Morning sistahs.
LK, my heart breaks for Heather, that she'd be facing such a serious illness. Good thing it's caught in the early stages and please tell her that we'll keep her in our prayers. That's one DIL that you have a close relationship with, and knowing you, she'll be at the top of your mind.

Thats wonderful that your son acts as your chauffer and helper, Pegi. You shouldn't have to deal with a heavy wheelchair. Kel himself struggled at times to get his overly tall dad in and out of the SUV, moreover the wheelchair.
That must be a relief, not having to fork out part of the 66 thousand.
How's his appetite today?

Yah Marion, DDD is no fun!! Would you believe that the rest of my sisters are C cups. My mother said that it's all because I love chicken necks when I was young!! So said, there's where the hormone injections were given to the chickens.
But then, if not for these DDDs, I don't think I can catch a man!! Lololol!!!!

I will have to get some Amaryllis bulbs as mine bit the dust. None came back up this year, all 8 of them. Doubt that Kel will take me to Lowe's so I'll be browsing online.
New gifted daylilies given by MidSouth friends, planted last year.... no signs of them :*(
3 new clematis haven't returned either. I couldn't adequately protect the garden last year and didn't expect the ice storm. :*(

So my counts of what;s left in the garden is rather disappointing.
There are two ruby loropetalum bushes that need to be cut down. Kel's tired of trimming them back and they're in the gates' way. I can't say no as this is the first time that Kel wanted something gone...

It rained last night, bright and sunny this AM. Thousands more weeds to pull now. I better get out and plant those strawberry plants today.

DH didn't want the fish last night, drank Ensure instead, but this morning he said he probably could eat it. So sorry, I ate it!! I never know if he feels like he could eat or not. Just have to play it by ear, I guess. He does walk around with his cane, but not very far. Favorite spot is the recliner with remote control in his hand.

Uncomfortably hot here today. We took lunch/dinner to Sue's friend then met our aunt and cousin for lunch. Really enjoyed the time but ate to much! Feeling lousy now..do believe my tiredness has started to take effect.

Pegi those wheelchairs can be really trying to deal with...glad you have help. Saying prayers the new treatment works.

Yay for Sue's first outing, interacting with friends and family. Poor you Marion, no doubt you've enjoyed the visit, but living for her will send you to not only physical, but mental prison.....yes it's time you take a long break.
Kel's been very ugly to me when I told him that I need replacements. He said "everyone" around have the same issues with dead plants. Told him that my plants and HIS cats are the only LIVING things around here that made me less lonely!!
Hehehe.. there's still online sales and I can always open a bag of soil, and plop a plant in, without him digging anything!

Thanks Sis LK, it's tea for me. Having a cup of cherry stem tea, hoping to flush out whatever toxins or access sodium. I'm taking Diovan HCT which has some diuretic in it, but need some more with this vertigo. Had to take an extra Xanax to wipe me out last night!

Interesting morning at church. I do believe Sue's therapist has quietly told several people that I would be going home for a week. Several ladies told Sue if she needs anyone to please call them......even gave her their phone numbers.

8 and counting.

We are getting bad thunderstorms here. Went to church and came out to a bad storm. Suppose to last till early evening, then bad weather coming in tomorrow and Tuesday. They are telling us do not rule out tornadoes. Tomorrow will be the 3rd anniversary of the tornado outbreak, that took out half of t-town, and most of concord and rock reek where I lived at the time. Please pray we won't have a repeat of that day. I am home alone, and my Sammy is scared to death.

Don't know just yet but I do know I can't do this much longer.....my family is beginning to have some objections about me being here all the time and giving up so many things I had planned. Charles is still not happy I had to cancel the cabin trip.

Pray for Danny ~ Message from Janice - " Earlier tonight my baby son was at his friends house to check on her for his male friend who was not able to be there. While he was there a friend of hers dropped by to see her. That girl had recently broke up with her boyfriend and the angry boyfriend dropped in. He started beating her so the girl who lived there jumped in to protect the girl (the one girl is handicapped)and guy started beating her too. My son wasn't gonna let a man beat them so he tried to get him off them. The guy pulled a gun n shot him in the head. They wrestled over the gun and guy may have been shot in hand ??? Not sure but guy is in jail last I heard. My baby is in trauma unit critical care in Greenville.
He is conscious and talked to me for a couple hours now. At first when they called me to come nurse wasn't sure id make it here on time. She asked a couple times how far away was I and how long till I could get there??? She wasn't too hopeful. I called Synda Glasure-Haag asking for prayer chain and when I got here he hugged me and talked to me. He knows what happened and We got hope he will be ok. Prayer works and I got faith. I don't believe God will take my baby. I'm praying anyway n claiming his healing.
I appreciate all the prayers and will update here as I can. Phone signal is blocked inside the hospital because of the trauma unit. So thanks everyone and please continue to pray. He has tests scheduled at 7 am. Should know more after that. "

I will be g one for a few days. Off to San Antonio to help out my DIL, Heather. She is going through a lot of pain with all her infections while Andy is working. I will be back Wed afternoon!

What a shame about Danny. I will pray fervently for his recuperation. I can't believe the inhumanity that is happening now. It boggles my mind and so often it is totally innocent people who are hurt the most and so badly. I will pray even harder .......
And more prayers fro Heather too. She has had enough and you are an angel to go help out LK.

When I first heard the news last night about Danny, I was sure we would be trying to help her through mourning. Now it seems there is much hope. How awesome.

Linda good of you to go help Heather, now she can concentrate on her healing knowing all is in good, loving hands.

Susan so very happy that you at last have a job that seems a good fit for all.

I am rebuking the devil of death. danny will NOT die.

WAITING ON THE LAW, I AM TIRED OF THE NEIGHBORS BRAT BEATING THEM DOGS, AND THE PONY IN THE ROAD. JUST TOLD THE MOM IF SHE DIDN'T LIIKE IT TO TELL HER HUSBAND AND I'D BE HAPPY TO KICK HIS ASS AND KNOCK SOME SENSE INTO HIM.
