Good morning sisters.
Me too Susan. Praying that all judgement would be in Bob's favor. It's just not the Canadian courts that are messed up when it comes to child support, it happens here too. And for his ex wife to enjoy that court error, she'd be robbed of some happiness elsewhere. God doesn't sleep.
There's this one SI sister whose husband is still supporting his 18 plus year old daughter whose mother had persuaded the courts that his daughter's incapable of supporting herself due to being still mentally challenged. Throught the years, she has been collecting SS and child support and poor sister's DH thought that would stop once she's of age. Unfortunately, they live in a state whereby the laws would be in his daughter's favor.
That 'child' by the way, has bragged on her FB page that she's attending college and doing quite well. With this info, sister's DH seeks a lawyer's help to get the ruling reversed.
Yes Pegi, be very careful of cats' bites. That cat might be in distress too for reacting in that unusual manner.
Of course, I'll pray for your brother, and may he find the best treatment.
For your sister too LK. Is she handling foods better now? Your sister's plight somehow hits home. I'm very close to all my siblings, and God knows, if anyone of them are in a critical situation. I'd be a basket case.
Hello there Thunder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I demand latest pictures of Malena and Ryleigh (sp)!! Kidding sister, but if you could.. :D What new projects are you doing for your girls? Christmas will soon be here and if we know you, those little ladies will be at the very top of your todo list.
Your NY beauty center piece is very beautiful. Next time Susan organize another round robin, I'll be sure to join.
Carole, you're not the odd one out! Kathy, Pegi, Sue and Cookie won't attempt patchwork too. But then, you do other stuffs that others don't and that's make our world interesting.
If you do crochet, then you'll have company with me, Pegi, Cookie and Kathy!
Sweet Interruptions Rm:270
Kathy is still not able to hold anything down. They have given her anti nausea meds in every form they can think of, and nothing helps. She has lost almost 60 pounds in 1 month. This is not good. She is supposed to have her scope today. I am praying they find what the problem is so they can get it fixed!
This is a little bug I snapped a picture of the other day with my Samsung Galaxy phone! It is on a bloom of a purple wandering jew plant. The bloom is all of about 3/4 of inch across.
They are growing so fast!
Thank you Thunder!! Oh my!! Please tell your DIL to quit giving them growth hormones!!! Lol!
You blink, and there's Malena growing an inch taller!
So precious and Ryleigh is definitely having her own brand of cuteness. That's my heart, Malena and LK's Dylan's another cuteness overload!
Thank you Thunder, thank you!
That's a good shot of the bug, LK. You got a great phone camera with high pixels. Never had a wandering jew. Pretty.
You know what I'd recommend for your sister right? Wish the doctor would prescribe her some medical marijuana. That will get her appetite going, able to hold her food down too.
LK sending you love for your sis. I have you in my thoughts. Praying the Dr's wil find out what is wrong soon .
Jaye glad your feeling better.
Susan sure Hope Bob can get it all worked out at the court house.
Thunder love the pics ! great bunch you got there. full of smiles and giggles
Pegi sure hope your brother condition doesn't worsen with his mass. sending love to you
Well prediction is for the Rose Bowl ....... wait f or it...... Buckeye and Stanford ! HA ! well its a prediction so i m told by a reliable source LOL
Hard to beat a couch from FL . Urban Myers. But i think we can beat them.....
never got to Cookies. had to much other things going on. will try again soon
So, who are you rooting for Sue?
Urban Meyers is a good coach. He knows all the tricks of that powerhouse conference, SEC. But he betrayed the SEC. He turned tail from Florida when Tebow left! Right Marion?
It will be a test for the Buckeyes for sure. I still can't believe that the Utes beat Stanford. They need their A game back!
This is from Janice.. for those that know Ayrica. Add her to your prayers please sisters.
"One of my most precious special friends and sister is in the hospital in need of our prayers. A two car accident put her and her children in the hospital but children have come home. Ayrica is still in there with broken ribs and bones. Im asking all my praying friends to please join me in prayer for her right now.
Apparently a 2 car accident, she and all her kids were hospitalized, the 2 older girls released, I think, but they air lifted baby Gavin to Sioux Falls Childrens Hosp with head injuries, and Ayrica was taken to a local area hospital by ambulance. I think Ayrica is the only one still in the hospital. Gavin went home last night, so must be ok
Ayrica has broken ribs and fractures
That was message I got and I know God loves her and wants her healed. Please help me hold her up to God and ask for her healing. I thank you for all your help and prayers. God bless you for praying."
Jaye thanks for letting us know about Ayrica and family. Sending lots of prayers.
DH went to the lung doctor today and he said he didn't need oxygen 24/7. His oxygen level is fine when he is sitting down, but goes down when walking around. He complains he can't go anywhere because of a tank only holding 1 hour of oxygen. But, since he doesn't need it all the time he surely can go visiting. Men seem to have more complaints than women. The nurse also said I should go to Urgent Care about the cat bite and scratches. Well, there is swelling, but doesn't seem to be any infection. Got a tetanus shot and antiboicts and have to go back on Friday. That took care of an entire day day. At least we can take it easy tomorrow, I hope. Sending prayers for Ayrica and her children.
Sending prayers as well for Ayrica and her children...
Morning everyone. Pegi that is good that he does not need his oxygen all the time.
I'm glad you got the tetanus shot, Pegi. So Darwin has more energy now to throw sarcasms without the weight of an oxygen tank? Lol! Glad that his oxygen level is back to normal.
Thanks sisters for the prayers. According to one family member who happens to be my FB friend as well, the minute Ayrica can set her weight on crutches, she'd be released. I haven't been on FB yet, so will find out more later.
She's very lucky that Gavin and her kids are all okay.
I've been sewing! Got my swap buddy name for the Handmade with Love, and I have to resort to plan B! Got some stuffs that I can use, but they'd be 'repeats'!! Sew I'm forced to come up with new ideas and so far, just the cutting part takes almost a whole day. LK, wish you're close by, I'll borrow your mini cutter!
Ex called up to let me know that my SIL has a mini stroke. She's 77, just got over a toe surgery, and my ex found her in the bathtub, unresponsive. Thank God he has the key to her house as she lives by herself. I overhead the discussion between the hospital physician and my ex, as he was still on the phone with me, when he made his rudimentary checks. With the info he got, he's sure Oline caught a mini stroke as she already had 2 bypasses and a history of high bp.
Please include her in your prayers, sisters.
Funny I mentioned LK, how I can't be with my sisters if anything should happen, and here's one in Louisiana who I have spent more real time/decades than my biological sisters.
I sold my cutter. I never used it.
Will add her to our prayers.
How are you feeling?
Thanks for all the prayers! Kathy had her scope today, and they found some irritation in her GI track, and said it just takes time to heal.
I know it's a relief to hear that she will heal.
Stanford - yea! (I lived in CA for a long time).
Morning everyone.
Morning, Linda.
Morning sisters
It's going to be another hot day for us today. AC already kicks in, the temps outside are in the 80s for sure, as I was greeted by mosquitoes :D
That's good news LK. Is your sister getting any liquid food supplements? Do pray that she'd heal fast now that the doctors know what the cause is.
How's the writing going on Carole? Like I said, if your mind is set on writing fiction, you are welcome to use any of my life's experience or use me as one of your characters!
Yay! I've always like the brilliant plays of Stanford, but that was when Andrew Luck's the QB, Sue.
Your Pac 12 Conference ranks higher than the Big Ten, so that means OSU must win all games to be in the National Championship. Hate to say this, as we have sisters who are for the Buckeyes, but me want a Stanford win!!!
Sis Kathy, hope you're doing much better and you'd feel better when Bama beats the Hogs (sorry Crissie)
Marion, I don't want Clemson to win! Cheering for the Seminoles here.
My coughs have disappeared Lk. Thanks for asking. You're smart to sell that away as the dies don't last long and they're expensive.
I fell off the bed this morning. My right side hit the sharp corner of the nightstand first, before I made a landing. Thank God, the comforter rolled along with me, so there was some protection! Lol!! Thank God I'm not coughing badly as I used to!
Waving to Karen, Barb, Susan...
Today, is day two of working on my piece. Nope, not working in the gardens. Not able to bend! :)
OUCH Jaye! How did you fall out of the bed! Hope your not too sore!
Kathy has an IV now, to help get her some nourishment's!
In my sleep, somehow I felt something nudging me so my subconscious state told me to move. Moving and bam!!! Wasn't aware that I was sleeping right at the edge of the bed, and I tend to sleep on my side, LK.
It was Lola that pushed me!
Good for Kathy. She'd get the nutritions she needs
LK, glad to hear they have finally found out what has been wrong with your sister. IVs and tube feedings can be a blessing in these situations!
Oh Jaye, I hope the 'Noles will win but we shall see.............
LOL. Jaye I can so glad you weren't hurt to badly but I had visions of me doing the same thing not to long ago. I got my feet tangled in the comforter and feel off my bed.......it is a very high bed too. Kim had a great laugh as she had to come help me up. Take it easy today.
Well, I am meeting the GDs today for lunch. Today is an early day and apparently they complained I never pick them up from school anymore so guess what. This is going to be a real treat for all of us......told dad (his day off--yes just went back to work yesterday) he is not invited...girls day out!!
GO BAMA, ROLL TIDE! gonna be busy today. michaels 65 birthday tomorrow, having a party
Got great news yesterday. Norm has his one year PET scan and it came out clean!!! God is good>>>>>>>
God is AWESOME!!!
Happy Birthday to Michael! Don't over do it Kathy!
Good news, Barb!
Jaye, not writing anything but short articles at the moment.
I would ask for prayers for DH. We may be going back to the ER for the third time in the last week. I'm getting weary.
What's wrong with your hubby? Sending prayers.
Sending some prayers from here too! Hope he is okay.
Thank you, LK and Barb. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease 20 years ago. The reason he went to the ER was an impacted bowel and he has an enlarged bladder (has a Foley catheter in). He has some pain and also has a problem laying around doing nothing and has gotten up and pulled everything loose a time or two. He can't see my doctor until Nov. 1.
We do appreciate the prayers. They are definitely needed.
Prayers for all!! So good that the results came out clean, Kathy!!!
Jaye - glad you weren't hurt worse, from that fall! Waving back at you!
As for court date - in January.... we'll just have to see if his ex delays it again. She gets 3 chances, and January is the 2nd one.... hope the Stay Of Execution works, for 6 months..... Family Maintenance told me about it. !!
If you sister can hold down solids soon , she should try Jook. Rice porridge.
sure hope she can get this over with soon. sending love .
Jaye you silly girl
Hooray Norm for clean bill of clean health :)
guess who was wearing an LSU hat today ??? my boss Phil !! good thing i was drinking coffee from my Stanford coffee mug LOL
off and ruuning
It was a beautiful day, went back to doctor with my cat bites and he said everything is fine, just keep on with the meds until they are gone. Went to Costco and pick up a few groceries. Always want some things on hand for when DH can't each much. He is determined he is going fishing soon, next week no doctor appointments so maybe he will get his wish. So glad to hear good news, still praying for better health for all.
Pegi, I feel for you with the cat bite. Yes, I have had several but the last one put a real scare into me. Not fun to deal with so I am really glad you had yours checked out quickly and it is doing okay.
Slow drizzly rain here tonight. Kim is off for the weekend with some teacher friends and I am just before going to bed with a good---------. :-) I will let your imagination fill in the blanks.
I am so happy she has been found but not so happy about her condition. Hope the next report has much, much better news about her.
Is she a coon cat? She is beautiful. Hope your vet can save her. I too will be watching for good news.
So happy to hear about your cat, lanakila. I know that is a relief! I can hardly stand it when we have one go missing for any length of time. I've never had one missing for that long that returned. Very encouraging. Hugs to your both! :)
oh Lanakila - so very glad for your prodigal cat returning! I'll bet it was "off to the vet we go", and Kahakaha was happy to be home and cared for!!
This must be "cat week", with bites and returnees!
Glad your cat bites were nothing more, Pegi!
Soon, we'll be hearing about Black Cats, with Hallowe'en coming up lol
