whole thing is bizarre on shooters end, and so sad for the victims.
Coffee Break # 89 The End of 2012
Seven houses burned.Local interview with a neighbor related she said she could hear the gunfire and someone knocked on her door, told her to get into the firetruck. They removed 33 people and put them on a city bus brought to the neighborhood, to keep warm. I dont remember when they were allowed to go back home and many didnt have a home when it was over.
I wrote a sympathy e-mail to me cousin Ron who is a Webster volunteer fireman. They must be just devastated. There is a funeral today in the HS Gym for the older fireman who had just come back from Hurricane Sandy and named Fireman of the year.
The 19 year old will have a funeral on Monday.
In my view, whatever judge or parole board, etc., who let this guy out after only 17 years, is equally responsible for these murders, and need to be held accountable.
There are going to be many issues revisited as regards the mentally ill.He was on Supervised parole that ended in '04.
The creepy part is,his mother died either this October or Last October and he sent kind words and I believe but am not sure there was a donation to W.Webster fire dept. They must have come when his mother was in extreemis This article was in local paper a few days ago.I forget some details.
I agree Victor. He should have received life.He must have had a really good lawyer. His original sentence was up to 25 years.

Since it was local I may have seen reports others haven't but I sobbed watching.
anyone who beats a 92 yr old woman to death should have life, not 25 yrs. Judges need to take a good look at sentances--yes he was mentally ill, but others in the same state need to be protected also.
Absolutely! He should never have been walking around!
I prefer death, but this IS NY. Second best is life with no chance of parole and forced labor.
Met my great nephew yesterday! Was so nice to hold a little baby. Even nicer to be able to hand him back when he starts to stink!
Heehee. I will agree to everything you said
Oh, yeah.....guess you have to be young to have kids....changing diapers has lost its charm!
I don't understand why that guy didn't get life of the death penalty for beating his grandmother to death with a hammer. Someone who does something like that should never be allowed out of prison again. Preferably should get sentenced to death.
My Dad took a fall at the nursing home the day before Christmas. My sister Hope was there when it happened. She met him at the hospital after they sent him there. He had x-rays done, but no broken bones. He was complaining a lot of pain in the tail bone area. Had more x-rays done there, but looks okay. We went to visit him yesterday, and he was really confused. Brought him some Christmas presents. Today was his 83rd birthday, so we brought him a big cake so everyone there could share in the celebration. He seemed much better today. Our brother even showed up, and it was nice to see him after so long.
Karen
Sorry to hear, Karen. Hope he feels better.
No death penalty here then. Even when we later had it, no one got it.
Thanks, Victor.
A shame about there being no death penalty there.
Karen
Karen I hope your dad is Ok.
Best wishes for your Dad.
The 2 firemen wounded in Webster ,have been upgraded to "stable"

Subject: Tough Christmas
Dear Santa,
How are you? How is Mrs. Claus? I hope everyone, from the reindeer to the elves, is fine. I have been a very good boy this year. I would like an X-Box 360 with Call of Duty IV and an iPhone 5 for Christmas. I hope you remember that come Christmas Day.
Merry Christmas,
Timmy Jones
Dear Timmy
Thank you for your letter. Mrs. Claus, the reindeer and the elves are all fine and thank you for asking about them. Santa is a little worried all the time you spend playing video games and texting. Santa wouldn't want you to get fat. Since you have indeed been a good boy, I think I'll bring you something you can go outside and play with.
Merry Christmas,
Santa Claus
Mr. Claus,
Seeing that I have fulfilled the "Naughty vs. Nice" contract, set by you I might add, I feel confident that you can see your way clear to granting me what I have asked for. I certainly wouldn't want to turn this joyous season into one of litigation. Also, don't you think that a jibe at my weight coming from an overweight man who goes out once a year is a bit trite?
Respectfully,
Tim Jones
Mr. Jones,
While I have acknowledged you have met the "nice" criteria, need I remind you that your Christmas list is a request and in no way is it a guarantee of services provided. Should you wish to pursue legal action, well that is your right. Please know, however, that my attorney's have been on retainer ever since the Burgermeister Meisterburger incident and will be more than happy to take you on in open court. Additionally, the exercise I alluded to will not only improve your health, but also improve your social skills and potentially help clear up a complexion that looks like the bottom of the Burger King fry bin most days.
Very Truly Yours,
S Claus
Now look here Fat Man,
I told you what I want and I expect you to bring it. I was attempting to be polite about this but you brought my looks and my friends into this. Now you just be disrespecting me. I'm about to tweet my boys and we're gonna be waiting for your fat ass and I'm taking my game console, my game, my phone, and whatever else I want. WHAT EVER I WANT, MAN!
T-Bone
Listen Pizza Face,
Seriously??? You think a dude that breaks into every house in the world on one night and never gets caught sweats a skinny G-banger wannabe? "He sees you when you're sleeping; He knows when you're awake". Sound familiar, genius? You know what kind of resources I have at my disposal. I got your shit wired, Jack. I go all around the world and see ways to hurt people that if I described them right now, you'd throw up your Totino's pizza roll all over the carpet of your mom's basement. You're not getting what you asked for, but I'm still stopping by your crib to stomp a mud hole in you're ass and then walk it dry. Chew on that, Petunia.
S Clizzy
Dear Santa,
Bring me whatever you see fit. I'll appreciate anything.
Timmy
Timmy,
That's what I thought, you little bastard.
Santa
good laugh at that!
best wishes for your dad Karen
Loved that, Bill.....Karen, Dad looks so much better in photo 2.....I know how hard it is to help him...my Mom can no longer tell us what's wrong, she just knows she's not well.....Jo, those poor people who lost their homes....this has been a horrible year for so many!
Hi all, hope you all had a better Christmas then we did
We are all sick. Hubby has bronchitis, son had the flu and has a double ear infection, me and my daughter are trying to fight off what they had, I was totally out of it for 1 full day, between chills and overheating but never had a fever, body aches, and exhausted but I am so much better now, at least I am vertical, still a little congested though. I do feel that elderberry was a HUGE help in figting off infection
So sorry that you guys were sick for Christmas, Jen! Hope you're all on the mend and will be able to celebrate a healthy New Year.
Bummer, Jen. My dad has the flu too. Parents could not come for Christmas. Wife prescribed Tamiflu and he is feeling better after one day. That stuff is amazing. I used it twice and it works so well and so quickly that you start second-guessing if you even had the flu!
sorry to hear you are ill jen - hope you and the family feel better soon.
Wow Jen so sorry to hear that, glad you are on the mend.
Funny Christmas letter Bill!
sorry for those who were sick. as senior citizens we had flu shorts from the town in Oct.
tim & santa really went at it, didn't they.
My dad has refused all these years. Now he says he will get it next year. He is 85.
My asthma Dr insists on it & the last 4 yrs DH has relunctantly gone along with his.
sports talk: I see that spoiled players on the Nets have made enough trouble to have their coach fired. Williams better become a complete point guard & Wallace caused trouble in the Celtics game by hanging on the Garnett's shorts. A momentary grab for balance perhaps, but one would let go not grab & make faces.
Happy Birthday to your dad, Karen!!,
Hope you and yours are feel in better, Jen
Victor, hoping your dad feels better quickly
Glad we didn't go to our niece's on Monday night. Several came down with the stomach virus. Certainly don't need or want that.
sheesh all our parents are beat up.. my dad has a stomach virus.. feel better moms & dads!!!
Sorry to hear of all the sickness! Flu shots help, but you can still get a mild case, or pick up a strain the vaccine doesn't cover....glad to hear the Tamiflu worked.....my Mom's night aide also had a double ear infection, & was sick over Christmas, but she's back to work tonight.....feel better, everyone!
My little guy has an ear infection too.
Back from Army hockey vs Russian Jr All Stars. Army lost 6-2. Russians were very chippy and took cheap shots.
Not surprised......sorry the little guy is hurting!
After shoving one Russian started swinging furiously. I had never seen that at an Army game. The ref actually had to tackle him. But then they throw out both players! Ridiculous.
There was an article in The Hartford Courant this morning about how physical Stanford's women's basketball team is....the writer said watch for bruises on Uconn.....I thought I was the only one complaining about the refs, how they could miss such flagrant fouls......apparently some don't see or care...don't know which......
Webster fireman shooting.
Something you might have wondered about but didnt ask.
How a fellon got guns.
He had a 24 year old neighbor who he took shopping at a gun store and chose what he wanted. She had the guns in her name.
She was just arrested .The punishment is 10 years. We will see how this plays out.
