;) Louise guessed my secret. Kid bedrooms are being deep- cleaned, and the boxes already started going in (temporarily I tell ya). They'll be shocked at how nice the house looks until they see their bedrooms.

We did get a new webcam--they've improved and gotten cheaper. Now anyone far away can see their dog.

Thanks, guys...the fair is sort of a highlight for me, so you can see how boring my life really is! LOL...Today I'm painting one of the spare rooms.....yes, I know, just too exciting......Rosemary, great idea with the web cam....I really missed my dog when I was at college....

More corrupt politicians in NJ??! Struggling to get my shocked look on. Trenton mayor arrested this AM.

I should get a web cam so I could see what the cats are up to while I am gone!

NJ is like CT....many former mayors & a governor all convicted.....Memory, that would be super.....unless they just slept the whole time!

I know that ONE of them is hyper-active - so he will be up to something!

Never forget 9/11 and all those who were lost. All the true heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to save others. Perhaps best exemplified by the flight 93 passengers.

Please remember my close friend, Stephen Driscoll, who died while saving others in the S tower on 9/11. Member of the elite ESU of the NYPD. I will always remember him as a skinny kid from the Bronx with a heart of gold and a constant smile. Thanks.

Thanks, Victor....quite a tribute to your friend....yes, a day I'll never forget with 3 family members in Manhattan, not knowing if they made it or not....couldn't stop crying until all had been accounted for, but Mitchell is still carrying the emotional scars of seeing the second tower hit.......

Thank you for posting the tribute to Stephan. The daughter of a childhood friend was working for american Express, but was able to escape. We should remember all of them, especially the first responders. A nasty batch of people plan something like that attack.

Hate all robo calls....why do we have to be subjected to them on the phone service we pay for??? That is a cute monkey....was actually a pet of someone in the village where it was discovered....Anyone else's gas prices going through the roof again? Local station here is charging $4.15 ....I take a trip to the city where it's a little cheaper......
