'Pink Punch'
Garden Gems 2012 #5
beauties pixie
love the delph!!
Karen,
I'm amazed you can grow, keep track of, and take pictures of so many DLs. They are all beautiful! You posted one called Kwanso that was a sideways picture and seemed to show an extraordinary amount of petals. Was it just the angle of the shot or is this one really different?
Wynne
i like that hydrangea too allison - nice action shots
is that what pink punch looks like celeste - i ordered two of those this year and i am hoping they survive to bloom next year!
Nice, Celeste! I love Lady Eleanor, Rhinestone Kid and Antique Rose. Love the delph, too.
Thanks, Granite! That one is actually Flore Pleno, not Kwanso. Sorry about that. It is quite different, having several layers of petals. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/229662/ People often get it confused with Kwanso. Both are species daylilies, not hybrids, and they will take over a bed like the 'ditch lilies', as they are stoleniferous. Kwanso is also a double, but not as many petals. Here's a pic of it, with the second pic being another one of Flore Pleno. The full name of each is Hemerocallis fulva 'Kwanso' and Hemerocallis fulva 'Flore Pleno'
Karen
holey moley!!!!
Celeste is Rhinestone kid really that hot pink????
Nice Karen .. Love the coral colors... Well sorry guys you will have to put up with photos of the same flowers for another 2 weeks... Doc said to keep doing what a I am doing ... Which is nothing
Many beauties in there, Karen....Roswitha is very unusual....
Is at least getting better, Allison?
yeah I can sleep at night now... never had a fracture before.. guess it takes a while to heal?
Thanks, guys!
Allison, sorry to hear about that. What a bummer. Fractures do take a long time to heal. I had one in my lower leg back in '87. Took a couple of months. But then I had surgery, too, so maybe a month for you. Hope the healing speeds up for you.
Karen
thanks.. what a bummer.. I know the ligaments took forever as well.. should just expect it
cut them off Jen.. less foliage if you leave em
Nice, Allison and Jen! Lilies have such perfect flowers, as do daylilies.
Karen
Nice Jen & Allison!! The last little one looks like 'Angelique' Allison.
Karen, I bought 'Forsyth Flaming Snow' last year, after seeing your picture I can't wait for it to bloom! Really like that 'Bittersweet Destiny' too!!
