovely. 72° this early in the morning--I bet it will be hot!

Rained during the night, gardens look happy! Should have showers today as well......temps in the 80s.

69° rain after 3 am & a bit later at 5:30. For some reason could not fall asleep so not too sharp this morning.

The sun got very hot today. temp now is 84. I am reduced to easy tasks. Anyone for minty green iced tea with Meyer lemon?

Yum, that sounds wonderful! Another hot sunny day on tap for today....really need the rain....watered the veggies last night using water from the rain barrel, but the water's almost gone.....

Sounds nice. It's 84 here all day just as predicted. It was necessary to follow the shade.

79° going to be in the 80s all week. I think that we will grocery shop in the morning before it gets too hot. I am no looking forward to the temp & of course will get nothing done.

very hot today - had another weeding marathon this weekend

I did a little.....should have done more! Too dry out there, we need the rain that hopefully, is coming in tomorrow.....Up to the farm to babysit today.

89 and humid

Only 73 so far but the humidity is a killer! I weeded and touched up the pruning yesterday and the heat and humidity were oppressive. Even edging and spreading bark chips seems like a big deal for today.

It was really nice at the farm yesterday.....breeze blowing from the lake....today I'm at home....should be in the 80s, partly cloudy, more humid....

Temp just dropped from 93 to 88. For my last hour of today's garden maintenance, I found a sanctuary under the weeping Sargent hemlock. Much cooler to trim it from underneath.

That's funny. Temp is down to 84° so I assume it was much higher this afternoon.

I think our high yesterday was 88......same today, but rising chance of showers that are desperately needed!

Our showers are predicted for Thurs. 78° here now. Partly cloudy. 90 yesterday & same predicted for today.

Stayed at the farm last night babysitting my granddog......noises don't bother him, he's a hunting dog, but there was such a crack of thunder he came running upstairs......I thought the house had been hit! Cable & phone were knocked out, but power stayed on. Same scenario today.....

Thunderstorm here last night, no damage that I know of. 3/4" of rain. Supposed to be downpour here as well today--so far just an overcast. 74°

After a very rainy day, last night was cool...in the 50s....had all the windows closed at the farm, plus a blanket over me, & I wasn't too warm! High 70s today, sunny, very windy!
