Here come more Daylilies....
Pretty sure this is Russian Rhapsody and Canadian Border Patrol
SPRING 2013 #3
thank you!
Lovely. My DLs and lilies are only budding, taro and caladiums are only sprouts. Only one of the canna tubers from HD grew. This is the bloom period I am always trying to fill without adding annuals, but the hostas do look good. White campanulas and hardy geraniums are the best act. Seems everything I used to grow in this period is toxic. My question is whether to pull out all the wild comfrey. It will be thinned and weeded out from between the plants, but it blooms its heads off right now.
Wow, Celeste, my Russian Rhapsody and Canadian Border Patrol aren't close to blooms yet! Canadian Border Patrol is a real favorite in our house. The only DL blooms I have so far are the stellas.
Congrats, Allison! Your Christmas lights group sounds like a lot of fun!

For those of you with white Clems blooming now, what kind are they? I have Miss Bateman that is the first to bloom in the spring, and I want a later blooming one to go on the same shrub.
Ooh, what a pretty combination!
great combo RD!!
Thanks Robin
Gosh, how did I miss that those blooming DLs were Jens?! Maybe because I got my Russian Rhapsody from Celeste! LOL! Anyhoooo, very pretty, and blooms make more sense to me in NJ! Pretty Pixie blooms also!
RD, that is an awesome combo! It gives me a good idea.....thanks!
Glad to help!
