Guten morning to you too!!
Ooh, my eyeswere just soaking in the glorious beauty of your Country!! lol I kept thinking yeah I could just go and be at peace in the surroundings...spectacular photos. Itsounds like a fabulous tripThea. So very glad you had such a wonderful time with family..just love your village.
Yep would love to see the napkins as well
My gosh you cant imagine I am sitting out on the deck...coffee, tabbie and wrapped in my blankie! Yeppers it is that warm!! my gosh hard to believe its December already!!
Thank you Linda Kay for letting everyone know about my computer issues. Geesh, very frustrating it has been...but yaay it is resolved once again. Omg you would think they could tell you via phone when you reset the system, you havetopull the battery...would save alot oftime and aggrevation, at least we know this now.
Well I've been a busy bee. As you know iVe been in the process of cleaning my house top to bottom!! Oh little skip to my lou...I am done! So since then ihave been just playing with my scroll saw learning theins and outs. One thing Im trying is a 3d snowflake!Omg it takes some seriou patients and one can not be in a rush!! Roflol, its a great piece to practice the removal and insertion of the blades, which I have now mastered! I Find I am so loving the this machine...i have broken about 6 blades and it has driven mebonkers, but Ive since learned about the tention and whats working on that...haha all the while, projects are just popping into my thoughts, have to tell myself, Jude finish the one you started first!!
Ok..Mary, wanted to tell ya, you asked about the cleaning bug, well mine started when everyone left back in August/September...one room at a time and all at once, lol. I've tossed, scrubbed and reorganizd all im going to do for the year, both inside and out! We get so busy with stuff that the house tends to be a dumping grounds! So time to clean becomes month long adventure...
Lol it took one week just to de-Jake my boys old room. Must have remove a box and half of staples from the walls, not to mention a variety of nails..but the room was made comfy for our guests...now its ready to move forward that part is upto Steve, sigh but Ill get tired of waiting and end up doing it myself, lol.
Pictures jakes old room.
Next, impromtou guest room!
The last photo, you can see the vase of flowers..they were all the left over parts and pieces from the wedding boutiners corsages and bouquets...they thought is was a nice touch...ok will load a close up of arrangement.
Best/worse/what did I learn today? Chat with friends..
WOW, Judy, you have been busy, and what a nice transformation! Great job! So glad your back online! Funny how one little battery can run our lives!
On the outside, my greenhouse/ shed was cleared and reorganized for winter storage, what a mess it was, come spring it will be easy to get things out to they're summer spots! Lol with this gorgious eather half way thinking todo some landscape projects....nah, it will wait and ill just dream of till next season...
Then the wood pile was delt with, a family task...Steve and Jake split, and Julia and I stacked...Lol, the princess Breenie girl, got out of it because she was working long hours.
Hmm not letting me post pics! Try again...nope ill send and try again.
Wow and double wow Judy you have been busy..looking good girl..now where oh where are you cutting, in the house??ask me, major dust everywhere..I need a workshop, maybe checking all those lottery. Tickets would be a good idea lol
Going back to your scroll swam you do know different blades for different thickness..as for snowflakes you need spiral blade, helps you cut frontwards and backwards and sideways..who would think one little blade could do so much. Lol
Update on the house, did the young couple ever purchase it??
Just finished wrapping. Gifts from this weekend, vacuumed, washed floors, did a load of wash, took roast out of the freezer for supper and now I can play in craft room without feeling guilty
Ohhh Judy, can see a place for the scroll saw, yep I can...just bring an extension cord out to the greenhouse and you will be all set...then pile up the leftover wood chunks for a fire in the pit...
Ahh did I tell you I need you to clean my firepit in the spring?? Maybe you can take the tram when Joyce comes to teach the hypertufa mushrooms. Lol
Thank you all for your positive thoughts and prayers for Quill. They are working!!! She gets a little better as each day passes. She gets mighty huffy though when Diesel and I go for a walk without her. I just can't take the chance that Diesel will blindside her and down she will go. I have no idea how I would get her back out of the bush. Once we get snow its not a problem as I can use the toboggan to move her. Her hips and rear legs are still quite wobbly (she looks like a new colt) but she manages to get from the woodstove to the bedroom so we are both happy. Took another tick off of Diesel yesterday - will they NEVER go away?
Oh Thea everything looked beautiful and oh soooo good. No wonder you miss home!! Are you going to the Ottawa Christmas Craft Show? Do you go to the one in Nepean? I'm thinking that one is already over.
Barb, you tell Norm he needs to come and see if my oven still works.lol Diesel says to tell you he tried to stay as still as possible when Norm was having his chemo.
Judy you sure have been busy. Do you hire out? lol My cleaning lady is in her ninth month of pregnancy and she wants to come back as soon as possible after the little guy is born. I know money is tight as her DH is a seasonal worker. She was concerned I would not be happy about her bringing the baby. Heavens bring that baby, I can hardly wait!!!
Pouring an ice/rain here. I was so wanting the Weather Liars to live up to their name today. Betty, I am glad you are home safe and sound. Sure didn't relish your drive on Friday night. It is nice travelling with someone who is an earlier riser too. Is Darlene? Please pass on to Ann and Darlene some hugs from me - I sure know what they are feeling right about now.
Took another tick off of Diesel this morning. Will they NEVER be done for the year? We've never had them this bad before but the vet's office keeps saying this gorgeous wether we are having is the cause.
Susan, how does it feel to have your first week of the new job behind you?
Need breakfast. I've been up since dark o'clock and haven't fed myself. I do get so easily distracted!!!
Debbie I hope you get to the beach today. When will you be flying home?
Will pop in later. Mary are you ready to start walking again?
DIanne
Oh Judy I can so relate to those last 2 pictures. The guys go the wood cut up now it needs to be stacked and split. We were going to start splitting today but the weather trumped us. I look at that stacked wood and just smile - it means warmth and good exercise to me.
So glad Quill is feeling better, wants to be with you this Christmas and NewYears..
Yes, all are early risers..do you think it comes with age, you just don't sleep????
Will give your regards to Ann and Darlene, yes, hard for them for sure..can't believe when this time of year comes around how even after all these years I feel so badly..think that is why I never stop from November till after NewYears, my way of coping..
Just think, hard work with the wood but you and the furries will feel so toasty when the snow is falling and wind a blowing.
Had the weather not been so bad Friday night, I was going to Hamburg for their craft show, couldn't let the masses down seeing Paul, Debbie and I usually make an appearance but after the ride from hell, no way.
Forgot Bernie is doing a Christmas gathering today at a big resort, supper and all..I really should find some energy and go but I'm so comfy in my jammies, just clean a bit, sit a bit, sew a bit, winse at the headache and start all over again so not a good idea for me to go..
was talking to mom, she is putting a bit of a guilt trip on me, saying family is family and I really should go..ohhh I did not tell her I was in Buffalo, shaking my head..you got to lie sometimes don't you?
That is a lot of wood Judy! Lots of work for sure!
Ok Im back again too!! Thank you, on house...lol still "showing off" all the work weve done...this hasbeen the main reason for my being away for so long. I was under some spell, once i got started it was so hard to do anything else, as Ijust kept thinking almost done then I can come play...and wahllah, here i am just a blabbering away, roflol.
Well trust me, you have all been in my thoughts and prayers...when I read thevarious posts„ I was sadddened at what some of you are dealing with, Happy avery cheerful at strides to overcome and some of the issues. And literally delighted to see all the endeavors getting accomplished!
I have so enjoyed seeing all the beautiful projects underway...
Linda Kay. OMG you are so right, batteries have taken over! Lol...with me its just insane...cant believehow many times we have to charge...Im a chargin fool!
Well How beautiful YOUR afgan turned out.
Dianne, Was sending you lots of armwraps for many reasons. I was so sorry to hear the tragic loss of your friend. And sad and concerned for Quill. IM Glad she feels a little better, and laughed out loud at the mischief Deisel brings....lol. think you out to train him to pull a wagon and help you haul the wood!! I thought of you all the while working on the stacks, Yes, wonderful to get it done and always be cozy warm with Quill and Deisel nestled by your side.. ohYippy your morni.g walks to begin again with Mary!!
Waaiving Hiya Debbie!! So glad you are enjoying Florida!! I cant wait to see your photos from the trip! Ohhh speaking of which, got to share Jakes photo of Skittles! It is just fantastic! LOLI take a photo of his photo.
MAary and Barbara...wow and let the Christmas parties begin!! Wonderful pressies you to exchanged...mmmm, lol on walking into quilt shop asking if y'all have fat quaters...and as you can see Barbara dose some pretty spectaular work...Barb, your table top forMay is stunning!
And thank you againfor that advise...lol as you know one project complete!
OHH Betty...yep I actually bought the spiral blades, but I dont have the patients to get them inserted...they dont have the little pins to hold them...my first attemp was a bombr! It immediatly broke.so I comtinued with the others..the first snolflake it a practice piece and since figuring out what I was doing thought better to keep going with what I know. I ONLY
Have 3 spiral blades and dont want to break them till I get moreto practice...but I will be estatic when I get it figured out! LOL IT TOOK LOTS OF oops cap lock. Scratching of the head , some choice words and about three Hours to figure out the changing of the blades with pins....roflol, think Bob villa would be proud that I actually figured it out. Well hehe my craft table iswhere I have been cutting, since it in the middle of the room i keep my vacuume handy and clean after every end of use...but in the Har-PORT we have a nice little work bench so I can work in there...dh just got the insulation and dry wall and electriciy in! So now We wont freeze while working...
Pikture time!
The new Harport/smoke/work room...outside...i stained it.
Nd the inside...needs paint and some decor! Lol Once all that is done my Chair and little table will go in!
Betty, how many plates are in the large dresden plates you made?
Judy, you have been busy, and soon you will enjoy your time in your chair to relax!
Break time as well..just talked with Darlene for almost an hour..starting to grieve, difficult time, not just Dealing with Mike's death, but her dad a few months ago and now that her mom is feeling a bit better but still in hospital all the dealings of the last months are starting to be felt..
She also told me that Ann's nephew is booked for princess Marguerite, seems prognosis is not good..prayers for both please..
Judy, know it's not the time for commercial scroll saw yet but I would have given up had I had to keep changing blades on a regular machine..ask Santa to call and see if the have the easy load (for inserting blades without the prongs ) for your machine..they do sell adaptors for most of them. Lordy girl, you've just tired me out looking at all the work you've done and still found time to play.
LindaKay - 20 blades on large and small dresdens...
Actually just sprayed fabric adhesive to hold the layers together for the one I'm making for Julie..wonder it does damage to the machine??? looked at a wide throat machine at Joann's yesterday, good sale price..if it weren't for the fact that I am p utting out $$$ for snow tires tomorrow think it would have come home with me..
Carolyn..hmmm somewhere and now I'm checking this thread you were gabbing about Christmas plans..wanted to say how brave and loving you are, offering for Larry to be off with his family..sorry to hear you are in so much pain..
yep, cybre Christmas party it is..what date Judy??
Lets see...
awe Dianne I can feel the excitiment of having your cleaning Ladies baby come. I so agree haviing a baby around sure is so much fun!! We thouroughly enjoyed having baby Erine here. She was just a delightful little one., not to mention so much fun to watch new parents, holy smokes those two were a riot!
Lol I love how you say youve been up since the crack of dark! Yikes me too...that early hours givesme timeto do the little quiet work. Hehe then 7 rolls around and Im ready to make noise!
So here is my precious lil brat...the real deal!

Then onephoto of Jake in a wrestling match. We wwent on friday evening, Yikes he got a beauty of a black eye and afat lip from this match...but he doesnt care...he is holding in at 7th inthe state so far and this is only the 3/4th match. Ohwah and he got a call from a college in Iowa to wrestle for them!! Saidthey have had their eye on him for a while...ok Jake is in the blue.
Sigh..those pics arent the best but...haha thats what happens when tryingto take a photo when in a hurry!
Ok so remember I was cutting letters? They have since been stained cut to be pieced, gluedand polyurathaned! This is for Julias birthday...
And while those dried I worked on the decorations for it...will be making a boxto hold them in to store after the holidays.
I love it Judy and so will Julia!!! What a great job you did on those letters. Wonderful decorations too.......
Wow, you ladies make me feel like I am a slug.. sheesh.. you all are so talented and can do so much with redos and fixing and all.. I am so impressed..
Thea, your trip sounds like heaven to me.... I would love to be able to do that.. but alas... my love won't get into an flying machine... He had to when he was sent to Nam and back, and said no more will he fly..
Betty.. I think Larry has decided not to go see him kids this Christmas.. I overheard him tell his son that with my pain in my legs and all, that we were just staying home this year... I felt kind of sad.. but happy that Larry loves me that much...
Now my daughter is talking about coming here for Christmas... We have wanted her t o for the past 16 years and she always says she will but then something better comes up and suddenly .. she can't come.. Oh well.. Karma ya know.. Some of Larry's family is going to come here.. and we are having some folks that are alone to come for the festivities... so it will be a wonderful celebration of our Savior's birth..
Just in awe Judy..girls, can you believe how our Judy has bloomed..seemed like only yesterday she felt overshadowed by everything and look!!! Now if we can only get her writting again.
Give Jacob a hug for me, he'll go places that young one..not only a charmer but a wrestler as well..congratulations Jacob..
Can smell the road, is that smoke??? hmmm best I go check
Was trying to get the dresden piece done and binded tonight to I'd have something to do tomorrow and knock one of the last few things off my Christmas list..faded quickly..maybe supper and to bed
Judy need an 'upper' today and you've hit the spot
That is lovely Betty. I love that pattern....
Judy, awesome scroll saw work!!!! I have tons of patterns, let me know what you want to make. And congrats to Jake...Dave says tell him to wait for more offers...
Betty, beautiful table topper. hope you get some good sleep tonight.
welcome back Thea, beautiful pictures. I always wanted to go to Germany. heard it was beautiful.
You are up late Thunder..was today your day off?? Bet you will be thrilled when the Christmas rush is over, don't know how you all do it..stores packed and people not overly friendly.
When at Kohls Saturday morning at 6am, staff were fresh on duty, smilling, offering to help where they could..was a pleasure shopping for not only the sales but the customer service aspect..
started to watch the Grinch, so while watching it thought I'd put border on the last runner I did last week, wow, amazing what you can get done watchng t.v....have the runner ready to quilt..perhaps tomorrow night..not tired so hate to go to bed and toss and turn..
Hello To All !
Thea loved the pics... what is Schnitzel? I may have to share the cold meat platter with LK's hubby.. that looks delicious ! See Pancetta on there ? LOVE THAT !
what else was on there ?
YES DIanne... I'm ready for morning walks.... I cleaned all day.. like a mad woman picture with mickey ears on singing musicals ... LOL... need some fresh air.
Find it so funny Judy and I are both in this mode... I remember being like this expecting baby DS... could it be a cleansing of the nest once they are flying off ?LOL
Will Jake go back in the room once the guests are gone?
Sorry so short... I'm exhausted... shopped all day yesterday, cleaned all day today... never realized how much dust accumulates behind pictures !
Back to work tomorrow.
Hugs
Mary
very pretty, I have some of that butterfly fabric...don't ya just love it??!!!
Not up late for me, I am usually up till 1 or 2, unless I have a lot of days in a row that I have the early shift ( 7 or 8 am ) tomorrow off. I have an early Dr appt, then plan to do some sewing. appt is just routine follow up, discuss results of mamo, which I already know was fine, get script refills. tell the Dr Merry Christmas !!........
Drifted off to sleep about 11:30 pm and was then woken by a stark raving mad 70 lb puppy. Wooo Eeeeee Diesel is on a tear and I have no idea why. I do know he didn't get his usual mileage on the lane Sunday but heavens knows what else is stirring the bees up in his bonnet, If I could harness that energy I would be rich!!!
Morning all,
Didn't seem cold when I put Riley out, maybe yet another week of 'no snow'. Sure hoping!
Dianne, perhaps he could hear wild life close by, did you by any chance leave your energy pills within reach??
Can't wait to hear about Debbie's trip! Sure hope it was a trip of a lifetime..
Mary, remember those burst of energy just before the babies were due..
Refreshing isn't it to look around and see house cleaned, decorated for the festivities and have you shopping all but done.
I'm at the point that I'm saying, how many more sleeps till Santa?
Did sew the border on the table cloth, yikes ran out of fabric for all but 3". Had to be creative, little seam where there should be none, but 'oh we'll. Now I have something to keep me busy at the office and I get to strike me more to do off my list..actually, if Melanie brought me placemats and I did the borders there would be no list. Lol
Need to put the curling iron to these curls, make a coffee and venture out!
Gab in a bit
New song and I just love it!!

Adding: I'm leaving in a lttile while to meet up with Cheryl (cheriffic) and with Jean (Qwilter) and I'm so glad it is a good driving day!!

Morning everyone!
Dianne, sounds like he got up to something for sure. When we first got our Siberian husky, he was about 4 or so, and so full of it. Once we took him to the vet and got him fixed, he settled down pretty quick!
Betty, I have done that too, think you have enough, and find out you need just a few more inches of fabric for the border. Then you have to piece it to make it fit!
We finally got our tree Saturday, got it put up yesterday, and all I have on it so far are the lights, hoping to get it decorated today!
Guten morgen!!
Just a fast note before I am on the run again...lol
Thank you all for your kind words re. our vacation pictures...sure wish you all could come with us next time!! Start saving your Pennies!!
LK...your DH has good taste!! The food on that plater is one of my favorite...double smoked bacon, black forest bacon and cold meats of any kind and fresh crusty bread (from wood fired oven)...yummyyyyyyyyyyy...here I go again...lol
Mary...you would enjoy the food there as well!!! To answer your question a Schnitzel is a breaded Pork steak...a Wiener Schnitzel is breaded Veal Steak. Very easy to make at home :)
Judy...you sure are a busy bee!!! Wish I had your energy to clean and declutter this house from top to bottom!!! lol...but I did manage to kill a few dust bunnies yesterday!! If you ever feel like you need a "working vacation" you could come to my house!!! lol
Love the work you are doing with the scroll saw!!! I think would be missing a few pieces of my fingers if I tried that...lol My Brother does a lot of the scroll saw work and I have a lot of his work here in my home...my fav. is the Christmas Pyramid he made me!!
Haven`t started the Christmas tree napkins yet...hope fully later today. I have found a few simular patterns to give you an idea of what I mean.
http://www.lynbrown.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/christmas-tree-napkin.pdf
http://craftsanity.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/new-craftsanity-christmas-tree-cloth-napkins.pdf
http://i.embpersons.com/cute/org/UEQ3pliQ.jpg
The Pattern I bought is called "Floral Bouquet Napkins" and is folded a bit different then those pattern.
Ohhhhh Betty LOVE that dresden Table cloth !!! Just stunning!! How big is the middle dresden?? I have the 20 blade and the 16 blade ruler and on Saturday I picked up a Mini Dresden plate ruler that makes a 12 blade dresden (perfect for using up scrap fabric)
I made a table topper with 3 rows of different size dresden plates, I really like the way it came out...it is like3D since the tips of the blades are not sewn down.
Dianne...so good to hear that Quill is feeling better!! Hope and pray that she will improve daily. Maybe she injured herself (back or paws) and she just needed a rest...that is what happend to our cat Tiger (almost 18 Years old)...she started limping and you could tell she was in pain...she went under our bed and I thought for sure that we had to put her down...we offered her food and water and she would just nibble on the food and drink a bit of water then lay down again...we kept checking up on her and you could tell in her eyes that there was still "spunk" and life left, so we let her be and low and behold after 2 days she started to move around and now she is running around like a spring chicken again. Guess Tiger just knew what is best for her and that was rest...like a human when they have a strain. Big hugs my friend and pleaseeeeeeeee bottle some of Diesels engery and send it here...lol...sure could use some...lol
Hello Carolyn...nice to meet you!! Hope your back is feeling better soon and your talk of venison makes me crave my Mom's Venison Roast...Mmmmmm sooooo good!!! Was marinated in red wine for 3 days!! My Dad was a Hunter, so I grew up with that kind of meat, but I haven`t had any venison in a longggggggggg time!!!
Thunder...hope all goes well at the Docs and wishing you a happy sewing day!!! What are you working on??
Barb...beautiful song for sure!!! My all time favorite Christmas song is still "Silent Night", never fails to give me goosebumps and a few tears.
Welllllllll better get going again...my friend is coming over later and we making a Christmas Wreath with fabric flowers!!!
Have all a wonderful day and do something nice for yourself!!!
Love and many hugs
Thea
LOVE the Dresden plate!! Note to self: get son to cut me a larger template so I can do one.
Funny reading about Diesel....my daughter has a cat that once the lights are turned out at night thinks it is time to run laps in the bath tub. Her bathroom is next to my bedroom so it sounds like 4 legged furries running around in the wall.
No tree here so far...attended a horse show this weekend that one of Kim's students was participating in with her new horse for the first time. Got a first place so didn't do to bad. Yesterday it was Market Days shopping but was really disappointed in the items all the vendors were showing. Way to much jewelry and tote bags.....everyone doing that now. Today it is catching on threads and more cleaning....nope Mickey ears at this house. LOL
Barb, enjoy your day..am sure you will be tired by days end but will have had laughs and am sure a bag of fabric to bring home.
LindaKay, always nice to see that part of the decorating done, once you've a few pressies under the tree I think you(I) become more enthused. Different doing decorating in your kind of weather.
We have almost spring like temps today and for tomorrow and Wednesday. See, shouldn't have ordered those tires..lol
Paul's girls from Penetang office are in Toronto doing a t.v. show..they were in audience a month ago and got called in to be part of the show today so off they are, Suzanne was here when I got here, she was in so much pain..was doing last of cleaning of her mom's place (sold) and had wet shoes and fell..trying to get appt. with her doctor for meds. Called Jim to say I needed him to man the fort at 3:00pm and he's nowhere to be found, maybe just running late. Paul called to say that he had family business to attend to and wouldn't be available today...so, here I sit, doing binding and wondering why to heck I didn't stay home.
Marion, been finding as I go to craft shows that the vendors are almost commercial, few hand made things, and those that are hand made are basically what we did ions ago..disappointing for sure! Maybe it's because we are too smart and make most things ourselves..
Note to self...check for dust bunnies under my beds
I think you are right Betty. The bad thing is after coordinating the vendors for 20 years at the show in Gainesville, you see what is mass made instantly. I did find a stadium seat for my son that is very different and unique.......if I don't decide to keep it for myself.
I think the best part was seeing so many friends I had made over the years........like a family reunion almost.
Not long before you will be getting on the road for the south. We are still trying to decide what day to leave but that will depend on how Kim's dental appointment goes the 18th. She might need a day to recover.
Thea, sorry I didn't acknowledge you reappearance and wish you a belated birthday. I loved the picture. They reminded me of the trip my late husband and I took to Austria lo many, many years ago. Brought back some wonderful memories.....and foods.
Thea, those napkins look really easy to make. I found a video on you tube, that shows how to fold them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WQBtEJP8Os
Betty, sorry to hear about Suzanne hurting herself! She is going through so much right now!
I agree, so hard to get in the spirit of Christmas when it is sunshine and 80 degree's!
Good Morning...
Thank you about scrolling..
Oh man sure hopeDeisel settled down.
Yay Barbara! Have a great visit and safe drive.
Mary.. Hope the work week is a good one. Whew sure know how it feels to be tired after cleaning...Hey girl, Thank you for Christmas card!! Love it and its the first of the
season! Wow your way on top of things!
Yay Linda Kay,so nice to get your tree up and lights! My gosh, found we have to replace some,my little Christmas tree lights finally stopped working. Had a great run though they lasted about 25 years.lol. We finally put up our out door lights and I am really bummed to say I can not fined the garland that goes across the face of the house!! Lol its llike a huge roll too so hard to miss and yet its just gone, wahhhhhh! Anyhow hope you get it decorated! Will be nice...think Ill decorate a bit today too!
Waiving Hi Thunder...glad you got a day off! Good news on mamo...awe Ill let jake know about holding out...he is really hoping to get into Iowa state we will see! Patterns for scroll saw how exciting!! Will have to ringle jingle you and see...I am really surprised the menards and those stores dont sell magazines...thought maybe find a borders maybe they have them. So how goes all your sewing and projects?
Well today have some little hand work tofinish about all for me.
Betty so glad you got to where you need for hand work...Gosh the dresdon is gorgious.
Help...bird is screechie today,
Oh oh James is here to mud the dry wall...yikes already talking to himself!! Lolol.
Be back in a bit....time switch laundry!!
storeddont sellthe
oooh LindaKay, that link must be the placemats that Thea is doing..loved the tutorial, sure makes life easier seeing step by step instructions..did I miss how wide the bottom of oval had to be?? must have.
Now how many have you done Thea and LindaKay bet you are at the sewing machine already trying one..lol
I keep calling local fabric shop to see if they have the large 'twister' template..did order the 2 books but realized I needed next size up..reason??? because 1 more piece to finish up and still over 2 weeks left to Christmas and you just know I'm NOT going to sit and do absolutely nothing..only takes me 10 minutes to pack a suitcase so need something..idle hands not good for me at this time of year..
Judy, you will be looking at all your workshop pretties shortly and remembering the fun times you had making them..
thought somebody would have had a package today..they did say Mon/Tue..am expecting too much right?
I am working on stockings and mug rugs for swaps.
forget where on u-tube they had the stocking all done in one step sew method..found it interesting.
one side left of the quilt to hand stitch border and it's done..bought M&M's lasagne for lunch here at the office and saved the price of the large 'twister' template which I picked up on my lunch hour..just think of the things I could buy with $$ not spent at restaurant..lol
