Thanks, guys......still praying for her.....9 more treatments to go........

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

Nine more times then to send a healing message on behalf on Suey. I feel like I know that doggy gal.

Thomaston, CT

Make that 8 Rosemary, she had a treatment today! Next week is the very toxic one......I feel she developed the UTI from it, but her vet wants her to try it again......

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

That's great news Marilyn! I will continue to pray for her. We all just want her to get better.

Karen

Thomaston, CT

Thanks, Karen....she's really perky lately....

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Glad to hear that. :)

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

My stray is in the hospital. God Bless my vet - she took us in without an appointment. I apologized to everyone in the waiting room whose appointment was delayed. He managed to scratch the Vet Tech before they knocked him out. I warned them, but still felt bad.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Hope he's okay, so good to have a great vet!

Thomaston, CT

I hope the kitty will be fine....let us know.....

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Sorry to hear that Memory, hope kitty is OK!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Got a call from the Cat Hospital and it seems that the problem resolved itself. Thank goodness becasue the next step in diagnosis was going to be very expensive! He should be home tonight.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

That's good to hear!!

Sitting hear crying since I really think it's time to say goodbye to Abby, she now has yet another UTI and that I am presuming is from the medrol shot last month since she had them on the steroids before. One problem helped causes another.

(((((hugs)))))

South Hamilton, MA

So sorry Ronnie. Difficult but probably best for Abby.

Thomaston, CT

Ronnie, it's just an awful decision to have to make.....Memory, glad your situation is better. Suey couldn't have chemo today, her white cell count was too low, but only time will solve that.

South Hamilton, MA

As you all know, always what is best for the dog, or in a couple cases with us, the horse.

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

Abby knows you love her whatever you decide is right, Ronnie. So sad to contemplate goodbye.

Glad for Memory and Marylin.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

So sorry Ronnie. Very sad to know you have to say goodbye soon. She's had a good life with a family who loves her.

Memory, I'm glad the problem with your stray was resolved.

Marilyn, I hope Suey will be ok.

I took Patches and Jerry for quite a long walk on the Plymouth waterfront and downtown this past Sunday with my friend Gretchen. We had a great time.

A 'SPECIAL PLACE'

You have a special place Dear Lord
that I know you'll always keep
A special place reserved for dogs
when they quietly fall asleep
With large and airy kennels
and a yard for hiding bones
With maybe a little babbling creek
that chatters over stones.
With wide green fields and flowers
for those who never knew
about running freely under
Your sky of perfect blue.
Lord, I know You keep this Special Place
And so to you I Pray,
For one Special Bulldog
Who quietly died today
She was full of strength & love
and so very, very wise.
The puppy look she once had
Had long since left her eyes.
She is dearly missed my Lord
By a very good friend of mine.
She went to join her ancestors
To Your land that is Devine
So, speak to Abby softly please
And give her a warm hello.
She's a Special gift to you Dear Lord
From the Roberto's, who loved her so.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Thank you all so much! Today is harder than yesterday...strange to sleep last night without having to get up to let her out. Never thought I'd miss snoring!

Rest in Peace, sweet Abby. Her picture brought tears for your loss.

Thomaston, CT

Ronnie, I am so sorry....she was a member of your family, loved & cared for.......she'll be waiting over the Rainbow Bridge.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Sorry for your loss of your dear Abbey, Ronnie. She was well loved and appreciated and cared for. You'll see her again someday.

Karen

Durhamville, NY(Zone 5b)

I'm sorry for tour loss Ronnie.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Thanks so much guys♥

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

I got a really nice hand written sympathy card from the vet today, made me sad but better at the same time that I made the right decision.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

You did make the right decision. You didn't think about how much it would hurt you - you thought about how much Abby hurt and gave her freedom from her pain. That is love.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Thanks Memory

Thomaston, CT

It's so hard letting go, but you know Abby was suffering.....you did the right thing for Abby.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Thanks Marylin, I know I did but at times I feel like maybe just one more thing would have worked for her. It's the first time in 14 years we didn't have 3 dogs in the house.

Thomaston, CT

Yes, there is a hole left, that's for sure.....the Danes must miss her also.....

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Oh my gosh, this is so adorable!
