Thanks, Victor...I needed that! Glad to hear from you, Phoebe!
Time to give thanks for food!
Whoa - Jen's a minor! ;)
If 70 is the new 40, I guess I'm 50.
I finally persuaded DW to accompany me to a Brazilian restaurant that opened this summer. I had the Rodizio, where you get a huge salad plus 3 side dishes and the waitress brings around spits with roasted meat on them and slices off pieces until you say uncle! I sampled the chicken, Moroccan pork, chipotle sausage, top sirloin and spiced lamb, but was so stuffed that I had to pass up the traditional last course of pineapple. We both enjoyed a really different dining experience.
LOVE rodizio!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That sounds like fun and a great way to try things.
Mmm...sounds awesome....
Going out and taking son and his friends for b-day dinner to Cheeburger Cheeburger
Have fun and Happy BD to your son!

I wouldn't be able to either.. had to take the garbage out if my Mom and it for lunch.. when I came home from school.. can't stand that smell
I'm see I'm not the only one that can't eat hot tuna....has to be cold, lots of onion & celery.....
Yeah is kind of smells like it's bad when it's hot...Sorry Celeste :-)
Ordered out tonight was feeling up to going out, BD dinner on hold till tomorrow night. I had quesadillas and Lou had a Turkey club.
My dil & grandkids are coming over tonight for pizza....son is hunting...
Happy hunting!!!
When I make tuna casserole, I have to make sure I have a candle burning(hubby hates the way it smells and won't eat it)
Chinese tonight
Jeff hates it, too, hot or cold. We were married for a few years before he told me he didn't care for it. Heehee. Didn't want to hurt my feelings. Bless his heart.
Had marinated salmon filets , seasoned green beans and pasta.
The pizza was great, Garret called from the Chesapeake where he's duck hunting, the kids went home early because it was a school night, Uconn women won, the men won in double overtime....altogether a happy Sunday....today, back to reality...taking Mom to doctor, then Women's Fellowship tonight....no pot luck, it's pizza....again....oh, well....
I made West Virginia pork chops last night, still have one pkg left in the freezer
Roasted chicken breast, cream corn, asparagus and rice.
What's different about W. Virginia pork chops, Deb? Makes me think of Deliverance.
They were the best ones I've had, I don't know why. We bought a bunch last time we were there. They are juicier and really tender. Maybe they don't try to make them lean pigs.
And they're about $1 each
Have to look for them. Thanks.
Will be making beef veggie soup & eating it for the next few days...will be too busy to cook....
Spaghetti. Taking a hint from our recent Brazilian restaurant outing, DW made chimichurri sauce for the italian bread.
DD is home. chicken tonight
Pizza with the grand-girlies, toffee bars, campfire and sleepover.
Sounds like a very happy Thanksgiving Eve! Leftover soup here....
Made a pizza and salad here.
pizza
I made breakfast, DW and #2 grand-daughter fixed dinner: pork loin with in-the-pot-potatoes, asparagus au gratin and gdaughters veggie medley with mushrooms. Vinho verde. Pumpkin pie. 3 stuffed eaters!
Sounds good......I hate turkey leftovers.....managed to give the carcass to my SIL, I left loads of meat on it.....
I cooked 2 turkey breasts for 4 of us to have leftovers! And Leah ate her first solid food today, sweet potatoes, was cute while she was trying to figure it out.
too fun Deb!!... I busted open my pinky finger on my mandolin today.. was making french fries for the deep fryer.. after the turkey was done.. a couple were hard to start.. and I didn't use the guard.. stupid stupid stupid.. potato slipped and I had to throw out the ones under it.. good news it was only 1/2 a potato.. but I was done with it after that.. AND we forgot to make the fries .. DUH... always forget something
Oh, no, Allison......kitchen accidents can be nasty!
Sorry Allison, hope it heals quickly!
guessing it needed a stitch or two .. I have those funny band aids for things like this that seal up and form a scab .. I can see a little blood pooling under there.. nice thing about these is when there is moisture it puffs up so if i bang it or grab something it won't hurt as bad.. sad part is I do know better and should use the guard.. esp when exhausted from cooking all day.. what a goof
