Good morning, another early riser! Pond is a mess. Too many big frogs, they are constantly fighting for dominance. They are ruining the serenity I am seeking.
Garden Gems June 2012 #3
There are noise peoblems everywhere.
We have 3 sets of House Wrens that scream and chatter all day.
Rose, should it say COVERS not CLOVERS? LOL
Allison those are fantastic shots!! Awesome shot of the hummers and pups!!
Mittsy I love those pond lilies!! Now I have a pond I think I ought to look into some. :)
Planted this 2009 and have waited until now for it to bloom. Peony 'BARTZELLA'
2) Is a noid i've had for 7 or more years. It NEVER falls over!

thank you.. I do enjoy it JoAnn.. great pond Mittsy!!!... yum I want some blueberries Celeste!!!
I have extras of the big pink water lilies, MMe. W. Gonnere. Want some?
I'll have to ask the other-half first, but thank you for the offer!!!
Pixie, LOVE the yellow"Bartzella" peony.
Thanks Terry! Me too, wanted it so bad but refused to pay the $100 they were asking for it when it first came out. Then it went down to 75 -60$ but I was still holding out. One day a DG who knew I lusted after it, asked if I would pay $50 for one. It was a bit smaller but had good set of roots so I took it. Came in the fall of 09 , that means i've lusted after this one bloom for approx. 5 years. I'm obsessed! LOL
I love the weathered silvery look of the fence going into the garden. The Hydrangeas are starting and the hostas make a nice contrast with the 'Coppertina' Ninebark. Now if I could just stay ahead of the weeds. This was the year I finally cut down the Wisteria, 20+ years and it only bloomed once. I did notice some suckers coming up out of the ground. I'll have to be ruthless in order to keep it from coming back.
some really nice pictures there allison!
hope i do not have to wait that long celeste - got one in a coop this spring for cheap and it has grown well so far.
nice mittsy
Sooo many pretties! In this world of instant gratification, I think gardeners are special in that we wait patiently for the anticipated show.
Love the reddish peonies.
Love the silvery fence with the Coppertina, too.
Great photos....loved the angelonia, Allison, & the Yorkies in their summer doos....Pixie, Bartzella is a good one to lust over....Mittsy, great pond shots.....you need a heron to eat those frogs!
I have a heron, unfortunately he likes the fancy tailed goldfish better.
Oh, can't blame him!
love your crazy lady!!!.. would fit me too!!!.. I ran out to take a couple of shots before the storm
Park's Lisianthus Double Mix..
Celeste's desert song (check out the big Rudbeckia maxima I bought Randy up on the top of the hill near the power supports)..

Allison, I just love that DL you got from Celeste in this post: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=9172038 . So pretty! Do you know the name of that one?
Jo, I love the black poppies. Are those annuals or perennials, and what variety? The shot of the hot colors is great.
Great hummer shots and pics of the pups, Allison!
Mittsy, I love your waterlily shots. Waterlilies are so gorgeous. Your fence is a beauty.
Celeste, I love your 'Bartzella' peony, and that NOID is amazingly beautiful!
Here are some from me. One of my planters with a couple calibrachoa and a verbena; astilbes; NOID daylily; Fourth Of July rose; another planter with impatiens and 'Silver Brocade' Artemesia.
