Geneva Firetruck (bought it last year), Aabbaa (also bought it last year), Nijo's Castle (one of my bonus plants from Blueridge last year, not thrilled about it, so I'm selling it), Purple Sun (another bonus plant from Blueridge last year, and I really like this one), Arabi Pasha (got this one last year as well).

Brown Witch (bought this one in the summer of 2010, and it's looking great this year), a clump shot and a single of Matt...it was just loaded with blooms yesterday, Bright Sunset (this one is such a good one, almost always looks spectacular, and a great height, too, about eye-level for me), long shot with Bright Sunset in foreground.
Karen
Very nice Karen, im drawn to the very 1st one, black noid, Cranview Meadow Mist and that Purple Sun , very nice....never heard of that one before.
All so beautiful Karen!
Yes!
ooooo Love Hamlet, Purple Sun, Arabi Pasha and Hard Rock Cafe
Thanks Celeste, Ronnie and Victor!
Celeste, I'm sure there are thousands you never heard of before. You and me both. There are currently over 70,000 registered cultivars with the AHS. That doesn't include all the seedlings that were never registered.
Had to take a break and watch Dexter with my nephew. We just finished the first season. He is totally hooked!
Here are some more from yesterday.
Sunset Celebration, Lois Burns (love this one, but the only problem is it leans, as it's quite top heavy with scapes that are not sturdy enough to hold up the 9" blooms), a nice bi-color seedling of my mother's, a white seedling of my mother's, my mother's with Streaker behind.

Thanks Jen! We cross-posted.

Oops! I don't know how I ended up doing that.

Gorgeous Karen !!
Jo, do you find 'Dallas Star' almost glows in shade? The pink DL....you know the name? Looks just like 'Soft Summer Night' to me.
Some of my DL's are NOID's.I got the pink one from Pirl.sorry no name.
My Iris are the same way.
that was quite a parade karen!
Your Mom would be proud of you, Karen....you are continuing to plant some super DLs.....love the white seedling that your Mom hybridized....also Hard Rock Cafe......Jo, that pink is a perfect color!
Karen, your DL's are sooo pretty! I am very impressed with how you are continuing your mom's efforts with them.

Looks like a horse fly...they sting! Gorgeous hydrangea.....
yes it is.. guess I didn't remember what they look like.. and they bite!!!!
oh that hydrangea .. is hydrangea harlequin.. from Pirl.. was just a tiny stick not so long ago
Beautiful Allison!! Yes thats a horsefly....Justin is allergic to those beast and their cousins too!!!
really???.. how terrible
Thanks Jo, Celeste, Bill, Marilyn and Jan! I love being in my gardens everyday this time of year. I take upwards of 200 pics or more a day, until the DLs start winding down. It takes a long time to get so many pics, so I only go for the best looking blooms now. Even so, with so many, it's still time-consuming. Then in the winter I spend hours and hours going through and labeling all my daylily pics. I have one entire folder with all the DL pics that are labeled and in alphabetical order, so anytime I need a pic it's easy to find.
I love the long shots too, Jo. And I love the evening light, as well. You got some nice shots there. I could be wrong, Jo, but I think your pink NOID could be JANICE BROWN: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/207486/
Great pics, as usual, Allison! I think that fly is a horse fly, or something similar. I've gotten bitten by them several times lately. They get huge! Got stung by a bee twice in the last few days. Almost got stung by a brown wasp tonight when I disturbed a nest hidden in a bed I was weeding out. Was able to kill them before they got me. Good thing I'm not allergic. How awful for Justin, Celeste.
