This was the base to the JM that hubby broke....looking pretty good, any idea which JM it is???
Garden Gems - April 2012, Part 2
Looks healthy...not a clue to what it is, though...
Yes, it really pops....love the TBI color, too...can't believe you have a rose!
Lovely Jen, love that geum and I too am shocked how much you have blooming!!!!
nice Jen!!
I just wish it wasn't so spread out, I have a lot of yard to fill ☺
Really love the geum with the purple!!!
Jen, I think that your picture of the geum just solved my mystery plant problem. Beautiful pics!
Nice combo!
That reminds me the primula she gave me is budded but no show yet.
Nice combo Marilyn. My verbascums are just starting.
very nice combo!!!
Everything is looking so good
What plant in your garden is your favorite and why?
Always the irises, Rose, since I toddled into my grandma's gardens....lilies are a close second, but the beetles are such a scourge!
Pick a favorite??? CAN'T!!! I love my daylilies, lilies and iris's.
coleus.. hands down!!!!.. best plant ever!!!
;)
Actually it would depend on what month. ^_^
but then all the hummer plants... I rescind my statement... LOL
I really like my dianthus firewitch. I love the foliage color, and while I actually don't like pink in general, this pink is pretty awesome next to the blue foliage. And it is such a hands-off plant.
My peonies are still my fav. In spring the little red shoots make great contrast. Then it's all about anticipation of the blooms, however short-lived, though the season lasts about two months by staggering the bloom dates. By midsummer I don't have to water them anymore until they pop up again in spring.
ok it's official ... the hummers are here... I was potting up some balloon flowers I dug for the swap in a couple of weeks... and we both scared the crud out of each other.. he came zooming in to the feeder.. and caught me off guard.. came so close to my shoulder it made me jump
Isnt there a new thread?
nope this is the most recent one
YAY on the hummers!
I really don't have a favorite flower either....funny part of the game we played at mother/daughter breakfast yesterday, to see how well you knew your mother or daughter, was a series of questions what's her favorite....... ice cream flavor, color, flower, etc?
I guess the closest to my fav is Daylily, (esp the reblooming ones) foliage always stays nice and neat and when the early ones are growing they hide the dying bulb foliage
I guess I have a favorite in each bed....my fav in the blue, yellow and white garden is Jethro Tull Coreopsis, longest blooming flower I own
Very pretty, all!
Hope to add some later or tomorrow.
Have to say some things here are looking their best ever. This includes my white azalea and the hawthorn tree blooms. Too bad they are stinky!
Very nice...more blooms are starting here....
Beauties!
nice!!!!
Love 'em!
Last year I fell in love with that Primula Japonica. I got 8 of them. I would like to have a border of them.
Very pretty Jen, Allison & Robin!
