Good afternoon Cookie. Kim sent me a picture of my Blue MouseEars hosta poking their tiny little ears up. I always think of you when my hostas and coral bells start coming up......no clue why but I do. Oh to be home and able to work in my beds.

Sending get well prayers to all of you!!!!! Sure has been one bad year for sicknesses....

I've been told that whole milk and Carnation Instant Breakfast will help DH so starting tomorrow he will be offered that, plus puddings. Picked up some Hungry Man dinners to help tempt him. Won't be able to go to the party at the Elks Lodge where brother was installed as their Exaulted Ruler. DH is just too weak and sick to go. I think he (brother) took on a little too much too soon after his surgery. The meds he is taking makes him forget a lot. He thinks during surgery they didn't give him enough oxygen to his brain. LOL

Going to gather up some small tiles for my sister as she has now decided to add mosaic work to her hobbies. I know I'm got going to be able to do too much and I have an assortment of tiles I got for good price at Habitat for Humanity and even at thrift store. She wants to try to mosaic a gourd, another of her hobbies. At least she does not procrastinate like I do.

Jaye, you get sick so often, you are always in my prayers. Hope the warmer weather will be good for everyone.

Started DH on the Carnation Instant Breakfast this morning. He only wanted a half to make sure he likes it. Well, guess that went over just fine, so in between trying to get him to eat solid foods I'll have that on hand. Full of all good vitamins. I just found out my niece buys that for her grandson who is a picky eater. Puddings, etc. on hand too. He is looking better this morning than he did the last 2 days, but that weight lost isn't good. I've never seen him this thin. Plenty of ice cream on hand too. Whenever I used to get upset I just couldn't eat anything, one reason I stayed thin for so many years. Well being upset now just makes me want to eat. Boy how our bodies change. I have to get him to feeling a lot better so he can make the long trip out to see his friend and to the wonderful farm we went to on a RU years ago. I fell in love with the area, but just too much work for lazy me. She has many wonderful plants and I always come away with a few.

Well, I couldn't be wicked today - started my new job at the St. Andrew's United Church....... as an Accountant / Treasurer.
First "day" went well - 3 hours. Getting along well with the fellow (Les) training me. My hours are going to be all over the place lol Full days, mornings, afternoons..........
Les is going with his wife to BC where her mother (in a nursing home) isn't doing too well, and he'll be gone for a week (May 13 to 26). I'd better catch on quickly to my job lol

I have my own office, which is nice, and encouraged to personalize it and put pictures on the wall(s).
I'm gonna like this...........!!

Hello all, man I am so sorry sees like everyone is so sick. Healing tnoughts to you all who have been sick. Hospital stays and all. Pegi, so sorry your poor hubby is having a hard time. Poor man. And you. Sounds like you are taking very good care of him.
We got a couple of inches of snow hereover night also. It did not stay very long. The sun came out and it melted right away but it is so cold and windy today. Bbbrrr. Took the dog for a very short walk. Things are starting to come up. Daffys are looking pretty bad. Thats what I want to see more. Love the spring flowers and bulbs.

Get better, Jaye, we all miss you here. Those peeps are so cute, LK. Primary doctor said it is getting close to the end, wish I could get that message out of my head. After buying all these puddings, etc. he said he doesn't want anything sweet any more. I offered him some instant breakfast with some ice cream in it and he didn't want that. He said he never thought he would get tired of ice cream. This AM he decided he would like to try some of those good healthy drinks he sees on TV. Offered him chicken noodle soup, but he wanted tomato which I didn't get last time to the store. Marion, you have so much on your plate without wishing you could be here to help me. Thanks all for the continuing prayers. Still in the 70's here which is nice, I just can't imagine snow still coming down in some parts of the states. So very strange!!

Susan, glad you like your new job. So happy you found something you are happy with. Personalize your office, sounds permanent to me.

OMG, OMG...I am so excitided my heart is still pumping away!!!
I just watched a Hawk, yes a Hawk, no mistaking with his striped tail!! in my yard, well my neighbors tree.
He was chasing a dove and both took off to different trees...Hawk sat there for had to be five minutes.
I tried a picture but Im too shakey...It looks like a branch. Amazing how he blends in with the tree.

Ok, off to get at my yard work!

And Sunshine...plugged in the roughter, (MIL's) It works!!! and I love that it is so light, absolutely perfect for me...Dear Bill, Thank you, thank you for moving on to cars! Went to get bits at Home Depot, hands on the hips, they don't sell Black and Decker!! Sorry to say the old scroll saw doesn't work, but wow is it light too. going to see if a friend of mine will take a look, maybe he can get the motor running again.

Well news on Petrie...She has now taken flight! Already grounded as she hit a window, so she's staying low. THANKFULLY she doesn't have the speed enough to do any real damage to herself...here we go again.
