Weather In Your Garden # 125

I never saw the ice balls before. Great idea to try to stick around the conifer pots in our yard.

My buzz is coming from a new Nespresso single serve coffee maker. You can use your own grind in the Coffee Duck pods, but I can't get that to work quite right. Meanwhile theirs taste great.

got about 6 or 7" here - out to snowblow the driveway and shovel the deck and front walk - then xcountry :)

Sunny here but 20* and high wind blowing snow off cedars and firs.

All together we got about 7 inches of powdery snow. Hurray for snowblowers!

25 and overcast. got 2" of snow yesterday. DH got called in @ 6am for snowplow duty at work. overtime!

Nice ice balls, Celeste! I want to try and do the ice candle holders. I would probably use the fake battery operated candles, though.

We only got about 2"-3" of snow here. It sure looks pretty, though. Sunny out today with some wind.

DH has been out with the snow blower. We must have gotten 4 to 6 last night. I am still in bed so I haven't been out, though I did get up yesterday for a couple hours and managed to organized all the Xmas stuff so the house is cleaned up. DH made a yummy onion soup for supper last night.. I feel like I have wasted a week and still under the weather. Looking at seeds today so not a total loss. Patti

We'll probably be taking down our Christmas stuff in a few weeks. We're never in a hurry to do that. Got it put up late this year, only 2 weeks before Christmas.

Crazy cold wind all day! 29 now, but wind chills in the teens.

No boats running today to Nantucket because of High wind. Not bad up here in Vt. Patriot game looks cold. Patti

we had a bunch of damage to the decorations yesterday deer, a star fell, and something else Randy said.. was I really supposed to be listening.. LOL.. oh well.. the wind was nuts

The deer have been closer to the house this year.They are a problem in a decorated area like yours.Did they stumble over stuff?
I find bent wire trellises,things like that plus the eaten hydrangeas.

Winds were awful last night....my walkway has drifted back in...more shoveling! High should be about 35 today, sunny...meeting my niece soon for breakfast.....

The high was 37 today....not much sun, but some of the ice in the drive softened enough for me to shovel it up.....

32 and snowing. DH just got called in again to snow plow.

Sunny and low to mid 30s today. Not much going on.

No new snow here. After grocery shopping I dug out my fleece gloves to replace the knit ones.

37 now and that's our high.. according to the computer

34° but an indoor day, watching the rose parade. Nothing else like it.

27 is the high for today, dropping down to 0 or below tonight.

Its 13* now. I am waiting for a warm spell like maybe 34-40 so there will be some melting.I am going stirr crazy with limited access to the outside.
I ordered some YAKTRAX to clip to my shoes.I lost one of my old pairs.My new ones will be GloGreen so I can se them in the bottom of the coat closet
