So glad it was good news Debbie, know just how worried you all were.
Do not rush tonight, although I joke I've no patience I've plenty, tomorrow is another day.
Was trying to figure out if I wanted to go outside and do some yard work..guess I'm not because I hear bath running, guess I made my choice. If I wake up might go downstairs and quilt, need something to take tomorrow to work on. Suzanne has appt in the morning so means I cannot take the seeng machine out..best I remember I do work
Ooh here is Greg
Best/Worse/What did I learn today??? Chat with friends
Thunder, that is a great find on the chairs! Hope hubby can get results, and an easy fix for his eyes.
Betty, her son is in Washington state.
Debbie, glad to hear the good results for your daughter.
I might have to go for a ride. Something happening in town as the Sheriff ...two cars...just went flying down and a state police! We are so far
out State police very rarely come in unless something up.
Hope obody you know Debbie...keep us posted!
Hate it when one of the kids is out and you hear sirens..runs the blood cold.
Greg was here for a bit..called him yesterday asking info on the quilting foot ie welding the arm wire that broke..he said he would come after work last night, didn't see him.
When he got in first thing he says, hard to do things for you when you are in bed and don't answer the door..oh oh
Then asked to see the piece, oops the new one June picked up today was on the table, went in my bag to get the broken one, well got the whatdore again, here he came over to fix and I'd already spent good money ($50.00) because I couldn't wait a day! Shakes his head.
Told me he and Melanie went to Buckhorn on the spider Saturday, Jeff was kayaking so they had a lovely visit, Jeff even took them out for supper..told Greg he'd have to buy a sidecar for me. How did I know he'd say it was one way to keep me still. Lol
How is his ankle doing?
Still has a slight limp, if he would stay off it likely would heal quicker.
Frustrated,frustrated and more than frustrated..
So worked up I cannot sleep..remember my saga re husqvarna I bought at Christmas that had major problems?? Fought with dealer and finally in march they gave me a new machine ( I personally think it was floor model ) well a few times when I turned it on, power light comes on but machine does not..dead as a door nail, a few hours later try again and it comes on..well not this, time, wanted to,quilt last night and no go, went downstairs awhile ago, no go..have that wedding quilt to finish..nothing like throwing money out the window..warrante must
Be done in USA not Canada..problem is by the time I bring it to,buffalo, leave it, pick it up I could almost buy a new one..I am not a happy camper
Oh no, sorry to hear your having problems with your machine! I would call the company and give them the what for!
Go to their Facebook page and file a complaint!
https://www.facebook.com/HusqvarnaVikingCanada
This is for the Canada support page.

morning,
remember LindaKay, they say they don't care, worded it that I should have spent my money in Canada last time I called when the bobbin unit fell..gave me a new machine so they said and now this..I am as I said frustrated!
I don't blame you for being upset. I know your car is going to be full when you take your vacation, but I would pack that machine and take it back to the US store, and tell them to fix it or shove it! Let them know how upset you are! Demand to see the manager of the store too!
Called, Canada says too bad, call USA and they will have district manager call.
I will call husqvarna in Midland to see if it's major or just a glitch in wiring then will take a big loss and trade it in
Sorry you are having problems with your machine Betty... mine has been fantastic , and as far as I know , Jaye has not had any problems ....
I think I would be a bit more proactive than that Betty...I would demand a refund....plus shipping costs. Go to the top....the results are faster and they work harder to please you.

Please watch, this will make you smile!
ROFL Maybe I will do that on plants in DHs garden and freak him out! LOL
LOL! Have the video camera ready!
Lol, did you do it Lindakay?? Poor Todd!
Debbie, thank you for the photo's..likely ill not be stateside before July 4th, always 2014.. Adorable
Think the Elvis notepad is an omen for you to drive over for the Collingwood Elvis Festival
Joycem how is Bill doing?..
Wonder what happened to our Susan and Janice??
Katie should be enroute now, feel better when she posts that she arrived safely.
I went back and checked...Susan said they were going to be camping June 16-21.....but didn't see any posts from her in the last couple weeks....
Hmm wondered seeing as things were difficult for she and Bob if they've had to let Internet lapse for a bit, either that or perhaps her mom is not well..
Hard going through hard times, perhaps she just needed a break!
Just received a reply from husqvarna
We spoke on the phone earlier today in regards to your Viking Sapphire 835
that you purchased from Viking Sewing Gallery #718. I have heard back from
the Area Manager, and she states there are a few paths you may take. You
can take your machine to an authorized Viking dealer in Canada for the
repair of your machine. They can perform the repair, but it will not be
covered under warranty. You can drive to your closest Viking Sewing
Gallery in the United States; this way you do not need to go all the way
back to Florida, and any Viking Sewing Gallery can send the machine to be
serviced under the warranty. Your other option is to send your machine
directly to our service center in Titusville, FL. If you choose this
option, any repair done under warranty will be covered, but you will be
responsible for shipping to and from the facility. If you choose to send
the machine to Florida, please let us know so that we can make the service
center aware of the machine's impending arrival. I have included their
address below for your convenience:
2469 Cheney Highway
Unit 104
Titusville, FL 32780
Sorry to hear that Betty.
Debbie, did you ever figure out what all the cop cars were doing?
I replied to the email..
Told them with the experience I've had with them that I would make it my mission to advise others of the service a company as large as theirs offer, as well, if I have to pay as much for repairs as the machine is worth (2nd time) that I might as well put it on display somewhere stating the machine is "throw away friendly"
Good for you!
Suzanne dropped in with her granddaughter who asked if she could pick flowers..she went on to tell me that flowers are to be picked so little girls can give them to their moms, they say I love you! Guess who went home with a handful of flowers.
Speaking of little girls, I will have Kylie all day tomorrow from 5:30 a.m. on. Don't know if these old legs can chase a 2 year old!!! LOL
Awe Debbie - that will be wonderful for you to have Kylie !
Betty you stand your ground! Agree with Jean !
LK - That was hilarious !
I am home alone!!! Belle is bored. Hubs gone all week. Son AWOL.
OH! My first ever plumeria bloomed! 3 of the many buds bloomed....will wait to see what it does to send a pic to you all.... what joy :o)
HUGS
Mary
Betty, I came here to say hi to Mary!! Hi Mary!!
Lol.. surprise to see you on FB!
But then I'm reading you're having problems with your Sapphire 835? I have the same model too, and have no issues with it.
It's an upgrade from the Viking Emerald that twice while still under warranty, had to be brought back to the shop. I'm blessed to have a good dealer.
That's a lot of bull**** to me, Betty...a Viking is a Viking, and the warranty should be recognised anywhere in the world!!
Hello Cookie.. Debbie.. LK.. Cody.. Jean...Thunder.. and Mary!
Hey Jaye, glad to see you jumping around DG!
Waving Hello to Jaye / Heavenscape ! Nice to see a DG Friend on FB! Jump on in Jaye! We have a lot of fun and hugs on Betty's blog here !
RE: That hidden ginger... I pulled up some of the "volunteers" and potted them to bring to my sister next weekend my "HIghschool reunion" weekend in Ft walton beach. We had a nice hard rain today and it's really doing well.....
What do you like to plant in NC ?
Hugs
Mary
Good morning everyone!!
Yep, up early as Kel has an OOT class this morning. Got to feed him a good carbo dense breakfast.
Thanks Mary!
I've been popping in and out of Betty's threads for years now! Do lurk at times, and will speak when I think my opinion may help.
As I told Betty years ago, I love her writing style, whereas I'm less 'fluid'. When I first started on DG, MidSouth and Betty's were the threads I frequent.
There were some zany characters then! Not including Liz and Judy of course!
As to your query on what I grow. Check out my FB pictures, you can see some of the survivors!
Your sister I'm certain, will welcome the volunteers!
Betty, I'm truly disappointed with the dealer that you're not getting help with your 835. North America sales should include Canada, right?
I do hope you can get it resolve without costing you extra $$$$. But if I know you, you must have a couple of back up sewing machines that you can use for now.
I'm enjoying mine with its extra large throat bed and the auto tension.
Couple of misses are the thread cutter that cuts the thread a tad too short and the auto presser foot lift. There should be a manual presser foot lifter, which will make it much easier on needle positioning for appliques or when using one of those fancy stitches.
Enjoy your morning coffee ladies. Have a wonderful Thursday!
A few currently blooming daylilies in my garden.

Morning all, what a glorious day out there, sunshine and good humour..good humour comes from me..not wasting time with negative thoughts, sewing machine is just that a sewing machine, not the end of the world, what happens to it I don't know but not going there! I no doubt believe the machine is everything one would want, I've just had the misfortune of having problems.
Jaye, thanks for dropping in, look at those pretties, don't you love a morning walk in the gardens to see what sprung up to say hello and brighten up the day?
Mary you need to post some of your garden photo's. Can see you are counting the days..how's Ms Witchipoo doing since her vacation, put her in a better mood??
Suzanne is working from home today, time I get that sewing machine out. My goal is to put together from all leftovers of yellow and blue that I've done several quilts in to form a backing for my last top, that way I can say goodbye to that box of colored scraps
few photo's from my garden this morning
the white tree blossoms have such a fragrance, can smell them througout the back yard
Don't you love 'sweet williams' they pop up in masses of pretty color, all different
Each day I'm blessed, sat having coffee this morning looking at the back yard, much more to do, lots of ideas but for now it's my paradise
Those are lovely. I particularly like the Mock Orange (Philadelphus). When mine bloom they do indeed perfume the whole garden.
Mornin' everyone. Another day of errands trying to get Kim ready to leave for the Dominican Republic. I am tired would be an understatement at this point.
Visit with Mom was more stressful than usual; bu ,then I am not sure I wouldn't be as "grumpy" as she was if I had been flat on my back for 3 years. Mind is getting more confused now and she is very demanding of my sister. Hospice nurse did tell us that this is normal at this stage.
I am so envious of all these lovely flowers! There was no rain the 10 days I was gone....not a drop!!! Many of my plants succumbed to the heat and was so depressing to see when I got home. Started watering and some have perked up but not sure they will survive.......keeping my fingers crossed.
Betty, I am shocked with the treatment you have received with your machine.....I am like Jean, go to the top!!!
Mary, I am sure your sister will love the gingers. Lucky lady!!!
Jean, I bought a miniature a few years ago, likely one of my favorites, just wish their bloom would stay longer..I will be anxious to see if my ever blooming lilacs do bloom a few more times this year..seems they've taken their footing in the garden and are doing well.
Mom just called, seems Aunt Muriel is doing poorly..needs surgery but not the best chances of survival so it's a catch 22, do you go for operation or take your chances without..I'm hoping without!
She is on her way home from the city so I'll call tonight or maybe even drop in for a few minutes on my way home from work to check on her.
Got the, 'thank goodness for Kim (SIL) as she's the only one who seems to care if I'm dead or alive' could have started a good old fashion argument but I said 'is great that you have her' and bit my tongue!!!
Think with all the travelling you do re visits to see your mom perhaps you should container garden only, bring them inside, good watering before you leave and no worries that Mother Nature doesn't help out with rain.
I too think I'd be more than grumpy having but to lay down and complain, poor old soul, you got to wonder what the sense of it is?? I'm sure your sister is beside herself, trying to help and getting no thanks for it.
Once Kim leaves maybe you should put your feet up and enjoy a few days of quiet and rest.
Will be interesting to see if I get an e-mail back from Husqvarna after I wrote them a nasty reply to their e-mail??
ROFLOL oh Betty if I could just sit down and put my feet up when Kim leaves!!!! That is the time I will start sanding down the ceiling and walls in the dungeon getting it ready to prime before painting. Our new door came in yesterday so I need to call our contractor so he can pick it up and install. Making progress!!
Mom is what Sue (sister) refer to as a pity party........she has done this most of her life at times but more frequent now. So very much like my grandmother. Her sister (84) comes every week to spend 2 -3 hours with her but mom got on a really bad "swing" and hurt her feelings. Just the results of not being in control of your life I think. We just keep reminding us that under the circumstances we might be the same.
Gotta run.....Kim need to go to Bainbridge to get some items from her classroom to take to the DR with her. Later.........................
