I hate those kind of dreams!

In Astoria the other day, some guy walks by with two horns in his head.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Actually in his head?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh yeah, seen that...people are weird!!!

I got thinking about this. They cant be actual bone or at least in the head. I would say infection would errupt. Not all people will take to the metal they use for teeth implants or a rod they put in an arm or leg etc. What is that titanium???

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Maybe titanium, I don't know what they use to do it...It's just crazy!!!

Chainsaw masacar wouldnt even work to remove them. Well uhh below the lobes.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I wonder how they get through the airport scanner.

Hillsborough, NC(Zone 7b)

could be stainless steel.
I think once the hole has healed it is no different than slipping an earring through the hole and so probably cn take any metal as long as not allergic. I bet nickel is avoided.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

I've seen the horns too...weird.

My husband had a reaction to the metal in his knee replacement...no fun

From Wikipedia

Horn implants
In this modification, small pieces of Teflon or silicone are inserted beneath the skin of the forehead, giving the appearance of small horns. These can be gradually replaced with larger and larger pieces as the skin stretches, creating larger horns.

The first set of horn implants were done by Steve Haworth on The Enigma. Steve Haworth invented this type of modification. He currently uses silicone for his horn implants.

Well, that's weird....have not seen any around here, thank you very much!

Gross

Hillsborough, NC(Zone 7b)

Ah UNDER the skin.
I thought the 'metal' was coming through the skin and what was showing was shiny horns.
Silicone makes sense. Wonder if the prosthetic is numbered. Silicone breasts have helped solve a lot of identity issues for crime detectives.

Wonder why in the world he ever even thought to do that...oh you know what would be a great idea??? If could have horns, like an animal ...yeah great look...NOT!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

It's as bad as the earrings that make a giant hole in the lobe, I can't look at them!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Oh yeah, those are NASTY!!!!

Hillsborough, NC(Zone 7b)

Luv, you gave me a chuckle. First time I "saw" those huge holes in earlobe......I thought I was looking at a huge mirrored earring in the guys ear. It was at a supermarket and the stuff in front and the stuff behind him in the aisle...well looked the same. Stuff on supermarket shelves in same aisle looks generic. . So, I thought I was looking at a reflection of the grocery items on the shelves. My eyes aren't that good anyway. ;0( When I got close I saw it was this HUGE hole kept open by a ring...sort of like a grommet. I was actually looking THROUGH his ear at the shelf items behind him! That is when I knew I was a behind the times old fart!

LOL Rosie!

Any hole in any Structure makes it weaker, like an egg. Let them be bone heads, horn heads or butt heads. They will hit rock bottom the dumb butts.

Darwin award nominee http://now.msn.com/gun-dealer-arms-himself-in-penis-shooting .

If anyone has worked with tomatoe plants, pulling off leaves or moving leaves, you wash your hands and the water is yellow.

Why? What does it?

I cant find it anywhere on the web.
