Sitting here in Jammie's sipping coffee looking at the patterns I bought yesterday
Then looking to my left at all the fabric I got when I first arrived for the runner and placemats I saw in a magazine...ohhh must be getting antsy to sew. Shall I or shall I just sit and enjoy another day?

Good Last Day of the Year!!

OMG, I am so over 2012 already...LOL, Debbie, did you celebrate New Years last night?? yepp want to know why you were up that late too. Hhaha, well we don't go anywhere for New years, maybe to dinner but thats not happening this year...Well watch the New Years around the world if were even up that late.

Well i been thinking about you all the last couple of days. Even sat and typed not one but 2 long posts and they just went Poof!!
Dianne, I hope you were able to get in your moonlit walk on your birthday...All i could do was smile and wave to where it should have been, it was very cloudy and laiden with snow!! Also, we didn't have a fire as i wanted to, Babe and i didn't get home till almost eight, we ate and crashed! But tonight, We will have that fire...I will offer prayers and then we will just enjoy it, well that is the plan for the moment...
I tried to answer your Question several times, but had a losing streak on that, so try again!! LOL,..No Jacob didn't make us a special Christmas Breakfast as usual, All his buddies are in town for break from College so he went off to visit them. But We have a promise a breakfast for the New Year!!

My man has been in a rather foul mood the last couple of days!! I swear it must have been that full moon, since like everything he did, just was not working for him...We went to paint that condo, which I was not to paint but Clean the kitchen and bath, grrr, anyway we were making excellent time on getting other things done, We got to about 5 minutes away when he realized he forgot the keys, its a 45 minute drive. Ohhhh, good heavens so not good, rambled all the way back to where Jake met us with the keys...Yippeee for the boy getting his drivers License the day before...And thank you all for his congrats! That was just the start, so many things went wrong for him. I suggested maybe it was do to the full moon, hands on the hips, he tells me no its NOT a full moon, So I just shook my head and kept my mouth shut, not going to argue with him, even though I KNOW it was a full moon!!
LOL, he forgets that I watch the Moon phases all the time. And yesterday he was just full of the woas mes that i finally said, OH Myyyy God and left the room. Of course its always somebody doing something to screw him up, or he forgot something and blah, blah blah...So this AM he is back at the condo fixing things, LOL I reminded him of a bunch of stuff he needed. So that "D" man makes some huff and puff remark how he has to go get these things!! I said, well I am just reminding you because I DO NOT want your day to go bad, lol, if your day is bad then that turns my night Bad!! Well then he started cleaning out his van on Saturday...Yep can you guess its all in the Foyer, I have been going crazy trying to keep the crap out of. So i keep watching, sitting on the recliner as he hauls the stuff in! Earlier, i really enjoyed lounging reading, watching tv and didn't bother to get up and help...Earlier, we made arrangement to go out with friends, they were coming to meet up with us and So now says so what do think, the house look ok...Hands fly to the hips, Well the house WAS looking great!! Hahaha, that did it, now he tramping up and down the stairs with his stuff as I sit and watch, he says wow its alot of up and down the stairs!! Duhhh, I said well it all stuff, so you can haul it. And I did not feel badly about it either!! Just kept watching my shows from the recliner...We ended up going out to dinner with our friends, had a wonderful time.

Now, we did close on Huber, Thank Heavens that's over! But, of course the check that large is with held for 10 days...so i still wait, tired of thinking about it already, lol but this morning, I made of a list of what I need, supply refills, pay back my girls, and hehehe, not bad, I only owe 80 in cash, I also made a list of Clothing I need, which will come out of HIS money, lol and its not that much anyway, and the first thing is to get rid of this aching tooth once and for all, oh yeah, I need new glasses!! My list is much more reasonable then his wish list!!
And this morning he is in search for the next big project, so I really hope he finds it, lol my days can resume to some peace, ROFLOL, Today, I am creating my own Bill and i am going to tack on 2% late fee hahaha, will be in serious trouble and I Wont get it...but I'm in the mood for a challange just because he is such a grouch, and he rattled who he owes, etc and not even a mention of paying me, and Yep, I am a brat that way...Well the big clincher was his MOM fell again, sigh broke her wrist in several places, I'll not get myself in a tizzy, I'm really over them 3 arguing about stupid crap...He thinks she fell on purposes so he HAS to take time out to run her to docs, etc...Hello, its me and the kids who do this! So, I just get up and leave the area rather then them yelling at each other about listening to each other, my take...neither listen to each other, their conversations are just insane!!

Well for all of US Tomorrow is the new beginning of the Year. I hope that is less pain in health, loss and more triumphant everyday life for us all.

I do not make New Years resolutions, but will try very hard to be a better person!
We will gather here around 11 and bring in the Year with just us and a few of their friends, lol kids will probably have to wake us as we usually fall asleep on the couch...Jake will be a little upset as i hide my keys, no driving tonight, too many happy/sloppy drunks, not to mention cops will be out in droves!

LOL, anyone read the first Article of Gardeners New Years resolutions?? Very funny and so true.

Yay Linda Kay for feeling so much better!! Must be all the rest, you obviously needed...not to mention, rest is the most healing thing for your body...I agree go away sniffels for a nice evening tonight!
LOL, did I tell you I swear i must be allergic to Joyce!! Almost the minute I hugged her, my nose was dripy like i was getting a cold, I thought oh man, don't wanna be sick...But as soon as she left it all went away!!! just weird.

Debbie, I was wondering why you were up so late too. I am so glad you got all the things to make life easier!! That al by itself makes for a wonderful Christmas!! OMG, nice you all do the wish lists...I stopped that too because I never get whats on mine, so just surprise me, lol. And with this crazy family, you ask what they want and they say don't know!! But this year, i have got to say, i had mentioned a few things that i wanted and the kids actually did fulfill them...a few new tools and a cute extra, my very own little tool bag!! it was so cute, Sabrina said she never saw a Women be so excited over tools!! haha, i said you should see Betty then! I think the best was getting the Dremel like tool!! I love it and already put it to good use!! They were just adorable playing the lil elves, going shopping at all time of day and night! They made sure we had tons to open! And they even got DH and I each a TV table, we have dinner while watching our taped shows quite often, so that was such a thoughtful thing!
Julia gave me a gift card for the online book store! LOL, I have yet to browse and buy, woohoo 25.00 worth of books to download on tabby...and she gave each of us a cert. for a massage, nice...As for DH, we were really all set to not buy anything at the time...So Dh told me, he bought himself 2 new sweaters I should wrap and give to him and I should buy myself something and say it was from him! LOL...So I got myself a very cheap gift, well only cheap in cost, but so exciting a set of single dish pie tins!! I love to make pot pies and always buy the cheap throw always so now, i have a good set!! Still have to decide the fist pot pie I want to make and cant wait to do so!! So yeppers in answer to your question, My Christmas was wonderful, thanks for asking!!! Oh and this is so cute...Jacob was delighted to even remember Skittles, he got her a set of cats toys, balls with bell in them...She LOVES thrashing them around!

I have read all of everyones doings, so glad things are going well. i too have been kepping you all in prayer and good Spirits! I pray each have less sadness and good health and i Give many thanks for all of your support and am so excited to be able to come in the New Year and spend our days together!! For this past year, it was fantastic to see many of you and i can't wait for the coming another gathering to wrap my arms around you again!!

Judy - could you be "scent sensitive"? I know I am, and when around someone who has scented hand lotion, hair spray, etc, I stuff up, and don't clear up until about 20 min after the scent has gone away.
I know that having someone around with hand cream on will "set me off".

Quiet night planned here, hopefully a good night's sleep.Diesel is in my bad books tonight. He has started to counter surf and this afternoon while I was showering managed to scarf down a 1/2 lb of butter that I had set on the counter to soften. I was wondering why he wasn't right beside me as he usually does when I shower. The little devil!

A loyal DG member Ponditis needs your prayers tonight. She was taken to hospital via ambulance on Dec 23 and placed on life support. The amazing news is that she is at home tonight having turned the corner after being in an induced coma for a couple of days. She turned septic which the doctor's feel was the result of her dentist visit the week before. She is one lucky lady but still needs lots of positive thoughts and prayers.

Enjoy your evening everyone whatever you are doing. Thanks so very much for being there for me in 2012. While not wishing my life away I am so glad to see the end of 2012. Your support has helped me keep going.

For those going out to party, check with the AAA auto club, most of them offer free towing and ride home with in a certain distance!
Some local police will offer free rides as well.

Sunshine here, going to the beach this afternoon and then picking up Chinese food for supper.

This morning I put a Christmas runner top, batting and backing, pinned it and ready to try the quilting on the machine before it heads north. Enjoyable day although my thoughts keep wandering on years long ago..feel myself welling up, wipe a tear and move on to something else!

So hope we all get to meet sometime,someplace over 2013...you just never know when I'll pop up in your neck of the woods..

Trying to get up the energy to take Christmas down and put it away. Ugh...big job.

Joyce, mine is already done...come on ...slacker!!! (duck and running) OK, so my tree was 3 ft. tall....I am the biggest procrastinator!

My tree doesn't come down until I have time, next weekend! Gotta find out when the church tree is coming down........ with all the church decorations.

siiiiiiiigh found out yesterday that yet another of the plants in the sanctuary is gone - the large Christmas cactus. And of course the plant stand. Bob looked all through the church and in the garbage cans in case, like the two ferns, it was thrown away. Nada. The cactus had been there for many years, and bloomed beautifully. It was there on Christmas Eve, but not New Year's Eve during the day. This now brings to a total of items gone from the church:
Memorial plaque mostly filled with people's names in Living or Loving memorial;
2 large ferns & brass plant stands
1 large Christmas cactus & brass plant stand
1 "box step" for a short person to stand at the podium to say scriptures
1 stand for the Bible on communion Sunday when we need to move the Bible off the communion table
1 set of musical notes decorations for the choir to put on the tree
2 window's sets of curtains from the downstairs hall (There are 17 windows, with 3 panels per window, and now two are missing curtains)

My feeling is that someone is suffering from dementia and taking these things. I feel badly for them. One other Board member says I'm seeing "pie in the sky" when I worry about this person, rather than getting upset they're "stealing" from the church. I try to live the Lord's way, and I will still worry, although I am distressed someone is feeling they need to take things from the church for whatever reason........
Please help me pray for this person(s).
