Coffee Break # 95
Thanks!
A year already? Happy Birthday Leah! Love the MM theme! :)
Happy birthday, Leah!!!!
My daughter Tiffany & I are running in support of the hospital that took care of baby Adam. It has the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital as part of it, any donations are welcome. It will be in July so plenty of time, even if it's only $2...it will help.
Thank you.

Thanks for the link, Pixie.......
Leah is a beautiful baby, Debi! The cake and your cookies are amazing! They look good enough to eat. 😜
We opened up the farm this past weekend. No phone or internet yet. Hopefully this coming weekend. We have no cell signal there, so it felt pretty isolated. It was great to get most of the beds cleaned out and ready for the rain before we left last night. We had tv, so we spent an awful lot of the time glued to the search for the suspect in Watertown. It was such a relief when he was caught.
Can I request some prayers be sent out for Victor and his family.. having some tough times
Absolutely!!!
Glad you were able to do the 'opening up' without a hitch, Louise
Already on it!
Prayers being sent, have been thinking of him. Miss his post. :(
Welcome Home Louise!

Remembering the family in prayers.
Have been praying daily for them......Louise, glad you opened up in NH......I usually go up to Mascoma on Memorial Day, but Suey has her chemo on Fridays, don't want to leave her in a kennel & expose her to who knows what.....
Yes, prayers for Victor's MIL and his dear wife and their whole family. They've really had a tough time, and I miss his posts and humor. Sending you all hugs and prayers, Victor!
What a good Mom you are, Marilyn! I know this is very tough, and I'm happy Suey is handling the chemo well so far. Prayers for you both cintinue as well!
Just dropping in....going off-com for a bit again. All is well!
Thanks, Louise.
Thanks for the welcome home, Celeste! Looking forward to having phone and an internet connection to do some catching up on everyone! 😘
Praying Victor, hope you're back with us soon

Well, we need him back with us......
Definitely!!!
Hey guys. Thanks for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers. Been an awful few weeks. MIL passed away last Thursday in the early morning. Wake was Sunday and funeral Monday. Week before we lost our 48 yr old friend. She lost a long battle with cancer and leaves three teen kids. She was the physical therapist I went to a number of times. Great lady. Week before that my friend's mother passed. Could not make either of those wakes/funerals because of my MIL's condition.
Wife is holding up but obviously very upset. For the best since she suffered so much, but the finality always makes it tough. She would have been 70 in August.
Slept a good chunk of yesterday simply from mental/emotional exhaustion. But today re-joined my hiking group and had a great hike. Helped clear my mind. Was a challenging hike and gorgeous day.
Happy to be back on DG. I appreciate all your support. Thank you!
Victor
We are happy to see you back. The finality is a real kicker. Hugs to you and yours. Glad you were able to get in a hike to recharge.
so happy you are back.. and had a good soul cleansing day.. always a big help.. we are always here for you!
Good to hear from you, Victor, and know how hard the loss is to your wife, despite knowing it was for the best. It is so hard to lose a parent, no matter how old you are. Sorry to hear about your friend's death as well. You have had way too much sadness, so glad you could get out for a nice hike today. How are your boys doing with all of the deaths surrounding them?
Best yo you, victor.
Came back this morning from my sleep test. That is the end of those. they don't put masks over your face any more, but attach electrodes with sticky stuff. I can do without another one.
Thank you. Boys are doing okay. Older guy took it much harder.
Glad your back Victor! Love how nature can help heal our hearts. I hope the boys are okay, hard to lose a grandparent at there age, just old enough to really feel grief and understand. Prayers for all of you.
hugs for you and your wife, Victor
Sympathy and prayers for continued healing for all the families and children. As I get older age 70 seems young.
70 does seem real young. Sympathies to you and your family. Hugs all around.
My sincere condolences Victor, but it's nice to have you back.
Thanks, ladies. I appreciate it.
Hugs & prayers for all of you, Victor......70 is way too young, & 48? Awful......My grandson turned 5 a few days ago.....he was almost 2 when my DH passed, & I never thought Grant remembered him....yesterday, Grant was playing with a basketball & I told him he was just like his Grampy......Grant said Grampy used to visit me here when I was a baby....now he's in heaven...blew me away because Grant has never mentioned Doug before.....
Wow. Amazing what they remember.
Still its nice to have such a memory--most seem to start memories around the age of 4.
