It's comforting to have some connection to the buyer. I think these transitions are huge if we acknowledge them.
Coffee Break # 95
I know exactly how you feel!
They are repaving our road and are currently grading it, they vibrated a pile of papers right off my desk
Power washing the house here. Splashy noise, but no vibration.
Wow - this doesn't end. Mother just called to tell me my aunt/godmother passed. She was 88, but one of my closest aunts. Stayed with her in FL many times. Breast cancer.
oh no.. sorry to hear that Victor.. hugs & prayers
So sorry for your loss, again, Victor. I am remembering your aunt and your family in my prayers.
Cheer up everyone.

nnnnoooo yorkie killers!!!
Thanks, ladies.
Sorry Victor, your year is starting like mine was last year.
Very sorry to hear about your aunt's passing, Victor.....hugs to you all. Jo, that hawk is so cute.....I like red-tails, they eat snakes!
Sorry to hear that Victor (((♥)))
Thanks, all.
Oh Dear, Victor. You are right...it just seems to be more than any one family can imagine. Just as with Celeste, I hope it helps to know that so many friends care about you both and keep your families in prayers.
Ronnie, I'm glad you have positive feelings about the new owner. That helps!
Sorry to hear, Victor...88 IS a good long life
Right there with the thoughts and prayers, Victor. There will be trees planted in commemoration here at the Valley this spring.
My father passed away last fall, just short of 91 years. His older sister (and my aunt) just departed in late February - at 98. Even though there was no trauma involved as they slipped the bonds of this life, it is still sad to no longer have those energetic and learned elders with us.
Let our gardens be rejuvenating joy in their memory.
Sorry about one more death in the family, Victor. It is difficult when it seems to be a series.
I think redtails do in the squirrels as well, or at least a chipmunk or two.
traveling for work and got a call from the wife - the power strip I use for the seed starting in the basement blew up and fire department came - jgood thing it was on the basement floor. blew a hole right through the power strip. no damage to the home.
check all your power strips and make sure they have surge protection!
these were new a couple years back and "looked" safe.
good idea
Wow....good thing Cindy was home!
YIKES
Yikes is right could have been a disaster, glad it wasn't!
oh wow.. that's not good.. so glad she was home
OH my! Thank goodness she was home!!
I've always been afraid to leave mine on when not home, so might have to stop now
Thank you, all.
I appreciate that, vv.
Oh my, Victor. Please add my thoughts and prayers as you mourn your aunt's death. Very difficult spring!!
Wha, so glad there wasn't much damage. A good reminder for us.
I don't even leave my dryer running when I go out
Nor the washer....I do run the dishwasher, however...probably shouldn't.
We always stay home when big appliances are running. Don't have things like seedling threads.
Wow, Bill! So happy it didn't turn out badly! It must have been very upsetting for Cindy! I will have to check ours when we are in N H!
She's adorable!
Scary for Bill about the seed heater. I've been thinking of using one to keep the camellias warm next winter in their shelter. So the key is to have a surge suppressor? I thought they all had them now.
Sympathy and prayers still for Victor's family. It's awful when we lose close relatives under any circumstances.
too cute!!!
OMG that smile just made me happy!!.. I wanna play too!!!
I wanna play, too!!!
Leah is adorable! That smile could brighten anyone's day!!!
:-)
I need to fix Leah up with Domenic!
