oh my i have been busy. i will be in and out until Nov when the apple season ends.

Happy to hear our Jaye is doing better. Got my flu shot a week ago so I should be OK for the season. I was happy to see a small amount of rain, but then rememberd how all that moisture in the air affects me. Legs ache, sinus problems and just plain tired. What I need is a pair of heated leg warmers. LOL Prayers & Hugs for all my DG pals.

So many sick now, please get better soon. Guess we aren't going to get any more rain for now. DH was feeling poorly yesterday but I blame it on the chemo. The pain pills sure constipate him a lot and he has tried just about everything out there. Doctor recommended Senna, a natural laxative, but he said it isn't working either. Guess he needs more prune juice.

I have the same problem and I take two senokote s tablets a day.

I'm not sick.......

Good morning sisters.

Thursday afternoon, Kel persuaded me to accompany him to Myrtle Beach for a pick up. Thought I was feeling a tad better and I just wanted to be out of the house for a while. Moreover the promise of BooksAMillion sounds so sweet.
Big mistake. Came home feeling worse so back to bed with gallons of sugar free sports drink on the night stand and copious amounts of expectorants!

Didn't do much yesterday neither, except for flipping through Kel's arts magazines and watching taped shows. But got my appetite back. So that's one good sign.

I'm going to try to get some plants prepared for the long sleep. Kel will just have to bring the potted ones indoors, but I can manage spreading covers, one plant at a time.

Thanks for the prayers sisters. Had my usual talks with the Lord and asked Him to watch over you all and your family too.

Weather wise... a/c is on.

Sorry about your setbacks Jaye. Get some rest.

Senna has the same ingredients as Senokote only it is a natural laxative. Have to check and see if he is taking one or two tablets a day.

A beautiful day, but as usual I didn't get much done. The more pine needles I clean up the more that fall. If I didn't clean it up everything would be covered in them. I'm forever picking them out of my plants.

Hubby keeps cleaning up the leaves too. I tell him...we live in the woods and there are 20 times more still in the trees. Plus we don't have a lawn to speak of. No point in it really.

Our leaves haven't even started to color and fall yet. There are very few down here.

It's Thanksgiving Day here, in Canada, and we have a couple of our closest friends coming over :-)

Please keep my sister in your prayers. They are transferring her from the rehab nursing home to St. Mary's hospital. She has not been able to keep anything down so they are going to put a scope down her throat to see what is going on. She is pretty malnourished and not doing well.
