thanx

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Gorgeous Jo!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

love that coleus with the green edge JoAnn!!

Norridgewock, ME(Zone 5a)

This is a weird thing to post, but I love the variety of mosses and fungi on this tree stump. They have thrived partly because the adjacent ferns provide shade, and partly because I water the adjacent Japanese maple seedling periodically, and send some water to the stump also.

The other picture is a Japanese anemone, 'Pamina'. I had never had an anemone before I bought this last year, and I really like how the flower heads are so graceful above the foliage.

I like moss.. Randy hates it.. we fight over him wanting to power wash the wall block that it's growing on here.. your anemone is very pretty!!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I like moss too, esp in the fairy gardens

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

I love moss.

South Hamilton, MA

Liking moss depends apon the place. I don't like it on the soil of the beds, but it is ok on trees & lawns.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Right -on mosses and leichens

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Very nice coleus Jo!
I think you may have I.D. my anemone, 'Pamina looks more like the one I have than the name they gave me. I always suspected it was labeled wrong, now im almost positive!!

Here are a few still blooming this past week.....

Zella Virginia
Balloon Flower ~ These are almost invasive here this year....you wouldn't believe the babies I have!!!!!
Extravaganza Lily ~ this is one bulb in a pot that didn't get planted in time. It has 7 flowers on one stem!
Frans Hal

I. , 2., and 5 are all flowers from my radish's The white flower went with the white radish which was very mild. Pale purple went with the lighter purple radish and the flavor was med, the darker colored flower went to the darkest radish and that one was on the warm side. I found this very interesting but not sure if the color flower really has anything to do with how hot the radish will be. Anyone know?
3. & 4.) Purslane ~ Allison got me hooked on these last year, they are just stunning!

1&2) "Cradle of Bethlehem" ~ I am awed at the size and color of this daylily and the fact that it is a late season bloomer is a bonus!
3.) False Shamrock 'Atropurpurea'
4.) Agastache 'Heatwave' ~ it has survived it's 1st winter here and on it's second summer, hope it fills out some.
5.) Phlox and little white crab-spider
