Garden Gems 2012 #4
Thanks, all.
Beautiful, Celeste - I'll take it! ^_^
all but the winter!!!
Allison The Bears breech is a perennial. Its DD's she brought from her old house 5 years ago. It took 3 years to really look good.
Cool painting! You got talent, Robin! The photos were from last month. I do have blooms currently on the Fourth of July. some sprays on a couple branches. I just summer pruned all my roses. So hoping for a second flush.
Currently I got lilies, dahlias, coneflowers, some clematis blooming at the moment. will post photos when I get the chance.
If you want to see my rose garden - close to 100 varieties in full bloom, I posted it in the rose fourm:

And I'm not even done posting all varieties.
I love mustard!!.. thank you JoAnn.. just planted it last year in hopes it would return.. the one I planted is borderline hardy here .. lovely painting RD!!!

Welcome back Tex, just one word WOW!!!!!
great pic's all!
When is that RU celeste? might have to bring a tent:)
Marilyn what a wonderful painting.Nice treatment of those petals.
Thanks all....the rose was hard to paint because it's a 'stiff' rose....not much bend to its petals......Tex, I can't believe that rose collection.....I just couldn't choose a favorite.....all are gorgeous, and to see the color changes is wonderful!
Beautiful stuff, everyone! Marilyn, I love the painting of the Fourth Of July rose. I'm just loving my new ones.
Tex, what an amazing display of roses you have at your place. Thanks for sharing. Will have to go through and really look at all your pics when I have more time. I just got 2 Fourth of July roses last month for a new (used, new to me, got it for $40) arbor. I love them! I also bought a Judy Garland rose. Still deciding where to plant that one.
Karen
