Sigh :(
Whats New March 2012
Jan and Marilyn - I need to get my hands on a PC that works better than mine does in order to post any shots of my art projects or blooms. I thought it was interesting that the newscast tonight was saying that the new ipad would soon make PCs a thing of the past....not so fast....I can't fully use my internet banking on my ipad and can't post any pics for DG. Lol.
:) Nice to see you Louise, feeling any better?
Hangin' in, Celeste....thanks!
Isnt the new I-Pad over $400.00? wait a few years and they will be premiums in cereal boxes.
I have a rebuild DELL laptop. $250.00 until it ran out of disc space.I needed more G's and when my computer nerd was done with it it was a $500.00 used computer.
In MA they announced that cell phones and computers can come into the courtrooms. Means I'm starting to carry my Sony Vaio, but even an 11" seems heavy.
I've been waiting for a tinier ipad, but maybe in a year, it'll be less expensive. Did you see all the other products being advertised on the evening news? The competitors aren't just allowing the Apple media machine to bowl them over anymore.
We do the same thing ge1836. Hubby got our Pc's used and had his guy work on them. But it was like yours, a used $500.00 computer, and that was just one of them.
I told him this time, before he does that, get a price and then lets see what a new one would cost. I think $500.00 is a bit much for a used one.
We saw how you can now turn on your lights . turn down the furnace, with the new Verizon app for only an extra 9.99 a month. But how much does it cost to get all your house hooked up. Wouldn't you have to get all new hardware on these things to make this app work?

Oh, OK, Louise, you're off the hook for now, but I expect to see good stuff when you get back to NH! Love that white crocus.....

Daffodils are starting to bloom in my yard. Woohoo!!!
This meands its only 4 weeks til it gets here.
Nice color & worth waiting for!
2 warm days and I expect to see tulips. I gotta remember its still March.
Nice !
what a cutie!!!
Great pics to reinforce the good mood today!
no peepers here yet although so the first pair of mallards in the pond this morning
I am replanting heaved things. Some Robins are singing and its very cold with snow showers.
Great news from NJ Bill.
Driving the kids to school this morning noticed a whole row of pink flowering trees....WOW
Same here Bill, the Mallards landed yesterday...spring is here. ^_^
Mallards have been on the river all winter here.....so nice that nothing was frozen for very long....one lake in the area has an ice- out watch every year....this year the lake was only entirely frozen for 17 days....shortest in the time anyone has kept the records.....
Was in the city today with the kids. Lots of spring blooms in Central Park, including many daffs and some gorgeous cherry trees.
Turn clocks ahead tonight. Seems realy in the year.
Once again I wish they would do away with DST.
I would like DST all year long......would rather have light late than early....wow, can't believe cherries are blooming already.....guess I should be planting my peas!
I would rather to have the light at night also. who needs it in the morning. I like coming home and still being able to do something out side and it not being dark at 4pm. My body says it is time for bed when it does that...lol
I love Katherine!
Yes - DST all year for me too.
Lovely!!!
What a sweet photo of the kids.....
Adorable!
LOVE that pic of the kids, you know I've never been to Central Park
Sacrilege, Jen!
Looks promising for us in the north.
that is sacrilege Jen.. you need to go!!!
still waiting to see what happens with this pussy willow... during Irene it was ripped out of the ground.. Randy up righted it and tied it to the deck rail to hold it up
and too bad I didn't have the good lens on to take the shot of the tree.. red tail & vultures were doing there thing yesterday
Nice pics! Hope the pussy willow took.
