lovely shots again today!!.. Celeste the moss rose are easy to collect and sow.. I collect them when the pods are brown and just start to split open.. open too much and they dump seeds all over .. so timing is everything
Garden Gems 2012 #7
OMG Allison those are wonderful HUGE containers!!! Love what you did with the stump. ^_^
oohh that was a different stump.. sorry for the confusion
Ronnie mine were slow growing this year.. nice shots of it
Beautiful Allison. The caladiums are just fantastic and the BES vine reminds me I didnt plant that this year.
Coleus look great too, everything is really lush.
thanks JoAnn...the besv are crazy... see it all the way up the Hope fence??.. guess the tree down might be good.. they never grow that well for me
Mine went nuts. I bought a potted one and it went into the evergreen tree.
nice allison
Allison, the caladiums just glow.....love the lobelia, too! Jo, loved the hollyhocks in that garden!
I wish it was earlier in the season.I couldnt ID very many of the mature plants.I think I saw a little Mallow in there or Mullen.
Bill's caladiums are outstanding this year!!.. he just gets better and better
I have to plant more for next summer.....
I have some salvia just starting to bloom....that dark purple MG is very pretty!

Aww thanks Allison!
Beautiful,I might try canas next year. Brent and Becky have some nice ones
Awww!
aaawww
Beautiful blooms. I'm doing mostly clean up from the recent storms that took out a big old willow. Not a lot blooming right now.
Does anyone know if there is such a cultivar as a short white frilly Gladiola? 18" or shorter would be good.

Beautiful blooms, Ronnie. I lost my canna, honeysuckle and a red crape myrtle that were too near the generator when it went on for a few days. I was in the outdoor room and the fumes almost got me too before I realized what was going on.
great shots ronny - i have no success with hardy hybiscus because of the lace worms - and have decided against using the bayer chemicals as they have been linked to bee hive deaths - so good to see some pictures
Beautiful, as usual, ge.
Really like that Flap Jack Kalanchoe.
I'm tempted to give up all the hard work in the gardens and just do the pots on the deck!!
Deck gardening is in my future for sure.
Ronnie, awesome photos! Like Bill, my hibiscus was eaten .....Jo, I have ordered dwarf cannas that I keep in a pot....they would be lovely on your deck with the rest of those beautiful containers!
