I wanted to let you all know that Danny is going to be taken out of the intensive care unit and probably home tomorrow .Thank God, he is going to be OK !! He did get nerve damage to his shoulder when he fell .The wound is in the top of head ,but he is going to make it .Thank you ,Sweet Jesus !!!!! Thank You and Love you ALL for your Thoughts and Prayers !!!!! Please keep the Prayers coming for him and any and all in need !

My cousin Maggie's VBBF and friend of mine has been in the hosp. with a blood infection from a uti infection .And then yesterday after a church a church member of Maggie's and her family was bit by a copperhead .They are in Georgia .

Ryan has to go see an oral surgeon on May 5th to see about getting his wisdom teeth cut out (they are impacted) .He went to the dentist this afternoon and got antibiotics and pain pills .Poor guy has been in mega pain all weekend .His face is even a little swelled .Wish I could help him !Hope he feels good enough to go to work tonight and tomorrow night .He'll need the money to pay for the surgery and will probably need to call off after surgery and they are on the point system at work.

My Cousin's daughter is in Oklahoma storms having her 1st baby .He (Landon) was born the 26st weighing in at 9lbs 1oz and 22.5 " long .......All are healthy and doing great !

I know Danny was buoyed by HUNDREDs of prayers. Such a heavy response must have set our Lord to send legions of angels to Danny's side. Danny will be a walking testimony to His greatness.

It's 90's degrees and I was planning to work in the yard. Instead went to the store and when we got there entire store was in the dark. Couldn't use ATM, only cash or check. Of course, I left my check book at home and no cash in my purse. We then stopped at Walmart and I picked up a few things I needed, of course that included dog food. I guess that means I should carry checkbook with me. I got into the habit of using debit card only. Should have gone to store earlier when everything was working. Now, I think it is time for a short nap.

I carry only cards with me Pegi. Will have to start carrying checkbooks as the lights went out at a store yesterday. Had to leave everything behind.

We are having a spate of robberies in this small town. One manager was killed at a grocery store. MickeyD's robbed. A home invasion occured where an old man was burnt. One gas station robbed. The police was kept busy yesterday.
The man that killed the manager and then committed that home invasion, he was gunned down by the police. Kel said it saved our tax dollars from having a trial :( Sadly, we knew the manager.

i'm sorry about your friend being killed. I hope they find the other one who's robbing, or was it just the one they killed.

The one that robbed the grocery store manager, later went on to commit that home invasion. A neighbor called the police, but can't save the resident in time. The police hunted the cretin, and shot him to death.

Morning everyone, I am back home. Dr.'s are telling Heather she may have Lupus and will have to go through a lot of testing to find out for sure. Now she is freaking out because she just knows she has something really bad. I tried to tell her Lupus is not the end of the world, and if that is what she has it can be controlled with meds. She is still uneasy till she gets definite answers!

They diagnosed my SIL with Lupas and tarted her for it for years. Turns out all along it was RA. She went through a lot of pain that they could have been treating better. Hope it all turns out ok, LK.

Good for you Sissy! I'm getting my exercise pulling weeds! I work on one section at a time and then I feel like I've accomplished something when that section is finished.

Smokey brought a frog up on the porch this morning. He had broken its leg. So I picked the little guy up and took him out by the pond. Put him down and left him alone. When I went to check on him later, he was gone. Hope he makes it.

Lolol... at least its not a black snake, Cookie. That's what one of Sue's cats did to Marion. Laid a snake at her feet. Told that woman he's showing some affection!

Please tell Heather, LK, that there are wonderful treatments and she'll be able to cope. One good friend has Lupus for years, and yes, the flare ups are similar to RA for her. She worked for me for many years at the mill, never missing a beat.

Another round of antibiotics for me, and I hope I won't catch another cold. Got caught in heavy downpour that was supposed to be here yesterday!!
It seems that the right side is all congested. Oh well, that's the cause of vertigo and tinnitus. Got to quit Benadryl and move on to Zyrtec.

Went to Palliative Care today and learned a lot. Very nice young doctor and she doesn't agree with a lot of medication, for example the one he is taking for appetite is hard on the kidneys and since he only has one she didn't agree that he should be taking it. Most drugs out there are hard on some organ in your body so we have to weigh the pros and cons. She put him on a morphine pain killer that will last 12 hours and if he has a break through in pain he can take a hydromorphone pill. Also talked about the in home care and just call if I want it. Just have to pay $5 co-pay. Then of course there is hospice which is for those she feels has 6 months to a year to live, which he doesn't need now. All this my medical insurance pays for. That is just great!! Have to talk to someone about the right food he needs. Needs it for muscles, etc. not to just put weight on him. She also told him he has to walk around so blood clots don't form in his legs and go to his lungs. I hope he pays attention to that. So hot outside, wish I could have collected some of that very cool air at the medical center.

Cookie, Jaye is right! That little max cat sucker brought a small black snake this afternoon. Bad enough she brought it in the house but put it down by my feet. Sue walking by and happen to see it. She said very quietly," don't get up or look down". She then picked it up with a rag and took it outside. Of course I had to ask what was it......then freaked out! I do not get along with snakes....not even good ones that are small.

Nasty weather all day but nothing compared to what has been going on further north of here.

5 sleeps as my kids used to say....then headed home.

OH NO! I would freak out of I had a snake at my feet! Glad she was calm about it!

well remember how nice Tim was being with the divorce. Well i got the BOOM yesterday ! Ha , this is so like him. I was wondering when it was going to come down.
HE told my lawyer that he won't pay spousal support if i live with someone.... ok marriage that is a given. But to be so bold and to say i cant have a boyfriend live with me ??? !!! ( not that i have any plans in the near future to do that) but , that is just being an ass. Then to add insult to injury, he said he would gladly pay for up to 4.5 yrs ( origianl 4 yrs ). adding only 6 months to my spousal support............. is it me ??? this is sooooooooooooo , like him !!!!!!!!!
so my counter attack is to ask for - wait for it........ wait.......$1,300 more a month for spousal support and i will do 3 yrs. If i did my math correct. i will come out way ahead ....... if he agrees. So aggravated right now. Hmmmmmm.

How much child support, Sue? Usually in my experience things start out ok and then turn bad. I hope he doesn't spring any more bombs on you.

Well I have recovered from the snake albeit a tiny creature, it didcause great stress to my system. I'm sure all of you would have had a laughing fit.

LK, our place is fine and so is Kim. She said the rivers are getting high, several roads are closed but otherwise... okay. We had 2 1/2" here.

things are just getting ugly. He won't allow me to have a live in boyfriend. He doesn't want to pay for it . He can do the same thing and have a live in girlfriend who pays half and he keeps his extra money. so both parties are double dipping per say ? He gets a girlfriend who makes 30,000 yr my child support doesn't go up ? even thought his income went up . Mine doesn't . You can argue both points both valid. But the basic line is " you can't control another person personal life " plain and simple.

Things here are wet and chilly .Ryans teeth are feeling a little better with the meds.

Well Ryan was finally able or at least wanted to talk last night and told me that two of his wisdom teeth are in his sinus' and one is behind his jaw bone . That's why he is in so much pain with this sinus infection and they have to be cut out ,not pulled .

Here is my cousins daughter new baby .Landon Micheal ,he doesn't even look like a newborn .so alert and beautiful !
