Thanks!

Durhamville, NY(Zone 5b)

Nice looking dogs. Do they let you set on THEIR couch?

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

LOL Doug, not too often!

Thomaston, CT

They are handsome boys! And the reason Suey got a toy was because she carried...then chewed....Oliver's toy....Ollie is my son's dog & I take Suey up to the farm every week on the day I babysit....I thought it was time she had her own!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

I used to have one of the unstuffies for Abby when she was younger, she got very possessive of it. I think she thought it was real!

Thomaston, CT

Suey loves her fox, but she's not possessive....she'll give anything up to me including any kind of food....she's very good-natured.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Abby's was a fox too, she will give it to me but will not share with the other dogs.

Thomaston, CT

Smart girl!

This was posted in the Pets Forum and I thought that I would share. Simon (cat) is the writer, Mitzi is his "sister", DaiseyMae is his internet girlfriend and Tigger is the elder cat in the family. The elderly couple who have these cats live in (very) rural Georgia.

Well yesterday we had a little xcitment.Mitzi she go out, and no body wanted her outs, but she slick, and gots out anyways.Momma worried daddy bout Mitzi being outs, "she gonna be sick"but old Tigger he sleep.Baggy, he be on top of the car, and Mable, the chicken she up dar wiff him, momma has a duck, and daddy wents out to get Mable down, and as he open de door, mitzi rushed in tween his foots, and turned loose a large chippy monk .Tigger he still sleeps.Mitzi try to cotch him, and I tried to cotch him, but Tigger still sleeps.Momma bugged daddy bout getting the chippy monk out fron under the dish washer, and daddy say he can't, and Tigger still sleeps.Me 'n Mitzi try all evening to cotch em, and it would slip back under de dish washer, and wes would both trys to cotch em, daddy say day sounds lik theys "scratching for a rap song", momma didn't catck on, and Tigger still sleeps.
Old Tigger was having a dream about Daisy May, finaly Tigger gots up, and went to de food dishes, and the chippy Peeped outs, all us went back into de living Rm., and nobody saw what went on in de kitchen, but old Tigger comes outs wiff the chippy in his mouth. The chippy was dead when he sot it down, and daddy prais him bout being a good hunter, and getting de chippy without a sound.Well I gonna be as good a hunter as Tigger, when I gets a little xperence, yo just watch. Simon

Tigger had a front leg amputated after he was shot (I told you this was very rural Georgia) and he was this couple's first inside cat. He also wakes the man up at night to put more logs on the fire they heat the house with.

My "kid" Hooper is on the left and one of his best friends is in the picture with him. He is the best company a person could ask for. Quite a character.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Good looking dude!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

hi Hooper & BF!

Thomaston, CT

I've had it with the senseless violence .....some jerk here in CT bashed a car with a baseball bat because he didn't like the bumper sticker!

Durhamville, NY(Zone 5b)

Hooper and his friend are good looking labs.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Cyrus went to the vets yesterday for his yearly checkup, he is healthy as a horse! He weighs 86lbs now and still has another 6 months of growing before he reaches 2 years old. Hopefully we stay under the 100lb. mark, I would like to have that 15lb leverage on him. ^_^

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Wow big boy!!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Not as big as your Danes and im grateful for that! LOL
I went from 107lbs. to 116lbs. in a year.....I thought i'd better start gaining as Cyrus sure was!!!!!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Yeah I lost leverage on Winston quite some time ago!! I swear I won't catch up to him!

Thomaston, CT

Suey is 48 pounds, & she's strong on the leash....four feet on the ground!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Ha ha ha!! I don't think i'd want to!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I outweigh my cats by zillons! Wait. Did I just actually write that down? *erasing*

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

lol

Graham, NC(Zone 7b)

I have some weight on Hooper, but his exhuberance regularly does me in. He has taken my feet out from under me, hit me in the back with his "superman" dive and caused me to have to go to the chiropractor, about knocked me out and made me see stars when his head came up and cracked me under my eye. Thank goodness he knows who the Alpha person is in the household! I can't get mad at him for being so darn happy, though.

South Hamilton, MA

Because of the weather tomorrow, very glad that we don't have a dog wishing to go out. ☺

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

So far of all the Dane's I've had Winston is by far the strongest. Yeah I'm getting weaker but dang he is strong. Have to touch wood though I haven't been knocked down by any of them. If I hear them running I hold my place and they actually go around me. My GDs learned to do the same thing.

Just trying to keep them occupied in the winter is killing me!! I actually hope we get some snow so they can go play in it. I'm going through bones like crazy $$$
