Please remind me what to bring for a doorprize?
2013 N Central TX RU in Arlington**OCTOBER 20TH** ATTENDANCE
And do we just bring 1 door prize? I can always bring an extra in case someone forgets.
(I repeat. I'm not a hoarder. I just have a lot of 'stuff' that seems to accumulate.) :D
Also, do we need to bring our own folding chairs if we want to sit? Or does the time fly by so no time for sitting?
Just trying to get the feel for logistics.
There is plenty of seating there, no need to bring chairs, and an extra door prize is always a good idea in case someone forgets.

Yes, it could be Papaya, you just have to wait and see.
The fact that you don't have or eat either one is irrelevant, birds could have dropped the seeds there.
That is how invasive get spread into the wild.

Sandy....Sorry you can't be with us, but having worked for a vet; it is best to keep her away from others and use bleach on everything she touched where possible. She doesn't need stress of people and new places now either. Parvo can be deadly, glad she pulled through.
Sheila, Gypsi asked about door prizes and I posted on the wrong thread. She asked on the sign up thread.
It is with great regret that I have to tell everyone that Mark and I will not be there this time. We've had some commitments come up at church that we really can't miss. :(
I won't be able to attend this fall, but Robert and I hope to see everyone in the spring!

Oh my Goodness, Stephanie and Pat not coming? I am so sorry.
Sheila, You are so right. It wasn't till after I posted we were coming that I thought of it. It was hell going through it with her and her immune system isn't up to par yet. She is so rotten and cute and watching her play and love on us makes one forget just how close she was to not being here. And it was devastating to know she got it out of my yard and haven't had a dog in 4 years. I would not ever put someone through what we just went through.
I know we will try in the spring. Sending a bunch of hugs to everyone.
Josephine, it was a hard decision, believe me! I will miss seeing everyone, but hope to see everyone in the spring.

Stephanie.....Please get your promised plants together and I will take them to RU and get those you were given. Not a problem. I don't plan on carrying as much this year.
Sheila - I've got a large trash bag that's almost full of oak leaves. I promised them to Stephanie. I'm sure that by the 20th the bag will be squished down and not take up much room. I think it would be great if you'll be able to take them to Stephanie.

Tx Flower child.....I will bring them home with me, not a problem. I haven't heard from Stephanie, but should be able to take and receive her plants without a problem. She only lives five minutes from me.

No, you give them to the person in charge and they will take care of it, when we have the raffle.
Speaking of "person in charge"...can I get a couple volunteers to help out? Mark & Stephanie usually help as does a few others, but they won't be here and I need someone early.
We need help with the food as it comes in. Main dishes together, deserts together, etc. It is just Frank, Josephine and myself to do set up, sign in, unloading, directing new people, and door prizes. I hate to beg....but I am begging!
Sheila_FW----Richard and I are coming to Dallas on Saturday to do some things and really don't have anything to do on Sunday morning except eat breakfast and check out of the hotel. Even though we have never been to a roundup we can follow directions if given a specific job and would be more than happy to help. If you are still looking for someone, just let me know.
