Yes, I always share a pumpkin muffin with Suey during the fall......have not tried the pumpkin latte....the crew would fall over if I ordered something different! They usually have my latte started when they see my car pull in.....

Thomaston, CT

Oh, right, that's a good one...my friend made a casserole that I liked...had noodles, hamburg, cottage cheese, cream cheese, onions, & tomato sauce...

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Westbrook, CT(Zone 6a)

I've been reading a nicely illustrated cookbook called "Easy Chinese Recipes" by Bee Yinn Low, so when in cleaning up the garden before our first frost last night I discovered a mess of green beans hiding behind some foliage, I decided to make Sichuan String Beans (which she translates as Gan Pien Si Ji Dou, which sounds more exotic!). The beans are deep fried with pork, chilis, garlic and ginger, and served over rice. DW had to extract the peppers from hers since it turned out rather spicy, but I enjoyed the heat.

Oviedo, FL(Zone 9b)

Thomaston, CT

Porky peas?

Westbrook, CT(Zone 6a)

Robin:
Chunks of roast pork mixed with peas, some kind of spice and cheese on top. Porky peas sounds better than peasy pork!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Back to the Easy Chinese cookbook: Made Sweet and Sour Pork, accompanied by rice and Romaine Heart/Tomato salad. (Last garden tomato...sob!) Tasted good and prep was fairly easy, but dirtied a lot of bowls en route.
