Gross! Sorry Jen!
and I'm out of peroxide
LOL
Too snowy here for skunks to be out & about! No squirrels this morning...yet!
Supose all three will be sleeping in the garage for awhile?
UGH, yuck!
LOL!
back from the vet. Good news, no sugar problems and no UTI. need to make an appointment to get the blood work done to find out more. heart sounds good too.
Yay!! Good news!!!
hope to do the blood work by the end of the month.
That's great to hear!! Yay for Salem!
That's good to hear that Salem is doing well. Hope the blood work comes back good.
Jerry got into a cup of oil that had been used to cook chicken. It was on the back of one of the kitchen counters. Made a mess in the kitchen. Thought it might give him the runs, but he's been fine. He's always stealing things off the counters.

Good news about Sampson! Jerry is quite the sneak, Karen! Robs stole a stick of butter off the counter when my back was turned.....
glad Salem has good news!!!
I've had Patches steal things before, but not nearly a bad or a much a Jerry does. I've resorted to bringing him in the bathroom with me when no one else is home, just so I'm sure he won't be stealing anything.
Karen.
Salem is making being on the computer hard. He insists on sleeping behind me on the chair.
Get him his own computer chair.
He wants the mouse.
Anyone use a prong collar for big dogs? I don't want too but am having a real hard time with Winston when he sees other dogs...get soooo excited hard for me to control him with my back...walks fine other than that. I use a halti gentle leader now and have tried everything but the prong....so many pros and cons about them.
Our trainer uses these on all size dogs
Works amazingly

Never have....my wolfhound used to pull me down when she was half-grown, but she got used to the leash, & then trained to walk at our side unleashed.....she was 120 pounds....Winston will be more.....
I saw a wolfhound over the weekend, everyone was stopping to pet him
I miss my Nora terribly, but there's no way I can handle a large dog anymore.....Suey, at 50 pounds, is the perfect size for me....
I can't bring myself to use one Jen...have you? They were banned in the UK...a $20,000+ fine for using them.
Marilyn, Winston is already over 120lbs at 9 months! Sadly he may be my last big one :-(
It doesn't hurt them, it's just vibration not a shock collar, you can hold it(my kids have even held it) and barely feel it, but for some reason the dog feels it more
I thought it was a shock collar Jen, which model did you use?
280NCP Platinum
Thanks Jen, it's a bit to much to spend right now.
Has hubby had to wear it when bad??
Trainer said #1 question....can we use it on the kids? #2 question can we use it on our husbands?
Salem is right now on the desk. we have wireless mouse because he has chewed 3 with cords.
Why even have a dog, that makes me angry!
It is awful.....other ways of quieting an animal, or yes, get a guinea pig.....Salem sounds like a character, Jumper....
he is, lol!
that's so mean to animals.
Sampson's bloodwork came back and his liver values are better! Hopefully another 2 weeks of antibiotics and the pills that have the active ingredient in Milk Thistle and he will be fine. Now if his thyroid values whould just come up!
