Dark purple DB iris, Symphytum 'Axeminster Gold' w/filipendula (queen of the prairie), PJM rhodie, dogwood flower, yellow DB iris.

Dawn redwood 'Ogon' (a.k.a. 'Gold Rush'), red bush w/huge dwarf Alberta Spruce, NOID rhodie, redbud flowers, some old stuff in the garden.

Redbud flowers (Cercis canadensis) w/dogwood blooms (Cornus florida), crab blossoms, Spanish bluebells w/Hosta 'Dancing in the Rain', ditto w/Hosta 'Dark Star', hosta w/variegated Solomon's Seal.

love that Axeminster Gold Karen... think I said the rogersia was from fairweather.. but it was from rarefind.. now out of stock.. bad news is the deer did eat the flowers last year.. good news is they left the foliage alone

Love the white iris...really stands out....Karen, your gardens are beautiful....the dark purple iris is very nice! Having a stepson in Maine most of his life, I loved the ME dictionary....he makes a wicked chowdah!

It makes her look like she is in a early morning meadow.
Fog also hides the ugly blackraspberries of the neighbors.

My last dwarf iris to bloom, my fav hosta, more woodland phlox. And a lilac in the backyard.

Must have hit the hosta twice....here's the phlox...
