Stuffed peppers sound sooo good, Don! Pixie, those cannot have any calories, can they?
Summer cooking continued
Love stuffed peppers
Boy do those cakes look good!!!!
I had stuffed pepper soup while in Michigan. It was delightful!
What do you stuff it with, Don? Meat? Rice?
Anyone have a really good chicken cacciatore recipe?
My mom used to make the best I wish I had hers
I used the one from Joy of Cooking....I don't know how it compares to your Mom's, but check it out....
Gonna toss some steaks on the grill tonight with some New Hampshire corn from Lull farm in Hollis (sweetest of the New Hampshire corns I've ever had...got no idea what variety they grow, but it is fantastic.)
Tomorrow night shall be lamb kabobs with onions, peppers and 'maters from the garden.
cheese steak from the pizza joint
Dinner at dosetaker's!!
I'm all for that!!
If you all leave now you might make tomorrow's dinner...bring a side dish and BYOB! We can all eat till full then take turns trying to talk my 'Stella in Red' Daylillies into blooming. (Scrape has just started to emerge...bout time!).
You must be cooler up there!
meh, it was new to me this year and I transplanted it a bit late which caused it's growth to slow up a bit.
Oh yeah, road trip!
I'll pass on the road trip for now. Gotta get my sea legs back a bit before I drive anywhere soon. 6700 miles will do that to you. I do like to drive though.....
The lamb kabobs sound yummy!
Country ribs slow-cooked in improvised tomato-oniony BBQ sauce til the meat fell off the bones. Thai noodles, corn, and salad with Cherokee Purple Tomatoes and Australian Yellowleaf lettuce. Liebfraumilch. (The multi-ethnic theme wasn't planned, it just happened.)
And Vic, yes...stuffed with turkey burger, rice and spices. Sorry I'm so slow responding...been busy.
Busy cooking, I'll bet....that sounds scrumptious! I'm not familiar with yellowleaf lettuce, but I've been enjoying my Purple Cherokee toms.
I stir fried some chicken, then topped with avocado, tomatoes, jalepenos, shredded swiss cheese, and Greek yogurt. Sweet corn on the side. Was quite good.
sounds good
Yum!
Hubby went out for guys night out and right before he left he sent my son to his room and told him not to come out till he came home.....great that's like punishing me too!!! I wanted to go out for dinner....just great, thanks a lot
Yeah, you were punished, too! The chicken sounds great, Debi......Pasta with fresh tomato sauce here ......
teriyaki pineapple meatballs
wow that looks really good!!!
la! la! la! la!
schicken
Loved, loved your hot dog pieces stuck and boiled with pasta, an amazing idea, had to call my DD to tel her to make these for DGS. What do you serve them with?? I thought a cheese sauce would be good.
Good grief, Jo....would you eat that cake? I don't think I could!
It looks so real!!! I don't think I could eat it
anyone see those jello worms you make with bendy straws? Awesome idea for dirt cake
Will take a pic tomorrow of how I decorated the cake for my daughter's b-day
Cool! Would love to get that and freak my kids out!
I was waiting for you Victor.
It s a real tour 'd force in realistic baking. I wonder if the head is made of some sort of sculpting food stuff like marzipan.
That is a neat cake Jo! My cake Lady uses chocolate for molding, so I wouldn't be surprised if his head is a big blob of white chocolate. :)
That makes sense.I shared this from someone else.I did not make the cake.
She(cake Lady) is working on one now for Tiffany's annual Lobster Bake, can't wait to see what she comes up with this year. ^_^
she always does great work!!
I hope you post a pix.
I will!
Happy birthday to the little one, Jen!
I'd eat the cake, looks very cool
was in the mood for chicken cutlets .. and I had some strawberries for a snack
