Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Becky, can I have some iris and a red TX star hibiscus or 2? I killed my last one and want to try again.

Most of the things on my list are drought tolerant and native perennials, so check it out.

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

Stephanie, can I claim a Red Mountain Sage?

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Stephanie, I would also like a mountain sage if you have enough. And, SPWD, could I get a couple Pitcher Sage. I got one last year but it did not return this year.

Anyone have Pellitory aka Mt Atlas daisy?

This message was edited Apr 22, 2014 10:27 PM

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

Okay Stephanie, I will bring you 2 of the hibiscus and some iris, could you spare one or two of your Kiowa blackberry please?

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

Steadycam, I'll bring you a few pitcher sage, I actually have quite a few of them. Is your firespike the shrub with red tubular flowers? If so I'd love to ask for one of your cuttings :)

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

The firespike is Odontenema strictum, yes the pannicles of littel red tubulers. Humming birds like them and they bloom in the fall just as they come thru on their migration.

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

Yes that's the one, hummer magnets are a major plus.. I had 5 on the feeder at one time yesterday!!

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks SPWD. for the Pitcher sage and I will bring you the firespike.

Also Thank you to Dennis and Josephine for the Golden Groundsel. I would like a bit for myself and another DGer named juher7 who wants some for his red admirals. That is if there is enough to go around.

Mountain sage to: Dennis and Marty
Kiowa Blackberries (2) to Becky

Dennis, can I get some Golden Groundsel from you?

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

I will pot some up for you, Stephanie.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Dig those plants now folks so they have time to settle before going in car trunks and truck beds that day!

Dallas, TX

Question: Need to know! Did anyone get 4 o'clock seeds from me at last RU or had I confiscated, I mean gathered them yet? (I remember asking people what the seeds looked like, but that's all I remember.) If anyone got them, were they viable?

Dallas, TX

SWPD - if you have an extra 1 or 2 irises, I'd love 'em. Also, what color yarrow do you have?

Dallas, TX

Stephanie - would love some germander (spellcheck just changed that to 'gerrymander' don't you love it!) Also some John Fannick Phlox, please.

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

tx_flower_child, okay I'll bring you some iris too. I can definitely do more than 2 if you want more than that.. I have a 5 gallon bucket full of rhizomes to part with, just lmk! And the yarrow is just the common white variety.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Got you for the American Germander and the JF Phlox, tx_flower!

Dallas, TX

Ok. This is weird. I could swear I already sent this reply. Wonder what part of the virtual world it landed in. So here's the repeat version.

SPWD - Yes, please and thank you, I'd love more than 2 irises. They are a really beautiful color. Let's base it on I'll take however many you and others don't want.

Stephanie - Thanks for the American Germander and the JF Phlox.

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Sometimes I forget to hit send.

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

tx_flower_child, will do on the iris! I have more plants to trade than I thought, and I picked up close to a third of my buddy's plastic pots. Most are 2 gallon size. No flats though, bummer..

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Folks.....we need more members to sign up. Right now we only have 8!! That number won't make the $100 rent on the pavilion. Please contact those DG members that usually come to RUs in Arlington and give them a heads up to sign up on the Attendance Thread please!
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1357314/

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

josephine, I'll bring you some flats.

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

I'll ask around and see if a few friends might be interested in attending, or I can contribute more toward the pavilion rental :)

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you Marty, I appreciate it.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Becky and Everyone, remember that up till now our policy has been guests don't pay, only members pay,
but maybe we need to modify that.
What do you all think?

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

I thinks that sounds totally fair, I can't imagine anyone having a problem with that :)

(Carol) Euless, TX(Zone 8a)

I know my guest will be happy to pay.

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

covenant, I'll bring you an elderberry. What can I get for you?
