Nice to hear good news :)
I had a much easier day today. It's what they pay me to evaluate when all else fails. I sometimes have the option to encourage a judge to hold a person in jail. I think the early career mental health professionals have it the hardest because they are often in the front line with less experience or training, and judges have hard jobs too. I just wish the media would take the PTSD and acute stress disorder aspects of recent events more seriously and get some of the national experts before a camera to explain what to expect. Of the excerpts of speeches today archbiship O'Mally cautioned that violence is not a a productive response to trauma. Seems too obvious, but this has to be said clearly.

I like being surprised, too, but as my son says we were surprised, too, but sooner rather than later. . Heehee
I changed my avatar!

Love your avatar, Martha! If you rub his tummy do you get bigger blossoms?
I figure my DH and the Toro Dingo have to be mine. They're my garden heros.
Nice comment Rosemary.
I am not sure, but he was living in a botanic garden in Florida. So maybe it's so.

Hope all our Massachusetts folks are OK this morning - just seeing all the news from overnight.
yes please be safe all
At least Lexington, upon the advice of the FBI, cancelled the second amendment rally and the counter demonstration scheduled for today in the town green. Considering the Waco anniversary it had made me nervous anyway.
I wonder what their pals think?
I cant believe these 2 guys are loners.
Went to a concert in Boston last night, the MV's were every where...they made their presence known. Got in and out of there before the madness started up again, feeling very blessed this morning.
Four courthouses in the lockdown region are closed until further notice. My office is in one of them. I am hoping to stay home today until #2 is caught. It was a tough decision to go to bed at 11:30 last night. I would very much like it if I or one of my colleagues gets the chance to interview this suspect in lockup today--ie because he is caught soon.
I'm glad your safe @ home Rosemary :)
Glad you got out of Boston OK also, Celeste. My town is not listed in the lockdowns, but the town has closed offices.
Guess I need to check out the news. I have no idea what is going on. Later
Boston is not the place to be right now, but my son's FIL had to get there yesterday for business.....glad you had no problems, Pixie.....Rosemary, glad your town has shut down, just too scary with one guy still running around!
YIKES! I had no idea. Praying this guy is found quickly!
MY DD friend lives in Watertown, he had the FBI come in and search his home!! He said they are taking NO CHANCES!
Stay safe y'all!!!!!!!!! Hope they catch him soon
hope they catch the second brother soon and he is also DOA, although it would be good to understand if there are others.
Not easy to shut down a city as large as Boston. He may have friends who are hiding him & pray that the Watertown policeman recovers.
Jo, that's awful about your neighbors being robbed. Happens everywhere these days.
I heard there was a girl from the Sandy Hook Elementary who was in a restaurant where the windows were blown out from the blast. Poor girl freaked out. Can't blame her. I can't imagine how traumatizing that must be for her, being a survivor/witness to two horrible tragedies.

Their uncle was right to call them losers....just not comprehendable.....
yeah but did you see the comment from the father?
he doesn't know his kids very well.
Thank God it's over.
Amen!!!
Glad that is over
Good night's sleep, although it looks like the Boston police will have their hands full tonight.
The family all seem to be forming a circle to protect their good name. The uncles call for him to surrender and apologize was impressive.
Thankful he is caught!
some pretty bloody pics on twitter of them
Awful how just two young men can hold a city like Boston & the surrounding suburbs "hostage".....loved seeing the folks outside cheering & clapping for the emergency workers & police.......
Oh happy day, Debi! I think Leah knows she's the belle of the ball with all the wonderful party trimmings. Love those cute little cheeks.
She is a cutie pie....and a lucky little girl to have such nice parents & grandparents!
looks yummy... hope you had a great party

Happy Birthday, Leah!
