^_^
Cant go wrong with a lily.la! la! la! la!
Beautiful, as usual, Jo. You do have a way with combos.
I am fi ding I like caladiums because they give lots of color. If DH always wants to leave for July, I have to pick things that I will enjoy and not miss their show of color.
Love that combo Jo
I agree about caladiums. They dont overwhelm with color and leaf shapes are great.
Love the way the lily color compliments the echies!
Ordered from B & D Lilies ~
'Saltarello' - Orienpet
'Etoshia' - Orienpet
'Gizmo' - Easter
that combo IS great, Jo
Thanks gardeners! I hope they do better this year than last.
I'm looking at the same catalog, Pixie.....haven't made my choices yet, but I also liked Gizmo......
ordered two more itoh peony - garden treasure and first arrival in a coop - the bare roots are supposed to be very large.
fairweather catalog came yesterday - have not looked at it yet.
That's where I bought the camellia.....
Marilyn, are camellias hardy in your CT zone? How exciting if I could grow a couple camellias at our new place in Conn! What color is yours?
Winter's Star, a pale pink, is hardy to zone 6, so I'm pushing it, but I will give it winter protection for the first few years....it begins blooming in late Sept. I'm excited about trying it.....
I did buy April Dawn for zone 6. This article talks about being able to grow in colder zone, depending where you put it.
