DW made roast beef sandwiches with pico de lettuce and Henry Bain sauce last night. Although good, they were bigger than my mouth, so I had mine open faced. Accompanied by black bean salsa salad.

Thomaston, CT

Sounds good, Don.....I had leftover soup....

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Went out for dinner at a Hibachi grill buffet. I picked out what I wanted and the guy grilled it for me. That was my main dish. Of course I wandered around and picked out other goodies. I didn't try them, but they also had frog legs which our friends raved about.

Love roast beef

Frog legs are good, taste like chicken

Cannot eat anything exotic.....cannot even look at the rabbit in the grocery store.....

Brother Brian always was threatening hubby about throwing Sophie & Patches in a pot. LOL

Thomaston, CT

NO!!!! That's why I could never keep chickens....all I would eat would be the eggs....still remember my Gram chopping off the heads of our Sunday dinner.....

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

I have chickens and can't eat the eggs!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Roasted chicken, mashed taters, peas and applesauce.

I remember being on the business end of the axe when it was time to do up chickens. The smell of hot, wet feathers was awful! Maybe that's why I can't smell things now. I shut down as a defense.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I loved the fresh eggs from my uncles farm

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Some of my wife's patients bring fresh eggs. Huge difference in taste.
