Does anyone know what Iris this is? I've had it a couple of years, but this is the first bloom. A Louisiana maybe?
Garden Gems June 2012 #3
We love 'Blue Snippet'.
Don't worry Rose, you'll never get rid of them...been trying for 3 years now.
Geeze, Pixie!! I was babying the old one because I thought it might be a fragile thing!! Are they invasive?????
Heehee!! Sounds like they like Maine.
It mostly stayed in the same place for 3 years. Then I tried to get a piece of it for someone and it popped up in 2 more places. So in 2010 I THOUGHT I had dug it up and got rid of it. NOPE! I noticed the other day it was up again. I don't have 'Sapphire Blue' this is an older one...I've had it for 8 years or more.
I love Eryngium but mine died out after a bout of fungus. Never did thrive, had it only two years.
Woohoo!!! Glad you girls had a nice visit.
my sea holly never thrived.. not sure which it is off the top of my head... but I think they are on there way out.. love praying hands RD.. such a neat one
Lily and Campion combo is great. Hot pink and peachy yellows go great together.
Nice, Jen
my millions of photos.. Celeste was the red tango lily from you?.. don't think I bought that one in the co-op last year???.. will have to see if it has a tag

Not sure Allison, don't think so though. I can't believe you have delphiniums blooming too, mine are no where near! Baskets lood great, that fuchsia is huge!!! Your clems look good too, must be a good year for them!!
yes very good year for clems.. even though I lost one that I planted on that bed frame last year :(
no worries though... I am sure the honeysuckle will take over soon enough.. I bought that fuschia at ace hardware.. I couldn't walk away from it .. strange year for sure.. do those peach leaf bell flowers bloom every other year.. or every year?... I know it bloomed last year in the start of June.. no where near this year
Great pictures, Allison. I love your Digitalis!! Hoping I will get to see some here for the first time ever.
those are nice hosta marilyn
sea holly here died too
Great pics!
Teri I have a bunch I can dig for you if you need more
Looking good Allison, love the clems and the bed frame
thanks!
Why don't we get together here with Jen. We can talk about some swaps before time, and Jen can pick her rocks also. Anyone else would be welcome to come if they'd like.
sounds good to me.. I am sure Michele will want to tag along.. I have stuff for Jen anyway.. if you are up to it Jen
I'll be baby sitting for the next week, but I think I'll be free on the weekend of June 23rd.
I love that combo, Jen....Jo would do a great job painting it! Gardens are looking lovely, Allison....that dark red lily is my favorite.....Bill....I think Two-If-By-Sea is one of Mildred Seaver's.....she used sea names for her hostas, lived somewhere in eastern MA....
I have one potted up .. ready for the next swap RD
Sat morn the 23rd may be good
good for me... will ask Michele
OK. Maybe we should use D Mail because we're really going off topic here. Anyone else care to join us?
Topic? Hahahaha!
if we go to the other site we can all chat in the same private message
The asclepias looks really nice in such a large clump......Allison, how large does that hosta get?
Tha k you. My grandmother always had some. Wish I had some from her old place. The iris I have originally came from her garden then to my mom and she passed it along to our whole family.
Oooh, pretty... love the pink....
My asclepias Has been slow to start this year and isn't 6" tall yet.
