Karen,
I'm amazed you can grow, keep track of, and take pictures of so many DLs. They are all beautiful! You posted one called Kwanso that was a sideways picture and seemed to show an extraordinary amount of petals. Was it just the angle of the shot or is this one really different?

i like that hydrangea too allison - nice action shots

is that what pink punch looks like celeste - i ordered two of those this year and i am hoping they survive to bloom next year!

Thomaston, CT

Loved Pink Punch! Wynne, that double orange DL, Kwanza, is very invasive! Here is a photo of how it completely took over a bed of mixed DLs....I keep digging them out, but one root left causes this.....

Nice, Celeste! I love Lady Eleanor, Rhinestone Kid and Antique Rose. Love the delph, too.

Thanks, Granite! That one is actually Flore Pleno, not Kwanso. Sorry about that. It is quite different, having several layers of petals. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/229662/ People often get it confused with Kwanso. Both are species daylilies, not hybrids, and they will take over a bed like the 'ditch lilies', as they are stoleniferous. Kwanso is also a double, but not as many petals. Here's a pic of it, with the second pic being another one of Flore Pleno. The full name of each is Hemerocallis fulva 'Kwanso' and Hemerocallis fulva 'Flore Pleno'

Is at least getting better, Allison?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

yeah I can sleep at night now... never had a fracture before.. guess it takes a while to heal?

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, guys!

Allison, sorry to hear about that. What a bummer. Fractures do take a long time to heal. I had one in my lower leg back in '87. Took a couple of months. But then I had surgery, too, so maybe a month for you. Hope the healing speeds up for you.
