Very impressive!!! My hubby likes your stones!!!
Very nice Bill!
Lovely Bill!
Bill's pictures brighten up the morning. Not many of us have the stone sculptures, but Bill's inspiration has us "listening to stone."
Bill's gardens are so serene...love the hostas.
just perfect!!
Breathtaking!
Beautiful Bill!
Lovely blooms Jen!
Perfect way to begin my day....green with envy. But I look good in green so you have made my day. I can't believe how much the stream area has filled in already since I last saw it. I think the tapestry that you have woven with all the different foliage colors is amazing.
Raining here so no work in the garden this morning, but it might clear. Thanks again for the stunning visuals. Patti
Bill, seeing that tree line I remember when all the gardens were just in the planning stage. What a great job you have done since I first saw in 2008
thanks - all the rain has helped this year - especially with the hosta's most were liners at one time - still some spots to work on
Bill ! that's what gardening is all about.
I am moving lily beds this summer.
As Patti said the tapestry of foliage colors is amazing....so are those delphs!
Wha, your landscape is soooo beautiful! So much color and texture from foliage, like a painting. And then the delphs as a wild card, just amazing! Do you have luck with them coming back? I haven't tried them because locals say they aren't reliable, but other iffy plants seem to do well at our place so I'm getting tempted...
if you are talking about the hosta liners - yes I have only lost a handful - I pot them up in 1 gal containers stick them in growing area out back and leave them there one season - they will double in size or more and the next year into the ground - they grow much faster out of containers that second season.
I do have a great hosta nursery nearby and I have a bunch from them too.
thanks for noticing the colors, textures and depth - it is what I was attempting - need to move a couple hosta still that are too similar and or sized.
You definitely tell in this pic, LOVE IT! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=9574678
Yepper, Bill, it is truly a delight to stroll around your gardens.
so pretty!
all beauties!!
RD, you make me want more lilies... But I've sworn off! I can only spray just so much in my limited time here...
Is that white Iris Spuria the one that tagged along with the yellow TBI you gave me a year or two ago? I love it here and in your pics.
Wha, good tip about hosta liners, I was asking about the Delphs. They have a really bad rap around here...funny, in my early gardening in the Hamptons, they blamed the hot, dry but humid spell in August for their inability to survive the winter. Here in CT, it's always slightly cooler-- we can't grow good full size tomatoes most years-- but maybe the damp does them in? And you're in Mass... I would think the problem would be throughout most if not all of the northeast.
Gorgeous Robin! Love the JI!!!!!!
1.......2.....3.....4.... I declare a slug war!!!
LOL!
Pffftttt..!!!!! Oh, yeah!! Game on
was pruning the Weigela and felt something wet on my toe, thought it was a rain drop...looked down and a little bitty slug was crawling on it...ewwwwww
