Oh, AYC. I LOVE bean soup. One of the best bean soups I ever had was in Elkins, WV whilst I was in college. Don't remember the name of the place, but it was wonderful.
Oh too bad you don't remember, we'll be in Elkins this week.
It probably isn't there anymore. After all it was in the early 70's. That seems like yesterday at times and other times it seems soooo long ago.
Are you doing the caboose camping again? Should be great this time of year.
Yes we'll be camping. We buy the best pork chops there too.

Geno A. is the coach of the CT huskies women's basketball team (and the gold medal olympic team) and an idol in this state. So to celebrate his Italian heritage, he lent his name to a brand of wine. (It actually is drinkable but not idyllic.)
Celeste what do you put in the crock pot with the ribs?
Made a pumpkin pie dip, wow that's good!!!
used Nilla wafers to dip in it, tried to find graham cracker sticks but couldn't(don't they make them anymore?)
Pumpkin Pie dip
Ingredients
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 2 cups confectioners' sugar
• 1 (15 ounce) can solid pack pumpkin
• 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
• 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
• 1 teaspoon frozen orange juice concentrate
Directions
1. In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Gradually mix in the pumpkin. Stir in the cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and orange juice until smooth and well blended. Chill until serving.
DDIL makes this for the fam a lot. The grandies love it.
Have an apple pie and cranberry/orange bread in the oven. It was a little chilly so I thought I'd warm up the house a little bit. Heehee.
