Coffee Break # 86 Fall is here!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

So glad to hear that you had success with a chiropractor too, Marilyn. Mine has 2 very good massage therapists. I haven't been for awhile. First things first. Yes, Allison...you and Randy really should go! My favorite is the warm stones massage.

There is a gorgeous glow outside here today...we're in the golden glow phase of the foliage. Lots of leaves down!

South Hamilton, MA

When the sun hits the yellow tulip poplar leaves, there is a glow.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

That yellow glow had me totally awe-struck when I first moved to Connecticut from So. Cal. Never had seen anything like it!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Sherrie - try rubbing duct tape in the sliver area and see if it will latch onto it and then you can pull it out.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Guessing around $250 for the orchid vase but that is only a guess. Took a gamble & paid 110 EEEKS. I picked up 9 cups & saucers for 10 bucks. Here is a Wedgewood Patrician - Its kind of artsy deco.

Edit - Should say it dates to around 1920

LOVE them!!!!

Thomaston, CT

Very pretty!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Frankenstorm is coming..no getting out of this ones way. :( On the upside I noticed our lineman out checking on things this week.
They were trimming the branches that hang on/near the lines and checking the sturdiness of the poles, replacing old, weak ones.
Still got the wood stocked, generator will be full tonight along with all the cars/trucks and will visit the grocery store today.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I bet our stores will be cleared out by tonight.. for the snow storm you couldn't find water, batteries or parmalot anywhere.. the parmalot was cleared out already.. I bought the store brand

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I think you will be spared the worst, Celeste. We are in for it - from Del to Ct will get the hardest.

Just in - fire, ice and locusts forecast for Halloween 2013.

Seriously, stay safe, all.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yes Victor this time I think N.J. & N. Y. are the ones w/a direct hit. :( Stay safe.
