BING!!! Loving everyone's pretties!

(Pam) Warren, CT(Zone 5b)

Lots of Inspiratiion here!

I gardened all night in my sleep, felt so guilty about not doing much yesterday... 90's predictied for today again, and only 2 days left before we leave for the week... So out I go...wonder how long I'll last! Yikes!!

Thomaston, CT

Don't stay out too long, Pam! I only walked Suey a 1/2 mile, in the shade down by Leadmine Brook. Very buggy, even with spray! Loved all the blooms, Jen, Pixie, & Mittsy! Great insect shot, Jen....Pixie, you have fruit! I have a few apples, that's it. I can see I need a darker JI.....loved the Ocean Wizard....

Thomaston, CT

This is lily Baywatch....am liking the coral color!

Pixie ,thanks for including the "I forgots"

South Hamilton, MA

I have been enjoying everyone's photos. Our daylilies are out. they are older ones except for the few seedlings. Bee's idea of hybridizing. Too hot for us to do any work.

Thomaston, CT

Agreed, Iris....too hot to do anything outdoors.......too hot to do anything except read!

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

Hot, here too, I dig a little bit, then come inside to wash the sweat from my face, have a drink of iced tea or water, then rest a bit and go back out. Very, very humid.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Beautiful coral one, RD! Yes.....really hot out...real feel 105. Had to do a teensy bit outside, but now enjoying reading too. I just finished Pompeii and Sarah's Key....both very good! Hot weather is great for catching up on some ibooks!

Had to read your posts with a magnifier. Hope they fix this soon. Still haven't seen any "pros" to the changes, and I'm one that doesn't mind change in general. You can't live here, there & everywhere and be bothered by change! LOL. Plus, I'm a "half glass full" person.....but not so much with these changes. 😫

Thomaston, CT

My print is actually a good size....I like the change to purple & green for colors....one of these days I'm hoping the width doesn't change every time I read a post......Baywatch was a lily I picked up at WFF sale last year.....3 bulbs, $4.00.....I like that kind of a sale! I'm catching up on my reading as well, but the weeds in my garden are taking over!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Same here, but I haven't really been outside in days. It is awful!!!

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

I'm the one who says if the glass is half full, OK who didn't put it in the dishwasher?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

a few from today - camera fogged up once it got outside - was concerned about the lotus because if you cut stems it can drown itself and I cut flower heads for my wife late last fall after the stem looked dead - just needed some warm weather

that lily is a volunteer no idea where it came from - it is in an established bed

a few years ago I planted a bunch of rubeckia and in the third shot you can see they nicely self seed along with lupin and foxglove in this bed

Wha, every time I see pictures of you garden, I'm struck by the intricacy of the designs...

I'd love to show the sculpture in pic #2 to our stone guy... He is such a young talent, and so eager... i'm not quite sure whether he'll end up in art or construction.

Enjoying our daylilies through the window, 'cause too hot to go outside.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Beautiful Bill!!! Lucky you on the lily, that looks like 'Rosella's Dream' or 'Vermeer'.

Pretty Jen, nice shot of the butterfly.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Wha, maybe a phantom visitor planted it whilst you were looking the other way.

Nice, Jen
