Summer cooking continued

I was thinking cold rice in yogurt, kind of like rice pudding.

I don't mind yogurt plain, I buy Stoneyfield's Organic Greek yogurt

I don't care for any yogurt but do sub plain Greek yogurt for sour cream

"I don't care for any yogurt " ditto! I forced myself to eat yogurt last year because of being on high dose of antibiotics so often.
I can eat 1...... Yoplait BLACKBERRY HARVEST, that's it.

I like regular yogurt but cannot eat the Greek....texture is like wallpaper paste to me.....sweetened yogurt has a lot of calories, but I eat it occasionally....

Made dinner myself tonight. It's been awhile. I wondered if I remembered how. Chicken in onion, pepper and mushroom gravy, noodles, and conthecob.

Marinated grilled whole chicken cut in half, grilled ribs, potato & onion packet also cooked on the grill and a garden salad.

Going to a BBQ tonight for Jeff's school. Bringing broccoli salad.

Bought roast beef at the deli...will saute it with onions & serve on onion roll along with a cucumber salad.....

It was a fun time....the kids were very excited to see the baby white buffalo.....one in 10,000,000 births......last week representatives from many Native American tribes across the country came to Goshen to see the little fellow & to name him....the birth of a white buffalo is a very sacred occasion for them......

Saw this picture in a book of mini chocolate cakes with chocolate glaze, whipped cream and a strawberry on it. I said...."I can do that" but I couldn't cause I was out of cream and it was 6 in the morning. Came close...should have a little dollop of cream just under the strawberry.
