ACK! I had to peek, now I am MISSING my daylilies in a bad way. Last year around this time I got lost or mixed up and went to visit Karen one day, thinking it was her daylily round-up but it was the wrong week or Sat instead of Sun; do you remember, Karen? Anyway, hello and goodbye, friends. I will not watch this thread so I don't get too homesick.

That's kind of cool, Jen! And I love that salvia.... No, Pixie, that name doesn't ring a bell....some of your DLs are on my wish list! Sorry about the DLs, Carrie....they must grow somewhere in Texas!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

no I lost a ton of lilies this year... think the storms last year were to blame.. the one bed is barren back there.. not that it was packed last year.. but maybe 1/2 of it is gone.. Jen I forgot to say before... I think when the hen & chick flowers like that.. it is gone after that.. are there chicks there?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

nice celeste!!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yes I've pulled off a number of the chicks off of it, should I be removing all of them? ya think I'm gonna lose it?

Westbrook, CT(Zone 6a)

I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had much time to explore, but I finally looked at this thread and all I can say is "Wow!" Those are some delicious daylilies!

Some of you lily aficiandos should get together and publish a picture book (arranged by color?) with accompanying information on these glorious blooms.

Since my tags went the way of maybe the chipmunks, I can't identify most of mine! Final Touch usually blooms in Aug. & Sept., but here it is, along with Dominic, a noid, & Clearing the Fog.....

An interesting poppy, bright zinnia, Schezerade, a noid, and what I think is linum......

Very pretty Robin, I love 'Clearing the Fog' and that poppy is stunning!!
I moved my 'Dominic' to semi shade because it looked more red than burgundy.

Thanks for all the compliments, everyone. I have been very busy the last few days, and no time to stop in. I extended my daylily sale into Sunday and made over $200, then went to Hampton Beach for 2 days and one night with a few clients from work and one of my co-workers. What a fun time that was!

Don, thanks for the compliments on the daylilies. I'd have a hard time picking which ones to put in a book. I have so many nice ones. Would have to have an editor pick the best ones.

Marilyn, that NOID daylily I got from you last year was blooming the other day, but I didn't get a pic of it. Hopefully I can get it another day.

Celeste, your NOID ( http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=9206975&extraimg=3 ) looks like Asterisk: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/19863/ . I love your shot of Antique Rose with Kansas Kitten. I have both, but KK has not bloomed yet. I LOVE Asiatics Twinkle Twinkle and Dot Com. Alley Cat Blues is one I have, as well as Trahlyta, Wedding Band, Bela Lugosi, Wild Horses and had Moonlit Masquerade, but potted it up to sell, as I have Piano Man, which is one of its offspring, and they look very similar, though I think PM looks a little better. I also love your purple NOID. Looks like maybe it's Alpine Mist: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/57454/ .

Jen, I love your caladiums and coleus! Jen, you will only loose the big 'hen' on the hens and chicks after it blooms. The chicks will continue on and get bigger and bloom in their own turn. Like a century plant (agave). It dies after it blooms. Same goes for bromiliads.

Carrie, so good to hear from you. Sorry your so homesick and missing your daylilies. I would be, too. Yes, I remember when you came over a day early. That was 2 years ago, wasn't it? I thought I didn't have an RU last year, as Louise (Donniebrook) had one around the same time. Not sure now. Hate it when I can't remember stuff.

Marilyn, daylilies do grow in TX, but it's a lot hotter there, and they need to be watered more. At least here I can get by with not watering mine for the most part. I love your interesting poppy, the linum and Clearing The Fog daylily.
