I believe when a decent celebrity has to take off their clothes and show parts,their career is in trouble and they have a misguided manager.

I said it was a skit. That doesn't make it any less disgusting.

I just watched it...like I said nauseating...I'm no prude but find no humor in that...

SNL isn't even funny anymore, I can't watch 5 mins of that show

I have not seen it. I am certainly no prude either, but that is pathetic. No real creativity/humor anymore. Just shock effect. Low IQ.

Whoa - it gets worse! Just read SNL cut a skit they had planned in which senators ask Secy of Defense nominee Hagel to 'service' a donkey. Yikes.

We watched 2 episodes of a recent series, just to see William Macy whose acting we admire. I won't even name the show because the first episode was non stop crude crap, pandering to a really sleazy 20something audience. I don't want any of you to risk remembering the name as something 'recommended.'

HBOs ROME series started rough too , we could not watch. Barely survived "Sopranos"

OH and "The Americans" too, threw in some stuff..just not worth it to endure! Geez. Maybe they just want people to see those things and tweet everybody "OMG did you see..."

Can't wait for your opinion on this Wha. I was always wondering if this is just considered great by women.

I started to watch Shamless and couldnt stay with it.Too unreal and chaotic for me.
It was dysfunction for its own sake,on all levels and over the top. It made me more angry than entertained.

I guess there are three, soon to be only two , of us in the universe who have not seen any Downton Abbey. My aunt broke down after all her friends kept talking about it.

I haven't seen it...no desire too.

I thought the same thing about, Big Bang Theory, Ronnie. I tried watching it several times because my kids were always talking and laughing about it. I stuck with it a while and when I got a bead on what the characters were all about, I really started to enjoy the show.

Starting to watch Big Bang Theory - kind of an intellectual 3 Stooges. Can't get Downton Abbey - I checked after all of you talked so much about it. :(

i think Shameless is funny - i agree with everything Joann says - so crazy its is funny - love the Lip character.

Sometimes it's kinda hard to watch Big Bang Theory cause everyone calls my son Sheldon, it hits too close to home
My sil said the 1 episode that was so much like my son when Sheldon complained that the others were having fun "wrong"

I like Macy in nearly everything he does but Shameless isnt one.I must be too old and jaded.

5 episodes House of Cards as of tonight. Like it. Kevin Spacey is great.

Is that an on demand Netflix movie.I cant find the discs listed on Netflix for rental.

I am going to look into a rebuilt with Windows 7 installed instead.

they made the functions like a windows app phone.. hard to find programs.. put the mouse in the corner and it switches to another program.. can't figure out how to close a program.. LOL.. can go.. on and on and on how much I hate it.. they have the option to have a what we are used to desktop... but it's not the same

Be patient with Windows 8 and you'll find ways to get around very quickly. Don't have it myself, but one of the neighbors that I help with her computer bought a new laptop. At first I was really lost, but now I've learned to put everything that I want, where I want it. If you hate it, you won't relax enough to get there. Please don't stress yourselves out about it ladies. It takes all the fun out of it and gets in the way of your learning to enjoy it.

I remember the flak when VISTA came out.The geek designers dont get it right every time and R&D must be a bi*** when they miss the mark.

most of the issues are around moving where you find clicks - so it is like learning a whole new desktop - it seems intutitive is not at the top of the list when they build a new operating system.

DD has talked me out of the "pretty,new shinie black one with the 21 inch screen"
My needs arent much.I dont watch movies on mine so she says we should look at a rebuilt one with 6G memory and terabyt.I will be able to buy a new 21 inch monitor for it.She can remove my old hard drive and copy the files to the new computer.Staples was going to charge $100.00 to instal and do that.

We are learning to use the Macbook Air and some similar handicaps about not being used to different ways of working...first Apple product for us.
