OK..it was the Whistling Swan....don't know where the Black came from....now it's the Duck....& that's where we will meet tomorrow.....
NE Pets Forum #24
Black Swan was a good movie!
Ah, maybe that was in my subconscious....
Oh, how I would hate it if my dogs got into some skunk smells or got sprayed. YUCK!!!!!! Glad you guys are getting rid of the smell. I will have to remember that peroxide and baking soda with water and dog shampoo if my guys ever get into it.
Sturbridge Village is a place I'd like to see. I love Plimoth Plantation, although it is very pricey. I can get passes to get in for $5, though, at my local library.

I learned about Jeruslem Artichokes from the gardener at Sturbridge Village they have quite the garden there.
Traffic in Sturbridge was insane yesterday....also on I-84 which I usually avoid like the plague.....
and use gloves while washing! I made the mistake of scratching him under his chin, took a few hours for the smell to go away on my fingers even after soaking them
Jerusalem Artichokes are very invasive. I know this from my own experience with them.
Karen
Are they kosher??
taste ok though--learned that through Mass Audubon.
DON'T plant them!!!
They actually taste quite good - I'm just one of the people to whom they give gas! I make soup with them and manage to avoid the problem. They can be eaten raw, baked, boiled - just about any way. And yes, they tend to be invasive!
Taste sort of nutty......
They would make a burglar take notice.
wow that's a lot of hair in the house!!!
Great photo.
Shepherds are a noble looking dog......Zak, the one who lives on the blueberry farm, is a total idiot! He does love the kids, however, so I don't complain.....When I travel to my art class, I pass a farm that sells beef, pork, etc. all grass-fed....you can usually see a lot of the animals from the road, guarded by a Great Pyranees.....today she had 2 pups with her...so cute!
Awwww I love Pyrenees, we had put in to adopt one but the guy ended up taking the dog to a farm in PA
One winter with snow piled high along our road, the neighborhood pyrenees was running around with a huge orange ribbon in his tail so he could be seen.
Good idea....these dogs are true working dogs....Mom was always out in the pasture with her animals.....
True! We always had a bell ornament on the tree....it never stayed on long when the cat got into the living room! My lab-giant schnauzer mix also ate a few ornaments off the tree...my neighbor's hose, motorcycle fenders, turtle.....
both of my cats are under our tree. Salem sleeps under the tree every year.
This is the first year I have left the younger guys up. Surprisingly, they are behaving. Only change I made was no Buffalo snow on the windows.
Very cute, but what is that over your left shoulder? Undeveloped twin?!! ^_^
oohhh the fur on his hood.. like a kids jacket
he is tiny!
Saw a on Rachael Ray a spray to use to keep the cats away from the tree....I 'think" it had geranium it in
not sure if Riley or Max is smaller.. but I think Max might be.. barely felt 5 pounds
What a little cutie! Smallest Yorkie I've seen is my DIL's sister's Mudpie......I'd say 3 pounds.....
Too cute....little dogs seen to love dressing up......although my wolfhound liked a scarf around her neck when she was out hiking!
yeah they are little like dolls.. fun to dress em up.. I bought Riley a pleather jacket that said bad to the bone on the back.. LOL.. 5 pounds of terror.. not terrier!!!
I won't tell you what I think about dressing dogs up in clothes
agreed!
Soooooo cute - dogs dressed up in clothes and costumes!
Some dogs love that attention.....
I am waiting for the results of the thyroid scans of my cats in the local library in Bedford Hills, NY. HollyCat screamed all the way here and I am sure she will scream all the way home. Oh well!
car sick?
