Friend is making strawberry-rhubarb pie for our picnic tomorrow....
It looks wonderful! Good job, Pixie....
oh yeah it does!!!
Made a meatloaf for Mom today, along with mashed sweet potatoes & creamed spinach....she looked at the spinach & said it didn't look edible....I finally managed to get her to eat a few spoonfuls......she's rail thin, her aide says she only wants to eat egg salad & applesauce.
DW made Orange Chicken (not Chinese style), I made Teriyaki veggie stir fry with peanuts and mung bean noodles.
Sounds very good, Don. I made meatballs for my son's family, then ate leftovers back home.
DHs friend fed exed us another Carnegie deli corned beef sandwich, I took at least half the meat off before serving and DH didn't even notice.
LOL, yeah no doubt those things are HUGE
Tacos and rice and beans
Corned beef is why I can't be a vegetarian! Have no idea what to make tonight except a salad.....
steak & bacon makes me a carnivore!!

Chicken stir-fry with PakChoi, Tatsoi and Michili from the garden over rice.
Robin: we must have the same cooking muse prompting us!
I agree, Don. Had to use the asparagus from the garden, so I did....it turned out pretty delish. Today, I'm heading for the Thai restaurant in Torrington.

Cooked steaks on the grill, first time this year. The grill blew off the deck during an earlier windy day and DH just got it back together.
Change in plans, never got to the Thai place....went to a diner instead, but it was good.
Baked taters, NY Strip steak marinated and grilled and I fear the last of the fiddleheads until next May. :(
Brownies for snack.
Yep, sad when the crop goes...that's how I feel about yellow cherries....
whoa, your grill flew off the deck???? that must have been some wind!
It's a small grill and the wheels weren't locked, but there were big gusts that day.
Relatives visiting: Lasagna, garden salad, granddaughter made cookies.
I love lasagna!
Pork loin
We went to a casino here in Maine...went to eat mostly. ^_^
