How about a white clematis?, Geranium Biokovo, Dianthus Itsaul, Daylily 'Joan Senior', Campanula(Alba, Carpathian White, White Clips), don't forget white blooming bulbs, daffodils, crocus, hyacinth, muscari, tulips

Thomaston, CT

I like Crazy Lady!

pretty blooms again today everyone... how about white balloon flowers.. I have tons!!!

Thomaston, CT

I've never grown leopard lilies....very nice! I'm thinking my choke cherry is trying to tell me something....this came down today, on the opposite side from the first limb....we had no wind, just heavy rain....not walking underneath this baby anymore!

Yep I'm thinking it's life is over

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

Anyone want to swap something white for a small clump of Crazy Lady? I think I could split these 3 clumps into six trades.

I'd like the baloon flowers.

Mason, NH(Zone 5b)

HEAVY rains last night made short work of some of our unstaked Glads...had to go cut some and bring 'em in to vase. Not that we mind, they look great...

very pretty

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I forgot to plant zinneas this year.I'll add that to my list.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

they would look good with the peppermint moss rose Celeste gave me

Thomaston, CT

I've never grown that variety of zinnia...I like it....grass has totally taken over my beds, so that you can't see the plants...unless they are very tall....even my delph, blooming now, was hidden...so was Raspberry Truffle echie, which I had no idea I had planted...photos tomorrow....

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

I'm with you on the weeds, they are just brutal. I noticed the goldenrod is starting to form flower heads and many of them are taller than I am, at a whopping 5'3". I have been diligently trying to tame this portion of the yard since May. I think I have to scale back what is humanly possible with only one human doing it all alone.
Most of the pictures have 5 gallon buckets ( for weed collection ) in them and the large brown 30 gallon container is for frogs, when I can't stand their noisy fighting I catch them and we transport them to another location. Even my sister and her husband complained about them this summer. At lst count we have moved 18 large dominant ones to the lake.

The glads are lovely, I forgot to plant mine this year. :(
Love that zinnia! I have/had the seeds but misplaced them along with alot of other things. LOL
Looks good Mittsy, nice big place to fill in. ^_^

Is anyone getting reblooms? My 'Lincoln Star' clem, 'Oso Easy Cherry Pie' ' rose, 'Victoria Grace' had a lull and she back at it again. One of my Tradescantia is reblooming and 'Moonlit Masquerade' sent up a new scape and blooms, I don't remember it ever doing that before.

Yours is much brighter, Pixie, but considering mine was covered by grass for the last month.....also, how tall is yours? It's supposed to be between 24 & 34"....mine is only about a foot high.....

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Maybe 18", not very tall but i've only had it a year now.

Norridgewock, ME(Zone 5a)

Bill, love the lotus; that pond/stream is just amazing. Everyone else, just because I don't mention you doesn't mean I don't think your pictures are awesome, it is just so hard to keep up! I took a few shots of the overall look of the gardens by the house this week. Wish I had thought to water the coleus before the picture was taken, this was before it rained! Last image is closeup of Thuja occidentalis Rheingold. I'll probably have to move it soon to give it more space. It has been a very well-behaved conifer, does well through the winter and always looks good.

Peppermint moss rose I bought a flat of this spring, it had some companion pink solid ones in with it. The were a great accent and I loved the combo they made. I am going to attempt to save the seeds...wish me luck!
