Nice, Everyone
Garden Gems 2012 #5
Thanks Celeste, Allison, Marilyn, Jan and Iris. That Pardon Me seedling is probably about the same size as its pod parent. It really gets loaded with blooms and is a good increaser. I have a few others out of Pardon Me as well. They're all nice ones.
Nice pics, Marilyn. I have Wild Horses. Really a nice one. Very striking. That back hill of yours is quite steep, as I remember. Doesn't look nearly as steep in the picture.
Jo, your deck planters are looking fabby! This is a year when we really need annuals to extend the season. So sad to see everything going by so early.
Some more pics from my gardens. Two shots of one of my mother's seedlings, Pastures Of Pleasure, Strutter's Ball, one more of my Mom's.
Karen

glad to see it's not just my cintronelle with some burned leaves.. man that is a picky one.. even though I love it.. I moved mine behind my one harry lauders walking stick ... and it still gets some burnage
:)
looks great JoAnn.. love those tall lilies
A lot of work produced a very nice garden, JoAnn.
Allison. That has always bothered me.It even gets brown spots in spring .I have no idea what the cause ie as spring brings the shade there until mid June.
I must say Robina is commanding where it stands. It didnt seem so tall when the scots pine was shading it.
1st shot is my fav RD!!!
Thanks Jo, Allison and Marilyn!
Jo, your gardens still look nice in spite of the fact they are winding down.
Marilyn, I love your Startle daylily (at least that looks like Startle, the bright red with the heavily ruffled yellow edge). Yours looks so much better than mine. Maybe one day mine will look better. I get a lot of damage to the flowers from thrips. It's one that needs spraying.
Here are more from my gardens. Red Twister, Starman's Quest, Startle with Kissing Cutie, Alexandra, Spindazzle.
Karen
