That shoulder really sounds like a rotator cuff injury....you can have that right along with whiplash!! Whats the chance of getting into an orthopedic or sports injury doctor?

Next to nil Debbie..he did tell me if no great improvement after the new year to make appointment with him and we would go from there..

Good morning everyone. Made it back safely on Sunday with no big problems at the border - I think the guard who stopped me remembered me. He asked whaat I had and I said "Things for Christmas." He opened all the doors and saw two Santa pinatas and let me go. Got Mary's package. Thank you so much. I'm rushing around getting bows on all the stuffed animals and doing some minor repairs done. It's cold here - for Mulege. Probably in the forties or fifties. Time to get my heater out of storage. Tony is bundled up while packing things to rearrange the shelves in my storage room.

Getting my van unloaded from the trip and reloaded for Christmas.

In reference to the wedding, it will start at noon, and she will stretch it out so they say I do at 12:12 or as close to it as possible!

ENT visit on Mon. did NOT go well. I am very disappointed and discouraged. Two hour dentist apptment yesterday - all while I had the dizzies. I need some answers and soon. I do not like being in control of my life - not daring to drive some days is just almost too much to bear.

Betty you make sure you take care of yourself. No swinging with the young ones during your trip to Fla. On second thought that might be a great idea, might cure what ails you!! My heart just breaks for Ann..... her sorrow just keeps going on and on. I am glad she made it mover for Bingo. Its a wonder she is just not paralyzed with all that has happened to her this last year.

Katie, so glad you are home safely! You must be relieved that they did not search every inch of your vehicle..maybe it's a good thing to be friendly with the border patrol..you must be exhausted..You likely won't need to make that trip again until well in spring??

Sat and sewed what was remnants of the other blankets..I made it, Suzanne will wash it and we'll drop it off in one of the toy/present corners in the mall...just finished it with a minute to go..am sure some little girl will be comfy under this rag quilt!!

Just got home from the doctor and it looks as if I am headed for an MRI this coming Tuesday. He thinks I have "a some kinda tear with a something or else buckle". Possibly facing some surgery depending on what the MRI shows. Not exactly what I had planned for the holidays or start of the New Year. Oh well could be worse. The "kicker" stay off of my leg ...yeah, right! .....and who will finish doing the shopping for gifts, buy groceries and drive to see mom. Wait, Kim will do the driving. Now if I can only talk her into doing her own Christmas shopping.....NOT!

Marion that certainly isn't good news..perhaps you can shop on-line or give gift certificates,,am sure all want your health to be look after first. The government report came out today and in the health se ton it is said that 33 % of all MRI's are not the testing that should be done and that no input as to health issues is obtained from these MRI's..

Yeap Thunder, it is in my knee. It has reached the point I can't use the foot control to sew...pain is to bad.

Interesting about the report Betty. That is about all that is left to do to determine what has gone "haywire" with my knee. Well we shall know after Tuesday.

Still getting a slow steady bone chilling rain. Thank goodness I won't be venturing out for the next day or so.

Mary it is Thea's fault. Just kidding! But the first attack was the day I drove home after a wonderful weekend with Thea, Barb and their DHs. The only signal I get is my lips start to burn a fee hours beforehand. Weird eh?

MRI on Sat am 7 am. This was ordered by my Neuro Opthma last June.

Oh my LK outdid herself with ber parcel. I will come back later today to tell gou all what she sent. LK , Quill and Diesel love you!! I am having a cuppa right now.

Morning, ooops it's afternoon isn't it..

been sitting quietly, watching movies..got a bit tired of that so did sew borders on 2 of the runners I did this week just to have as extra's incase I forgot someone.guess you could say I'm mellowing out becausemy body is telling me I must...the meds thank the Lord have put a stop to the headaches but not the pain..pain I can deal with.

Gee whiz, a week tomorrow and I'll be on the road..where did the year go??

Greg and family leaves a week today for the Dominican, figures that it's the last year that both boys will be able to travel with them..Jeff, still not sure where he shall be , plans are in the works.

Betty, Court was last night at 7:00. DS was not happy we showed up but too bad for him! He is the one did wrong, now giving us silent treatment.

He has 80 hours community service, starting this weekend...Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 a.m. til the Sheriffs are done with him each day. Has to have
80 hours complete by Jan. 12. IF he does not show up or participate...he gets jail time. DH and I are OK with this, like it....and hope he learns. It is better than a $100.00 fine and done with it, because he won't learn anything from that.

Just got back from eye appointment. They are messed up again, but not as bad. Got it early and hopefully drops and new lens after Christmas will do the trick

Debbie, sorry, thought it was last night but going to bed early/early I've lost track of days..lol

I think doing community work is far better as well, as you say, hand them $100 and it's over NOT so much when you have to go in day after day. Guess he did not want you going because you would find out the truth.

Just spoke with my Godson Paul, need to meet up with him before I leave as I have the snowmobile dickie with hyde ready for him..he so wanted another..last one he got was 23 years ago..looks like the pitz but sure keeps him warm..we gab and he says how busy he is..he is construction manager for a big commercial contracting company, little time and yet he says he has time for him new interest..chainsaw carving..what would godmother want??? not trying to be greedy, I said (without thinking) just a little trinket, something you will do just for me, he started to laugh..Auntie Betty (he's the son of an Aunt I grew up with but I'm still Auntie Betty) I don't do small when I'm working with a chainsaw..lol says he got some of his artistic talent from me..I don't think so..his talent is one of a kind..

A few pictures I took from my trip. Dylan is getting so big, almost 9 months old already! He is learning how to clap his hands!

And Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Grunow! Very casual wedding. She wore her "pinup" dress, Andy wore his work clothes! pretty classy guy!

Come spring he asked if I'd go to his cottage..all the posts of the decking has a wood design of birds coming from it..will have to make a point of going.

Just went to Fabricland..drats, didn't I say a few weeks ago I was done?? now just doing things to make the time pass by..needed batting and few prints for bindings for the table runners I just finished.

He does nice work. My Paul would vote for an Eagle. The bird/owl perched in your gardens would be cute...coming off a perch between the flowers.
They say owls would scare the other birds away though.

I got more Christmas shopping done.. got Larry's prezzies.. and he found them before I wrapped em.. probably a good thing.. I though he liked Carpenter jeans.. but wow was I wrong.. so I exchanged them .... whew.. but he didn't see everything I got him.. ha !!

I looked to see if my Christmas exchange recipient received the package yet.. I sent it out over a week ago.. and though maybe she would post.. maybe she didn't like what I sent.. but hope that isn't the case.. Oh well, patience is not one of my virtues.. LOL

Larry wants me to follow him to town so he can get his Mercury detailed.. then my Elantra will get done after that.. and then I will put my car up for sale.. We filled the tank on the Elantra today, and I am a maniacal record keeper .. and looked and the last time I got fuel.. Sept. 30th.. So ... do you think I need that car.. ??? LOL I am paying more for insurance than I am for fuel.. I use the Mercury when I am able to drive.. and lately with my nasty Sciatica.. not doing much of that at all.. So, reckon I will put it up on Facebook and Craig's list.. and put it in the front yard with a for Sale sign on her..

Anyway, since I got to get up early in the am.. I am now off to bed.. Later ladies..

we went on a motorcycle ride many years ago, and stopped at a little country dive to grab a drink and sandwich...there was a guy there carving ice blocks with a chain saw!! he did an eagle on top of a beer can !! it was really cool

Our Crissy did and even in the hardest of times she sent me a box of smiles and treasures..smiles were knowing they would be ear to ear when I opened the box..glad I had just boiled water for coffee and too chelsy buns out of the oven..

Where is my camera, must go find , sit for a few minutes to calm down then will open my box..

Not much happening down south.....trying to be a really good girl until some of the knee issues are resolved. I hate taking Vicodin but alas had to resort to that last night as the pain got unbearable. I don't need to be sleeping, I want to be up and out!!

We were to go to Thomasville,GA tonight for their "Victorian Christmas" but I cancelled as I knew it was not in my best interest. I also didn't want to ruin the evening for our friends. To large of a crowd expected and me being somewhat unsteady just didn't seem to be good thinking.
