Y'all are so talented.. makes me want to hide my face in shame.. I am totally needle challenged.. =0(

Are you all shopping or decorating??? lol
I'm lonesome here all by myself!
Jeff just e-mailed me, wanted to know make of my vehicle and year
told him if santa wanted to know because of tires, I've looked after that
if it is for having an electric start put in my car, came with it..wonder what else it could be..
BOYS, don't want things for my car want goodies for ME!!!
Didn't dare tell him I was looking at a nice sewing machine-wide throat..was tempted to try it but know if I tried it likely I'd want it..don't you think a new one would look nice sitting on my desk at the office?
Bet you 10 to 1 you are doing mega things I'd never attempt..we all have our likes/our hobbies and would love to hear about yours!
I am running in and out today. Trying to catch up on the laundry, quick trip to son's home to feed his dog. He was suppose to come home yesterday but didn't so the poor beast was starving....NOT!
Usually Kathy looked after the furries and stayed at my house while I was away..now that she isn't it will be really difficult to organize the care of my 2 kitties for 2 weeks..wouldn't have been bad but think Greg and his family are going to Jamaica for Christmas, then with Darlene and I going to Florida leaves June, Ann nearby..hard to get commitments with holiday season on the doorstep..love my furries but they sure tie you down.
Marion is it a long drive for you? would it have been easier to bring the furry to your house and he could have picked him up?
Betty, when I made the stocking, I cut out the front and back for the stocking and lining. You can quilt the stocking part if you want to. Then I sewed the lining to the top of the stocking, placed them right sides together, then sewed all the way around, leaving an opening to turn right side out when done.
No It would be totally unwise to bring his dog to my house. It's a lab who is used to being outside and my yard isn't fenced. Add to that we have 2 rather large 'gators in the lake. They are seen frequently in the little lagoon that runs back of our house. Don't dare take the chance with that. I only have to drive 6 miles to my son's home so it really isn't bad. Besides, I picked up some really pretty sycamore leaves today and thinking what I am going to do with them. Brain is churning with ideas but not sure if they will actually work so far.
I am sewing, and painting...sewing and painting...and that is all I can say....
Tis the season....Fa ♪ La♫ La♪ la♪ laaaaa ♪♫ ♫ ♪ La La La La ♪ ♫ ♪♪

Thea, that didn't take long at all, not as quick as USA post office but it made good time..don't get too excited, not that special, of course I had hand made pressies and who do I get?? Someone who sews. Lol. Thrilled that I got your name..
LindaKay the utube I saw also had the cuff included..I had thought of making a few but thought better of it..would love to see yurs..now if Thea would stop jumping maybe she could tell me wat is the base width for cutting 1/2 circle?? Want to try a few Xmas tree napkins to use up leftovers.
Oooh Marion, forgot about those gators..yikes, guess it would be somewhat like us having wildlife in our backyard but yowzers, not so sure I would like this critters in my back yard.
Didn't go to Factory Rec over the weekend, minute I did, owner Doug who knew Roger and I well called down dorm his office..said give grandma Betty. Good discount. Lol
Kyle was working so I said I'm here for your dad's birthday gift, looked at snowmobile sweaters, gloves and the likes, Kyle goes behind the service counter and takes out a watch made for Bombadier Snowmobile manufacturer.. $129.99 plus 13% hst tax, NOT.. Doug yells down, did you give grandma a good sale price, Kyle says 20% off, Doug yells, sell it to her for $40.00 sooo Greg's birthday gift looked after.
still dealing with humdinger of a headache (I know, go look after it right?) so into hot bath I go..have roast /scalloped potatoes for supper then will decide if I'm up to working on a project seeing I finished the Dresden table cloth..we'll see

Here is a video for the napkins, I think they are 20 inch circles. These are made with a server, but you can sew and flip also.
Thea, I can see you smiling from here. Great pressies Betty!
Betty, please call your Dr. There may be something else wrong, and they need to do more test.

Thunder - when you get to the link, just delete the m period at the beginning of the link address...
I don't know how that "m." got there, but that was the problem in front of the words "youtube"

Good Morning!
Oh wowwie!! What great presents Thea..very cool fiber optic stocking too.
Awe and a very nice surprise for Carolyn too.
Lol just love that you are singing away while painting and sewing!! Sorry no call yesterday,
Oh haha I had the most craziest days of the dropsies and or everything just seem to go wonky, just didnt matter what I touched! In the end I decided to not do much except very slowly work on 3d snowflake, ya just cant or maybe you can fell how estatic I was when The pieces just literally snapped into place...omg broke 3 of the pieces .. I learned some pieces of wood just have amind of their own. But giggling since this was a practice piece decided it can be covered up. Not sure what to do now, paint it?? Cover it in
glitter???
Joining in let it snow, let it snow...roflol and since it was 71 degrees here yesterday, I just have to make myown snow!!lol.
My first snowflake!!
Oops brb...took pic yesterday and of course its not there! Lol just how the day went!
Wow Judy - you are going to town with that saw!!! I love it.
Carolyn, can't wait to see what you got from Betty!
Judy, I LOVE that snowflake! How big are they! Now that you have that saw figured out, you will be making so many things! Great job!
Morning everyone!
Looks like Betty is sleeping in, or busy at work already?
Holy wah Judy, I can see just how many times you've had to drill and insert the blade for the inside cut..lots of work and omg you are doing wonders with the saw!
LindaKay, was up and at it..quilted a small table runner to insert in a 'shoebox donation' for women's shelter..would like to include a runner..know when you are without your home a runner is not what you are thinking about but the list of wants includes what women normally would like to decorate and use during festive season so they can be like all others..
Betty, that is a generous, and thoughtful gift!
Thought I'd move us over...
